dkxcalibur commented on Nintendo 64x64: Killer Instinct Gold:

I got this game on Christmas morning with our family N64. We wanted Mario 64 or even Pilot Wings but we got this game instead. I fell in love instantly and played it for hours and hours. I have been tempted to buy a Xbone just to play the new one, but the price tag is a little much for the current library.

Go Sabrewulf!

I have owned both games and love them both. It's a very unique racing experience that has not been well emulated by other series. The "floating" feeling in the controls was perfect.

This game will come out no later then November 21st. If they go a week later (November 28th), they will release on "Black Friday" in the states and we all know that they won't do that. If they go past that date, they will be in December with less then a full month until Christmas to sell their much anticipated "system seller" game and figures. If this comes out in December, it will be a missed opportunity by Nintendo for sure.

@MrMario02 True, and so is Maryland; but depending on where you live in PA, it could mean a 6+ hour drive for an opportunity to get into the event. The entire tournament is lame. If you want to find out who the best is, open it up to more people!

On a side note, I didn't know there were this many PA games on here....Keystone represent!

@Iggly Actually that's exactly what I want. I want to be able to post a little sketch of Mario fighting a metroid or Link jumping over some DK barrels. I want to be able to use the stamps that I collect in game, where ever I want. The one thing I miss about being on my 360, is the achievements. I like earning the achievements while playing and looking at everyone else's. Nintendo's stamps would be an even funner way of doing achievements.

dkxcalibur commented on Wii U Version of Watch Dogs to Miss Out on DLC:

Bayonetta 2 is coming out with the original included for free and I'm supposed to spend my money on Ubisoft's unsupported Watch Dogs game????

I've bought the last two Rayman games. They were awesome. I have also purchased a couple of the AC games in the past. However, when they delay a game that has already released on every other platform, I lose interest very quickly because I start thinking about what's wrong with the game.

I don't hate Miiverse but I also don't use it on a daily basis. I also, don't use it anywhere but my Wii U.

The one upgrade I'm always hoping for, is stamp integration outside of the game in which you collect the stamps. For instance, why can't I use my stamps that I collected in Super Mario 3D World to post something on the Mario Kart 8 board? It would be a really cool achievement system if they allowed people who collected the stamps to use them throughout Miiverse.

But who knows, maybe it's just me that would like this????

My guess is that we'll have the New 3DS in time for the holiday season in both EU and NA. I'm also going to guess that Nintendo is waiting to announce the release date because of the special edition 3DS systems that are out now or coming soon.

I never cared much for Strikers so I can't say that I'm disappointed to not see a similar game.

Why is there no Mario Baseball being planned. Baseball is popular in both NA & Japan and there isn't many baseball games on the market. I know Rusty's exist on the 3DS but I would categorize that as a party/mini game with a baseball theme. I'm talking about an arcade or simulation of baseball....or if they wanted to mix it up, how about kickball?

dkxcalibur commented on Review: Bayonetta (Wii U eShop):

I happen to think it was a great review. Also, I wish I could play this now, so I could be good to go when 2 comes out. I own a 360 and yet somehow missed out on the original so I'm pumped. My only problem is that I play games slower then the typical gamer, so if I start with B1 in late October, I may not get to B2 until well into November......and then Smash comes out! So I might not get to B2 until December.....and then Captain Toad comes out! So then I might not get to B2 until January! What a problem.

I wish I knew if I could ignore B1 for B2 and come back to B1. But then I might not want to. Again, what a problem.

@polivar4 Most likely. That's not really my thing. I've played the series before and I'm not sure adding Zelda characters is going to improve it enough for me. Who knows, maybe I'll give it a try at some point. Plus, I'm currently playing 4-5 other games right now. (Fire Emblem, Kart 8, Wind Waker, Siesta Fiesta, and Rusty's)

Too many games to play. My problem is that I don't have enough time to play everything. I know I'm getting Smash U and Captian Toad, I'm leaning towards Bayonetta 2. This Sonic game looks interesting and I'm hoping that it does well, I just don't know if it fits into my budget with all the other games I'm buying.

I got my Smash demo earlier in the week and I enjoyed it more then I thought I would but I wish they would have allowed for changes to the controls in the demo. I'm questioning if I want this game on the 3DS because I'm concerned about the controls on the hand held versus what I'm used to on the home consoles. So far I'm leaning towards not getting it because of the controls.

Just to be more clear, I'm getting Smash on the Wii U for sure. I'm questioning buying it for the 3DS though.

The comic at the top is great!

I'm not losing sleep or anything, but the Ice Climbers were my favorite characters from past Smash games. I loved their spin move, and their smash moves were really powerful. I'll miss them.

