Black Friday isn't officially here yet, but that hasn't stopped companies like Amazon jumping on the bandwagon early. The online retail giant is already offering some tasty deals, and if you're in the market for Micro SD cards, then you'll want to check out these offers.
SanDisk's excellent 128GB and 200GB cards have massive savings, but if you can afford it, the 512GB option is your best bet.

200 GBs for $30 is mighty tempting.
Excellent price for 512gb. I bought the same one on sale for £80, so that is good.
I saw the other day on Amazon some 256gb for $30 and 400gb for $52. And thats well before black friday. Might snag one myself.
Just an FYI is that the write speeds are just as important as the read speeds. The 400gb for $52.00 was by SanDisk. I have a 256 GB from samsung which took like 6 hours to copy off the card onto my pc. It was gonna take over 12 hours to copy it to that SD card using the same PC. My PC ain't new so obviously that could impact the times but still that's a huge difference. So something to keep in mind. Maybe we need an article on this NintendoLife.
I have a 512GB MicroSD card for my Switch already, that I got for $52 (~£40.48) at the last Amazon Prime Day Sale. But it's already just about full. I have like ~20GBs remaining. So now I'm on the lookout for a good deal on 1TB MircoSD cards. I don't see one posted here, sadly.
You might also see some micro SD cards that allegedly have over a terabyte of capacity for around $30. My advice is to steer clear of them because the chances are they are either fake or extremely unreliable.
While NOT recommended, the 1TB SanDisk card is the price of a standard Nintendo Switch. Price is slowly going down. Wish there was something between 512 GB and 1 TB.
Meanwhile I'm over here looking forlornly at only 100gb left free on my 1tb micro sd card
I'd gladly pay extra for a switch with larger internal memory.
@magnumc500 They aren't AS important. All major SD cards on the market have a write speed above the speed that the Switch supports. It only comes into play when, as you said, you use them on PC.
Be careful buying scan disk off amazon. A lot of people reporting that amazon are sell fakes.
I need a Switch with at least two SD card slots.
I'll stick with "MyMemory" branded ones on the MyMemory UK site. The 512GB card I bought has been £63.99 for ages and has lifetime warranty and performs better than my 400GB Sandisk card. Really wish other companies would release 1TB cards . . .The price usually plummets when theres more competition.
@link3710 I was going to say the same thing. Digital foundry found no major gains with faster cards. In fact slower ones performed marginally better.
@progx
I'm more wondering why the 1tb and 512 gig ones are so obscenely expensive while 400 gig is managable
im eyeing a 256 gig card
@KitsuneNight 512gb has come down massively in price. I'd say it is very affordable now.
The 1tb is insane though.
Looking for the 1tb sale and maybe a release of the 2tb card....
1TB is expensive because it's fairly new. It'll come down in price when bigger ones hit the stores.
I remember buying my 200GB card a year ago for as much money as 400GB cards go now.
(And now I need a bigger one, which I already should have - but Amazon sent me a totally different item so after sending it back to them, I'll buy the card in a physical store where I don't have to wait two weeks for nothing...)
I’m still using my humble 128GB card, since I mostly buy cartridges that has been fine. Wouldn’t mind a great deal on a much larger card though. By the time I really need it they’ll be nice and cheap.
Talking of Black Friday deals Amazon UK have Witcher 3 for £35!
My 128 needs constant management, so the 200 looks appealing.
Might just pick up the 200gb. Got a Switch Lite a little while ago and I need one so I can actually download all of my eShop games, Updates, and DLC to the system.
I'm still using a 64GB card. It works, I jist have to archive stuff once in a while. But at these prices, might be time for an upgrade!
I'm going to 1 TB somewhere in the near future...my 400 GB is almost full (I'm pretty much digital only). Gonna wait for them to come down further though. Even at the $299 sale price that's still too much.
You can get an Integral 512gb card for £58. It has very good reviews.

I thought I wouldn't fill up my 512gb card for quite a while after upgrading from 256gb but already having to archive. Maybe I just have too many games...Hope the 1tb cards come down in the next few years
@Klunk23 if your 128 needs constant management then the 200 won't last you to long. You should probably get a 400.
@construx then you didn't buy a SanDisk microSD. Remember this Buy Cheap get RipOff. You want good microSD get SanDisk not some knockoff that sell it for half of what a SanDisk sells for. And buying that is the buyers fault not Amazon. Deals too good to be true is exactly that knockoffs.
@Dirty0814 Um, I think you accidentally replied to the wrong person.
@SwitchForce I did buy a SanDisk card.
They sent me a black, flat disc-like object with 8 cm diameter. It looks like a very small frisbee. You can push its top and bottom and when you release them, they jump back at their starting position.
I don't know what that item is but it's definitely not a micro SD card...
I would like a 512gb SD card but don't like the thought of transferring all the content over. Still have around 40gb available so will stay with what I have for now.
I saw a post on Reddit that some cards are fake. Be careful.
First it was all about the Pentiums. Now, it's all about the Gigabytes, baby!
Wow, it’s been awhile since I last checked sd card prices but those deals are great.
@construx I find that odd SanDisk have their emblem stamped on it. What is the link where you bought it and pic of the microsd?
No affiliate links? Bought 400gb in the last sale but less than 100gb spare. Hoping 500gb reduces again soon.
Just got the 512 GB one, should last me a while.
