As long as the cards are a reasonable price, I'll be happy to take them over the figures. All I want is to unlock in game content for the games I have.
Don't get me wrong, the figurines are cool, but the price puts me off just to unlock that content.

@alLabouTandroiD the DLC prices are on the eShop, buying the season pass is the cheapest way to get all of the DLC. Also it doesn't matter when you pay for the pass, the last DLC is included and will download automatically when it's released.
I can't what to play as Ganon, that should be fun. Also, it would be nice if the scores are online, it would be cool to compare scores against friends.

I wouldn't be suprised if Nintendo have set up a separate division for the QoL range. If it's not related to the video game side of the business tnen it wouldn't make sense to have it developed by their game R&D.
What ever they do with it, I hope it succeeds and brings in the cash to shut up the investors.

@quorthon I understand that Dan Adleman said demo's impact sales, and I pointed out that people aren't going to buy a game if they dislike a demo.
The opposite could have been true, if those games were better, then people would buy them based of the demo, but that hasn't happened.
The problem is that not providing demos artificially pushes up sales becauase people are buying games without knowing whether they like a game or not.
If people could return eShop games for refunds, I'm sure the end sale numbers for a heck of alot of eShop games would be completely different.
Nobody knows if they'll truely enjoy a game until they've played it, and a few minutes on a demo pretty much either sells a game or loses one.

With regards to demos, the whole point is that they're supposed to let people try before they buy. People aren't going to buy a game if they don't like what they've played in the demo. Is it really that hard to figure out.
The other thing to note is that Nintendo will only catch up with current gaming trends when the higher ups move on. By that time though gaming will have moved on again and Nintendo will still be far behind.

I can see Nintendo doing something that's going to piss off a load of people.
I remember using loads of stars on Wii shop credit when it was first introduced on the European catalouge, only for Nintendo to put the SNES classic controller on the eShop about 3 months later. At that time, if I kept my stars I would have been just shy of getting one. It took me ages to save up enough to get it. I think of how I could of had two of them, one to use and one for show.
Oh well, the one will do, sitting next to the two Japanese import famicom classic controllers.

@WWammy all WiiU discounts for the eShop are the same regardless of being on the premium or basic models.
If you decide to get Tekken, I would suggest getting a portable hard drive because it's about 16 gig in size. The basic model doesn't have enough internal memory, even the premium model will find most of it's free space lost to this one game.
Tbh though, you can pick up a used copy of Tekken Tag 2 for the same price anyway.

@readyletsgo yes it's totally worth it, that's if you like fighting games though.
The WiiU edition has Nintendo charecter themed suits for most of the fighters, plus you can customize your fighters aswell.
Plus there's mushroom battle mode which is awesome in two player mode, if you have somebody over to play against. And there's a beach ball mode that returns from one of the earlier Tekken's. Online can be a bit quiet sometimes, which is a shame.
Just don't forget to wait 'til thursday for the £7 deal.

Considering that there's way more Mario games to draw inspiration from, there shouldn't be any reason to mess up this time.
I can't see the necessity to add too many characters as it wouldn't make a coherent story if they do. Besides, having plenty to choose from could lead to sequals if the film is done right.
Thing is, they could add references to other Nintendo games too if the snuck them in as background apperances. Things like Starwing fomations flying over head, Little Mac in a fight somebody's tv, billboards with 1080 snow board gear.

I can understand one, maybe two defected toys getting into circulation over the manufacturing life span, but this is getting silly with so many being reported so close together.
Nintendo needs to get in touch with the company making the amiibo and get them to sort things out.
