@Expa0 I'm kinda hoping this is one reason they've been priming us on Gameshare for so long and so consistently "you can gameshare on Switch 2 or Switch 1 family of systems" maybe they don't need to sell most families anything if they've got a couple Switch Lites kickin' around in the couch cushions.

Wow, Switch 1 version holds up surprisingly well. I'm not playing ZA, holding out for a true open world Legends game, one that doesn't take place completely in one area. Still, pretty nice that the company known for abysmal Switch 1 framerates actually pulled through on their Switch 1 swansong.

This looks fun ahh. I'm gonna have to see if the price is right when it comes out or especially if it goes on sale.

I remember around this time in the 3DS's life I was like "man, I'm tired of flying around and playing as a submarine. Just give me a game where I can go on an adventure." So I literally bought Lego Pirates because I was tired of waiting for Zelda. I hope to never feel that again and I'm pretty pleased with S2's lineup so far.

This may be my first Assassin's Creed since AC4. I feel like it fell off a bit at Unity and Rogue, but I hear these newer ones are alright if not a bit bloated.

From what I read, the term "new" implies how many games do I remove the shrink-wrap on, or how many digital games do I pay full price for at launch? Yeah, that number has definitely gone down for me recently.

Because when you hand a controller to a friend, you may not want them accidentally (or maliciously) opening the home menu every few minutes or taking a million pictures to be funny

@Ooyah The order you play them in doesn't matter, each game is a different character's "personal hell." Perhaps the one game I'd play after the first is Silent Hill 3 since it concerns a character in the first game and her own personal traumas, otherwise the characters don't really know each other or interact in any sequential way.

I was just thinking about this game while playing Silent Hill f. I would definitely be willing to double dip for a Switch 2 release. It was so good.

@FishyS Strange- I just completed Klonoa on Switch 2 and seemingly had no issues with it. I'm curious what's happening when you play it?

5 years ago we were thinking "man, we're really in need of some good 3D platformers" but nowadays we're eatin' good.

Not surprised, though I do want them to keep making original experiences. I'm extremely excited to check out their Silent Hill 1 remake, hopefully they can take on a brand new Silent Hill because if anyone can, it's the folks who somehow didn't mess up Silent Hill 2.

It may sound stupid, but my sister and I played Mario Galaxy by passing the controller after each death, so this mode gave the inactive player something to do and keep them engaged. I thought it was a cute li'l addition

Still really cool that this game is handheld. We spent 8 years on Switch 1, it's weird how I've watched this fandom suddenly become frame-counters. It makes me feel like we've truly plateau'd in terms of video game improvements. We knew going into this gen that S2 was going to be like a portable PS4 Pro, this is a PS5 generation game. The drop in performance makes sense.

It.... looks like Yakuza. I'm... definitely going to play it.

I played a bit on PS5, I already know it's for me I just need to commit. I can usually finish longer RPGs on handheld easier than TV.

I am stoked for the return of this series. I've tried a few Layton-likes but nothing scratches my brain-teaser-itch in quite the same way. I still have a couple games to work through though, so they can take their time.

I still want to play Village but I don't have PSVR2 yet and RE7 was one of the most unforgettable VR experiences I've ever had. I almost hope there is no VR mode for Requiem so I can play it on Switch 2 without the FOMO.

Yayyyy I've been on the verge of buying this for the PS2 but it's such a pain to keep hooking up old consoles. Now I'm set.

I bought it on launch day but I've been busy catching up with the two Yakuza games on Switch 2 as well as DK. Just yesterday though my roomies and I finally took a stab at playing it together and we love it so far. (My roommate said she thought we were playing on PS5 and she was surprised when I undocked my Switch)

Oh man, when this comes out it's going to be difficult to put down my other favorite game, Donuki Diddy. When am I ever going to finish Metoroidu Ridley? My life will be incomplete if I don't have time to play Zeruda Tingle!

Wowww! I just finished Yakuza 0 and Kiwami 1 so I guess I am very ready to make this the year I finally play Yakuza. I'm dreading the turn-based ones so I may give those a miss... We'll see.

I will always respect the dedication to releasing a competent product. Of course, I was going to wait on this game anyway, so I feel for the people who were hotly anticipating this.

Which console I purchase it on depends entirely on if the PS5 version will support VR. Simple as that.

I tried to finish this game, I really did... I've worked my way through lots of bad games and sometimes even enjoyed the experience. The Touryst was not abysmal, but a vapid experience and the good parts were giving me nothing that I felt was worth the stress. Sorry.

@AltCode It kinda makes sense. It's like "halloween" horror as opposed to "Ahhhh" horror. More Luigi's Mansion than Resident Evil 7.

This looks sick! I am working my way through all the FPS games that defined the genre, so Wolfenstein, Doom, Duke Nukem, and I'm on Quake rn. This seems like a perfect companion title like Dusk. So pumped!

I'm all for accessibility cuz sometimes you just get really tired of redundant battles or sudden difficulty spikes but you're too far in to give up on it (looking at you, Control). Sometimes you're too busy in adult life to obsess over a boss fight.

I will agree on this only as long as Nintendo plans to treat our digital games the way Steam does. If I bought a game on steam in my childhood, I can still download and play that game no problem today. However, it remains to be seen id all our Switch 1 games will still be there when we pick up a Switch 3 in several years.

This sounds awesome! I hope it supports the stereoscopic 3D because that would be a kicker to check out.

I think I'll be getting the cartridge because I want a cart copy of SMG2. Only other copy I have is on WiiU on a rickety external hard drive, so I want to get a more secure package that's future-proofed a bit.
