Well, it was the only way I could play Luigi's Mansion, Viewtiful Joe 2, among others. And then Xenoblade, The Last Story, etc. Not to mention each and every one of my 15+ DS games.

Not including BC will mean people wont be as quick to sell their old system, hence they wont be picking the new console anytime soon. And if they are expensive you will need all the money you can get.

@Nintex

For me it was exactly like that as well, although I barely played SA2 I really liked the first one. I also hope Nintendo is giving them some support regarding development of the game instead of having crossover elements.

With that said, I haven't taken the plunge with either Colors or Generations, and I think they are on the cheap nowadays. Maybe I should pick one of those up.

sinalefa commented on Reaction: Our Thoughts on Nintendo Direct - 17...:

I guess I have been spoiled by recent ND, but I still don't feel that disappointed. I appreciated the Pikmin footage and 101 getting a release date.

The New Luigi U tears me as now I have to decide which version to get. That box looks sweet but it is coming two months later at a higher price.

And I support Morgan about having the demos to be downloaded as well. Can't we be Wii U Ambassadors to entice our friends who may not be able to go to a Best Buy? I understand the traffic thing but downloadable demos won't overshadow that. With having them after E3 is over would be enough for me.

sinalefa commented on Game & Wario Was Originally Intended As A Pre-...:

So some people are saying like "if this game was there on launch, it would have moved Wii U off the shelves" but now Nintendo can show it off on Best Buy when E3 hits, and release it a few days later, thus (hopefully) moving Wii U off the shelves. I rather have them polishing it and distributing it at stores so people can try before buying. By the holidays this will join other huge games like 3D Mario, Pikmin 3 and the Wonderful 101 if customers are still on the fence.

With that said, I don't think Nintendo is that confident about the concept. There is a reason why this is getting a discount, and I remember how everyone thought Nintendo Land was way too expensive at $60. I will get it anyway, since I love the Warioware games. Thankfully Waluigi is not part of that universe.

I got the 3D version of this one. I am not that into shooters, but it is still pretty enjoyable.

When you read things like Iwata Asks, you see this one and Space Invaders are the most played and revered games by Japanese developers, and they usually have fond memories, not to mention they helped them to choose their career.

I played this one like three years ago for the first time and I was blown away. This is one of the few games for me that really deserves the legendary status it possesses. I bought it today for 30 cents even if I already had the Wii VC version.

sinalefa commented on Review: Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D (3DS):

Well, now the people who skipped the Wii version because of the waggle controls (an overblown issue, IMHO) will have no excuse. In that way Nintendo is smart to rerelease it, but I consider the new things too small for a double dip.

Glad to hear. No game should force you to get online, with obvious exceptions like Team Fortress 2. Something I hated about Resident Evil 5 is that the AI is so dumb and useless that it technically forces you to play with another person. And for many people that means forced online.

sinalefa commented on Dylan Cuthbert of Q-Games - Nintendo and Wii U...:

Personally I stopped believing on "Killer Apps" a long time ago. Make a game appealing enough, advertise like crazy and plan a sequel.

Even though, in the current economy no one is buying a console for a single, marvelous game, and as Iwata said not long ago, it is harder to awe consumers nowadays.

Have enough great games, new IP or not, and that will slowly but surely build an install base. Nintendo is the master of the slow burn and evergreen titles approach, so I think they will do fine.

sinalefa commented on Club Nintendo Refunds Coins To Wii U Owners Wh...:

Oh, Nintendo, you are so out of touch with reality. How do you expect to make money if you keep refunding people? You should not even have Club Nintendo anyway. How come you give games for coins instead of selling them? And a yearly gift for registering many games? You are gonna lose the console wars doing things like that.

Thanks for being so awesomely old fashioned, Ninty. I think I am gonna pick that game up even if I already bought it on Wii.

sinalefa commented on Wii U Owners Shunned Again As Warner Refuses T...:

I was about to buy the Wii U version of this a few days ago, since it was cheaper than the others in Amazon. Maybe this is one of the reasons?

Still does not make sense to me if they go through the expense of publishing a game in a new console but not adding the DLC that could help them to get even more money. And I don't see the DLC being more expensive than publishing the game itself.

sinalefa commented on There's Still Plenty Of Interest In Older PokÃ...:

So this explains why these games never lower price, even after newer Pokémon games get released.

I got Black 1 and after that I got HeartGold. Which I think was a mistake, as it is faster to evolve Pokémon in Gen V. This has to do with two things: the fact that weaker Pokémon receive more exp points when they battle alongside tougher ones, and of course Audino. So I have not beaten HG but I beat Black 1 and I am slowly working through White 2. Most likely I will be picking up one of the new ones.

sinalefa commented on Capcom Has No Plans To Release Tatsunoko vs. C...:

Well, should not we have Gamecube games on the eShop before we get the Wii ones? What Capcom should be thinking of is on releasing their PSN/XBLA HD games on Wii U, like Street Fighter 3, RE4, etc.

