I didn't know anybody with a master system, my friends and I were big NES fans.
I remember trying a master system demo console in one of my local shops and I wasn't impressed one bit.

With the way the whole video game industry is going, Nintendo needs to branch out to keep the business going.
Only problem is, I don't think the QoL thing is going to be the ssving grace.
I also think that the QoL will be massive in Japan as they seem to be in on the whole healthy living at the moment.

I'm fine with Nintendo moving into other areas like the quality of life thing they're looking at. Let that be an internal R&D issue.
But what I don't understand is why on earth they don't get their external devs on to making new entries for their other IP's.
Donkey Kong returns is proof that it can be done. Punch Out wii and kid icarus uprising were two big hits in the hands of the 2nd party devs, and yet it's like they're totally irrelevant.
Miyamoto even admitted that he thought people were bored of F-Zero until somebody out the contrary, which just shows how little time they have for listening, or they just don't care.

@epicdude12302 sd cards only work in Wii mode. You can't download WiiU games to it. You'll need a portable hard drive.
Anyways, I might look into ninja gaiden 3, might get some practice before hyrule warriors comes out.
Also, it's about time some of the retail downloads got reduce considering how long they've been out.
Just a shame EA won't reduce Need for speed, but we all know what d-baggers they are.

Makes me laugh that you can send friend invites to random wiiu owners, yet you can't make friends with your 3DS. And with the 3DS now not having any means of proper communication, this seems to be a bit of an odd move.

It'll soon shut up all of those idiot share holders wanting Nintendo to make tablet games.
As long as Nintendo are the ones to produce the pad and control the content then it's up to them what they do with their franchises.

I could understand if there were licensing issues, but as Nintendo own all franchises included in the game, it just makes me wonder if it's just not selling enough.
Besides, it won't be missed, it's not one of their greats now is it.

Regardless of everyone thinking Nintendo are going overboard to protect the children. What you guys need to remember, as Thomas pointed out in his article, it's against the the law to possess and distribute pictures of children in a provocative manor.
The last thing Nintendo needs is to be seen as the company that allows that kind of behaviour to happen on it's consoles.
The problem is, that kind of reputation is not good for any business, regardless of what it is.
And who here really thinks that it's ok for that to actually happen? I'd actually bet that not a single person here would be happy to be labeled as a pervert for the rest of their lives.
For those who don't have children yet, imagine for a moment that if it was your younger brother, sister, neice, or nephew and that you found out that they were sending pictures of themselves to people they didn't know. I'm sure you'd be furious.

Nintendo's main headquarters need to allow NoE and NoA to start producing more games catered for the western audience. We're two thirds of the Nintendo buying population, and for years the potential for tapping into huge profits have been allowed to slip into the hands of the competition.

I know most wanted u is on the eShop, and can be bought from online retailers, but I've never seen a copy on the shelves in the shops. That's a third of potential sales lost there, if not more. If people saw it in the shops and didn't want to buy it there, there would be more chance of them seeking it out from the eshop or online.
These games companies also need to employ people who actually understand marketing and sales strategies, word of mouth and magazine press releases are no longer a viable way of advertising games anymore.

@jorgem696 by what you said it seems that you were rude first, so what did you expect with the reaction you got.
If you don't like somebody's drawings, tell them politely where they went wrong, and how to improve it, if you can't do that then it's better to keep your comments to yourself.
As for the update, anything that improves the experience, no matter how minor is always welcome.

dizzy_boy commented on "Uninformed" Store Staff Are Hurting Wii U Sal...:

Thing is, alot of people are taking jobs at the big stores just to cover household bills. These people don't really care about the products they're selling, just as long as they can do the job of filling shelves or running the tills.
The only people who really care about and have knowledge of what they're selling would be working in smaller, specialized shops.
If Nintendo were to branch out with more stores, It would get product knowledge out to the mass market, but the prices would more than likely stay at RRP in their stores. It could then be possible that other retailers would reduce their stock even further and there would be less deals going about.

This reminded me of when I went to last years Eurogamer. One of the girls on the Nintendo stand was showing people the games on the 3DS section, I ended up explaining to HER what the 3DS did, and how it worked.
People really need to know the products they're selling, even if they don't own them. Bosses are also at fault for not making sure that their staff are given the relevant information.
