Update 2:

Nintendo of Europe has now tweeted release dates for the figures in the region.

Update 1:

Nintendo of America has now confirmed the range of 11 new figures for February 2015 in the region, along with an overview video that you can watch below.

Original Article:

In the not-too-distant future we'll see amiibo figures gracing store shelves, jostling with other toys from Skylanders and Disney Infinity and providing an accompaniment to Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and a select few games. The buzz is growing for the launch wave and second wave due in December, but we now know what's coming in waves 3 and 4.

The official Nintendo Japan website has listed 11 more figures on the way, with eight due on 22nd January in the country and three arriving in February 2015. You can see them below:

22nd January

Bowser
Mewtwo
Toon Link
Sheik
Ike
Meta Knight
King Dedede
Rosalina

February 2015

Shulk
Sonic
Mega Man

We'd expect Western releases to be similar, and with these figures we now have the majority of the playable Smash Bros. cast accounted for.

Let us know what you think of these new amiibo, and which ones you'd like to pick up in the West.
