@JaxonH

So I have heard, but I don't think I will go through the hassle of hunting down an old copy.

Although after hearing how right you were regarding Tropical Freeze, then I may give it a try. But getting the N64 game would be loads easier for me, as it is on VC.

I will be playing Yumi's Odd Odyssey. 8 hours in and I am halfway there. Very long and challenging, worth that $30 price tag.

I will also try to get my second badge in Pokémon X, and buying the final two games on Rusty, which would be Gear Games and Batmaster.

If I have time for Wii U, I will play Injustice and I will try to get some puzzle pieces I missed on Tropical Freeze. I also need to get Flowerworks.

I find this similar to SMB3 in NA. A highly rated game, that has been released and rereleased in several formats finally making it.

I guess it would be better if you finally get SMTIV, as there is no other format for you to play it.

I wouldn't call it marketing genius, I would call it common sense. People normally wait for prices to drop, unless they are dying to get the game. By the time the sale comes, they may not be interested in the game anymore.

This approach entices people to get it day 1, posting on Miiverse when the game is fresh and thus spreading word of mouth.

And as all things common sense, it seems that it occurs to a minority.

I can understand the whining. What I can't understand is hearing about it each and every week, as if Nintendo would be reading this and then realize that you want it and release it. People would be better off posting that on Nintendo's facebook page, so there IS a chance that the powers that be see it, and I don't have to see it.

Nice! I was hoping the demo would make it this side of the pond, although it will take a whole week for it to cross it. Must be going on boat, I guess.

Still enough time to check it and decide if I want to preorder it. I wish they had demos for more games on both of their systems.

@rjejr

I am interested in Child of Light and NES Remix 2. I guess Scram Kitty will show up in May. Haven't heard anything about it.

Last game I bought physically was DKTF, but I have been getting a lot of eShop content. Same for 3DS, where my last cart was ALBW. I like these downloadable exclusives.

Thanks for the advice. I am not a huge strategy fan (FE Awakening still unplayed), so I was leaning more towards M&L or Golden Sun.

I am not into Peggle but I appreciate how they added a color blind mode. An old wiiware game called Groovin Blocks did the same. If devs are going to make games where color is crucial to the experience, that is the least they could do.

@HeroOfCybertron

As far as I know, it can be played single player, but during the fireworks stages a second player can join you to help you feed the flowers, as can be seen in this video at 1:36

I just hope my color blindness will not affect my enjoyment of this one, as I read the Wiiware review and it seems some flowers are color coded and must be fed with the appropriate color pollen.

I hadn't noticed till now, but Ubisoft logo looks to me like a toilet flushing, seen from above.

With that said, they have my money with the upcoming Child of Light. EA, on the other hand, got my last dimes when I purchased Most Wanted U, many months ago.

I supported Hex Heroes, but it seems a bit tough that it will make it. Maybe I will increase my pledge to get a copy of Kirkhope's soundtrack.

I like to make my kickstarter contributions via Amazon, so I was turned off to see that Twisted Fusion won't allow it, presumably for using pounds instead of dollars.

Sounds great and I look forward to it, but I hope the controls are spot on and that there are several difficulty levels.

I still regret getting Cubit because the jump mechanic was very unresponsive and unreliable, while something like Runner 2 is very hard but never because of jumps failing on you, so that makes it satisfying instead of frustrating.

A ton of amazing pictures, but I had to go with Samus. I love her face, specially in the first picture and Bunny Samus.

For 3DS I love the shark picture. Yoshi is like "OMG! I eat everyone and now this thing is gonna eat me!!"

sinalefa commented on Flowerworks HD to Blossom on the Wii U eShop o...:

More developers should adopt that early bird discount thing. The natural course of action for gamers is to wait for games to lower their price, thus hurting first week/month sales figures. With a discount like this you attract more customers and word of mouth since day 1. I am supporting this.

sinalefa commented on Nintendo's Bill Trinen Discusses Localising To...:

@rjejr

This guy is Miyamoto's translator at official events, so he won't be fired anytime soon.

I know you are not a fan, but I actually liked his "acting" during this Direct. He seemed so serious while presenting such a goofy subject matter. And it is not like we see him everyday either.

I still get your point, and that is why I hated Jack Tretton and even nicknamed him Droopy. He sounded so bored during those E3 events.

Regarding this game, it seems he is right. It barely looks like a game and it is more of a TV show, where you see what happens. I will definitely pass then.

sinalefa commented on Super Smash Bros. Hitting 3DS This Summer, Wii...:

The more I think about this, the most sense it makes to me.

I always planned to get both versions, as I have both systems, but the 3DS version would have taken a backseat to the home console one, meaning I would have gotten it much later. Now I am getting the portable one day 1 to tide me over until we get the Wii U one.

And if Nintendo wants to move systems, what better time of year that during holidays? Sakurai could even get feedback from the 3DS version to improve the one on Wii U, making it, as some have said, the definitive version, making hardcore fans double dip.

You can say it is a contest, but I won't do your job for you, Capcom. :p

They could perfectly throw a MH4 3DS XL with a copy of the game in addition to have the weapon in the game, but I guess they are too cheap for that.