As for this game, I got it soon after release. I really like the obscure roster, even on Capcom's side. Seeing Alex and Batsu again was awesome.

sinalefa commented on EA Not Kicking Out Any Details On A FIFA 14 Re...:

Well, I am pretty sure FIFA 15 will give players everything 14 had, so just be a little patient!

If Konami gets PES released, then they will be taking the whole market for soccer games on Nintendo consoles.

Finally, I don't support the "help this dinosaur developer by buying their games" thing. They clearly didn't listen to fans or cared about them when they released that crappy FIFA reskin, so who cares about how much support I give them? They will just keep releasing lazy stuff since we will gladly buy it to support them. And if they don't support the Wii U because we don't buy their lazy stuff, then why should WE be blamed?

It is not that the fans make better Megaman games than Capcom itself. It is that the fans make Megaman games while Capcom does not.

I guess they will keep supporting these efforts, as it gives the fans what they want, they are cheaper to make and have a lot more soul than they could hope to pour, specially now that Inafune is gone.

Never played this one, and I let it slip twice when I saw it in two garage sales.

Guess Fate had me oblivious so I could enjoy it now that it is being remade in HD. I just hope the hype and the cult status are justified, as I heard wonders about Shadow of the Colossus that I don't share now that I played it. Thankfully this is a Zelda game, so I doubt it will be the same scenario.

"In a welcome change from the Super Mario Bros. games, each world's Koopaling boss puts up a unique fight;"

This is the only part of the review I disagree with, as the second batch of Koopaling fights (Roy onwards) it is just a reworking of the first three, with a few extra obstacles. Still, for me that does not diminish this game from the 10 it so rightfully deserves. Definitely my favorite 2D Mario game.

Thankfully you only work with three different enough colors, so that help us color blind not to get unnecessarily confused or frustrated.

sinalefa commented on Shin'en Multimedia Announces Spring eShop Sale...:

I think I will get one for each of my systems, so Nano for Wii U and Art of Balance for 3DS. That will leave my Wii U account with a whopping 2 cents (since I got Mighty Switch Force off of a $20 card) and in dire need of another recharge for Runner 2.

I do agree with @AG_Awesome, it would not hurt to list all of the games, their systems and prices. Shin'en would definitely appreciate it as well.

sinalefa commented on Nintendo Discounts More 3DS eShop Titles in No...:

So it takes me almost two years to get Pushmo, I buy it and a week later they announce a discount? You gotta be kidding me. That is what I am playing right now.

And of course, since I haven't bought Sakura Samurai, that is not getting a discount. May get Fluidity, as I enjoyed the wiiware one, even if I could never get past the final level.

sinalefa commented on Game & Wario to Retail at $39.99 in the U.S.:

I would not pay $60 for this one, but $40 makes it a lot more appealing. I just hope it is not boring as hell if you don't have anyone around. I don't have friends coming that often so I would not play it that much.

And of course it is hard to judge a game you have not even played. And if you judge from looks alone, then you are judging a book by its cover, not a wise thing to do.

sinalefa commented on Satoru Iwata: First Party Wii U Game Delays Ar...:

It is hard to promise a solid release date because so many new challenges may arise during development, and most of the time Nintendo seems to make the most of their games.

But they have to offer some release dates, so people won't be like "at least tell us when it is coming! I can't stand it!!" even if they will be later like "why did you delay it? It is taking forever. I can't stand it!!"

I am lucky enough to own several consoles, so I can juggle them. I am currently playing two games that were delayed and that got great reviews: Bioshock Infinite and Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon. I love to have those delays if they mean the product will be amazing.

I haven't gotten the app, and reading this I don't even want to.

So are you saying that we are still forced to play the same three levels as the demo, over and over with different challenges? Not even a new stage? That surely feels like another bad joke from Ubisoft.

That could help me to upgrade from my Ambassador Cosmo Black 3DS.

Actually, I would keep that one and add this 3DS XL if it is nice looking and it gets released outside of Japan. You need two systems to transfer mons anyway. I would love to see it in a bundle, with X or Y preinstalled.

I love these interviews. I took the game to a friend's home yesterday, as he was interested in buying it, and he sure had a hard time putting the controller down when I had to leave. Did not lend it to him since I preferred he went ahead and supported this great game with his money.

If i get this game, the reason is the casual mode. Great reviews dont hurt either.

The classic option is still there, so they are not dumbing down the core game. I hope more franchisesand companies do the same to include more players, so more people support good games like this