On a side note, after playing the 3DS demo more, I can honestly say that I can't wait for the Wii U version. I'll most likely pick up two copies of the 3DS version but probably more for my two sons then for me.

Wow, there's a lot of anit-American comments on here today. All Americans carry guns, and solve problems by force! Also, every American writes, votes, enforces, and agrees 100% with every law in America! All Americans agree 100% with the foreign policy too!

Also, the many many comments saying stuff like "too much or over-board" are ridiculous. Who can say that this person didn't have a weapon hidden inside the plush? Who would be dumb enough to let him nonchalantly walk around inside a secure area where the President lives? It's going to turn into a non-story because the person was most likely just trying to be a "funny guy"...ha ha; but the truth of the matter is that there will be 10 copy cats for every 1 dumb person doing stuff like this. So at some point you have to enforce stuff like this.

Some of the comments on here are about as dumb as actual person who jumped the fence.

On to the special editions, my instincts are to wait for the "new" 3DS but I still need a third 3DS for my youngest son. I wish NOA would put a date on the New 3DS.

Nintendo peripherals = A must have item to improve an existing system and future game releases, but only supported with 1-3 games.

I don't think not having it in Smash is a deal breaker though. I use the C-stick when playing older Smash titles but I know lots of people who don't.

I don't get what the big deal is. If you don't want it....don't buy it. The more games the better. There is a market for $1 games, because people don't mind dropping that amount on something they only play once or twice. My kids and I spend more money when we go to the arcade by playing 1 game for 3-5 minutes. I think it's also funny how people are judging whether or not another gamer will enjoy this title or not. I've bought indie games that look great, sound unique, but when I play them they suck. IMO, I think people are whining like babies. Don't buy it....or do, I don't care. I'm all for freedom of people developing what ever game they want, and the freedom of people to buy or not to buy those games.

@miiandmario You'll end up saving them till the end of the year because there won't be anything better. Then because your points expire, you'll log on to club Nintendo to choose the one object that wasn't too bad. But you'll see that everyone else had the same thought and now that 1 item is gone or in my case, only available in pink.....and then you'll choose either a dumb patch or poster that you'll never use. Others will tell you that you should be happy since it's better then nothing, but really it isn't because you spent your time filling out surveys that Nintendo uses to market or develop their business, and for some of us, time is valuable. But hey.....you got a dumb poster!

@ZenTurtle I disagree. I think a program similar to the digital deluxe program they currently have on the Wii U would be great. I think everyone knows that Nintendo (or any company) is not going to match dollar for dollar but having the option of downloading what you want versus picking between a few choices would be good. This would make everyone happy except for the people who prefer actual items.

I never played the original although I almost bought it a couple times. The closer this gets the more I'm thinking about picking it up. The added bonus of getting the first one free with the second is a bonus.....although, I would need to play the first before the second! How long of a game is the first?

dkxcalibur commented on Poll: Tell Us What You Think of the New Ninten...:

I'm a skeptic. As of right now, I can't justify buying yet another 3DS. We own two XLs that are not a year old. Although my youngest son is due to get a 2DS soon. I'm not losing sleep over this, but it does make me angry that I may not be able to play certain 3DS games in the future on my 3DS!!! How's that going to work? Are they going to jump on board and actually support the "New 3DS" with exclusive games , and thus abandoning the "old 3DS"? Or is the "New 3DS" getting just a few games making the reason to buy the new model unnecessary? I currently don't have any games that require the second thumb stick, but it does look cool. I enjoy playing in 3D now but some times the angle of play annoys me so the better 3D viewing sounds great. If I were to buy another system, I would probably pick up the standard instead of the XL this time around. I really like collecting street passes but the XL takes up too much space in my pocket. A standard would make carrying it everywhere easier.

I've never played this game before. I skipped over it when it was released like most of the population unfortunately. Every time I go to DL something on my Wii U, I grab something else. For some reason, I would rather play it on my 3DS. Oh well, maybe next eshop visit!

dkxcalibur commented on Siesta Fiesta Patch Goes Live in Europe:

I got Siesta Fiesta, Scram Kitty, and two more mini games on Rusty's Real Deal Baseball about two weeks ago. I love the Rusty mini games, no regrets there. I strongly dislike Scram Kitty and regret spending $5 on it. I don't care for the controls as they seem very clunky. At first I didn't know what to think about Siesta Fiesta, but the more I play, the more I enjoy it. It's currently the #1 played game in my house on the 3DS. My son has slowed down on Tomodachi Life because of it, and I've placed Fire Emblem on the back burner for now because of it. I love the "pick-up and play" feel of the game. Oh yeah, and it feels very fresh & unique.
