While his statement is true it comes off as slightly patronizing. This is the kind of thing you say about the competition when you feel like there is no more "competition".

Would he really be making these statements if Nintendo were in the lead. It's business tactics 101; downplay competition when they are in the lead and talk them up when they are behind you, as it makes you look "open", "fair" and "nice"...but it really just means you don't see them as a threat

@Danny429 @topperware
Ok guys I figured it out! At least, this worked for me. Go into your settings and data management, connect to your pc and change your Nintendo folder properties by unchecking "read only". After the settings changed, your New3DS will automatically reboot. And hopefully your will have your data available. At least, for me, all of my puzzle swap data returned

@Meloetta Same here. I think it comes to Nintendo (of America) doubling down on their shelf presence/product demand. Ever since third parties unofficially dropped them, it's almost as if they have lost market confidence and lowered supply.

That way if they underperform it doesn't stand out (or hurt as much financially), and if they surpass expectations it creates buzz, demand and makes them look more successful. It's almost a win-win situation

@King_Stannis Maybe because those people aren't nearly as involved in the process as he is. He personally checks and balances every character, frame by frame. And to top it off he worked on TWO versions that ran on competely different hardware..and in under 4 years. How long has Kojima had to work on MGSV? and even Kojima himself has complained about being shackled to MGS, as has Miyamoto about letting other, younger staff take over projects.

You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. Go read up on stuff before talking nonsense.

Amiibo are probably the worst case I've ever seen of meeting market demand and mismanagement of product available and distribution. It really makes me tjink if Nintendo had any real clear vision on the market for Amiibo.

It's a problem when a product sells out during preorder and subsequently is then indefinitely cancelled for future production. Disgusting.

Bizzyb commented on Feature: The Wii U is Two Years Old, But How's...:

Very satisfied with my Wii U. It's been a rough 2 years but the console is really coming into it's own. Hands down it has the best console exclusives and a large portion of those are very high quality.

The gamepad is one of the best things to come out of this generation (I'm posting this though the gamepad actually) and it's a shame we won't see many deveopers outside of Nintendo use it to it's fullest potential. All in all, I think Wii U will do just fine. As more people realize what the console has to offer and is capable of I think Nintendo will gain more traction in the market. Here's hoping it only gets better from here on out!

@allav866 No problem! Im just upset litterally no one bothered to give specific details on how this worked...and are you sure its in the millions? That sounds like an awful lot but either way its not that hard to earn O-parts (money) in this game. Esp during some boss fights.

Bizzyb commented on Use a 'Platinum Code' to Unlock Bayonetta and ...:

OK guys, it works!

1. Use the d-pad
2. You must be in VERY specific spots for each stage. Refer to the screen caps in the NeoGaf thread. Even pressing ZR (dodge) will cause you to move from spot so make sure you are in exact correct position.

Edit: ***Also, VERY IMPORTANT, you need 200,000 O parts to unlock the Bayonetta characters. All other character sets codt 100,000. Using the code will AUTOMATICALLY deduct the money. Not having enough money will not allow the code to work. ***

Bizzyb commented on Project CARS Delayed to March 2015 on PS4 and ...:

I think its obvious I was exaggerating but my point rains that the large majority of PS/Xbox owners are looking forward to OTHER racers as opposed to some indie racer. It has been polled on their website which versions have the most interest and Wii U won by a LARGE margin. There is no competition, a larger awareness/more interest and players starved for content on Wii U...yet that is the very platform they give the least amount of attention. Mind boggling. Sales will speak for themselves.

Bizzyb commented on Project CARS Delayed to March 2015 on PS4 and ...:

They need to realize NO ONE wants this game on PS or Xbox. Their ONLY source of real hype and anticipation has been from the Wii U crowd. And yet that is the very audience they choose to ignore and disrespect....such idiots. They are going to fail so hard with this game. I see it now...another Watch_Dogs in the making except no success on ANY platform.

Bizzyb commented on Wii U Version of Watch Dogs to Miss Out on DLC:

@Akira_1975 I have been saying for the longest time that I truly do believe that MS (and possibly Sony) developed a Nintendo NON Parity agreement with all other major publishers. There was a point in time when Wii U would be expected to have "definitive" versions of games, I.e. same (basic) visuals, same content, BUT with unique gameplay elements only possible with gamepad.

MS was already having issues with parity on PS4 games (there is an unofficial ps4 parity clause that states developers can't make games that look significantly better on PS4). So what was MS to do? Tell publishers that Wii U versions of games can't have all of the content/features. Its basically sabotage. I can't think of any other reason that Wii U versions all of a sudden CONSTANTLY were missing features and content, for no real reason.

I really hope all of these publishers fall flat on their faces and realize how shortsighted it was to screw an entire user base over like they've been doing.

Bizzyb commented on Wii U Version of Watch Dogs to Miss Out on DLC:

Ubisoft entire handling of the game on Wii U...disturbingly unprofessional, and that's not being hyperbolic either. It's a damn shame they can't even at least go out on Wii U with some damn dignity. Completely spitting on the face of millions of potential customers. Can't even be bothered to show ONE screenshot or give ONE interview. This really makes them look bad as an entire organization. I'm canceling my pre order. Might get it when $20

Bizzyb commented on Exclusive: TriForce Johnson Announces The Lege...:

@Geonjaha Wind Waker made it abundantly clear that there WAS a connection to OOT. Then Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks Were direct sequels. A Link Between Worlds, clearly has ties to ALttP. Lastly, Skyward Sword makes the foundation for the origin of Zelda, Link, and Ganon's reincarnations. Nintendo knew what they were doing with this timeline stuff

Bizzyb commented on Watch Dogs Wii U Release Dates Confirmed:

Thank You Ubisoft for not being cruddy and doing something like a stealth release.

Now, all you need to do is announce DLC support and/or a reduced price and you just may actually get gamers to care again...but of course you WON'T do that bc it makes too much sense and would actually give the game a chance.

Bizzyb commented on Nintendo 64x64: Body Harvest:

This game had such a beautiful soundtrack. Haunting, soothing, and heart pounding tunes were all present. The rest of the game was rough around the edges but it was hard to deny how impressive the open world was back then.

So many different vehicles you could use...from jeeps to bikes and even jet fighters! Definitely one of the most underrated and hidden gems of the N64

Bizzyb commented on Project CARS Wii U Delay Was To Ensure It's As...:

Wii U owners are TIRED of being treated as 2nd class citizens. We are probably some of the most passionate and dedicated consumers out there. Yet 3rd parties always try to find a way to slight us and treat us blatantly disrespectful. Yet they expect us to lap up every and anything they toss us. As if we "ought to be grateful". Ive never seen such complete and utter brashness and disconnect between a product provider and its consumer.

It makes me upset just thinking about it.

@BensonUii Hilarious.

I'm really looking forward to the improved 3D viewing annd faster CPU. I always wondered what the 3DS could do if it had a bit more processing power. Also the inclusion of the c stick really helps for several games. This is basically a MH machine, but that's fine, hopefully more games will use the c stick

I remember when I got Melee and Brawl on release day...there's something very special about that moment you finally put your hands on the newest Smash just know you're in for hours upon hour of pure gaming bliss.

I look forward to that feeling again this October and again in November/December
