Re: Feature: "Stop Tagging Us About Bubsy!" - Fabraz On Being Bullied Into Reviving A Maligned Mascot

Yeesh, there's a lot of distaste for this project here. I'll throw in some love. I played Demon Turf last year, so when I saw Kyle Bosman introducing the Bubsy 4D trailer, I knew seeing Fabraz's name was a pop-off moment. It's not just a new Bubsy game, it's a new Fabraz game and that is something to relish. Very excited to get around to playing both Demon Tides and Bubsy 4D.

I love the fact that this film left the pop music montages behind to make room for the re-orchestrated Mario music. This was the #1 thing I was worried about going into it, and more worried when I saw the Yoshi backstory scene (Which was admittedly cute). Seeing the music that was cut from the first movie in favor of 80s tracks, I couldn't be happier that it was all original music from then on.

Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give The Super Mario Galaxy Movie?

I enjoyed it, I was very appreciative that they held off on the pop songs this time. I know someone was squirming in their seat during the editing process like "please can we put "Africa" by Toto here?" But I'm so glad they embraced the Mario orchestrations instead. I wish they would have had more faith in some of their plotlines, some were just dropped out of nowhere and never concluded, but I chose 7/10 because I felt like a proud parent watching it. Just a fun time.

Re: Feature: Where The Heck Do You Start If You've Never Played Resident Evil?

So far I've completed RE Remake, Revelations, RE4 Remake, RE5, RE7 Biohazard, currently working on RE2 Remake and RE Village.
I kinda see them the same way I see the Zelda timeline- play them in whatever order you want then watch videos tying the stories together on youtube. This way you can have a handy recap of those stories and reminisce.
Also, a tip for RE1, from someone who spent her entire childhood trying and failing to complete the puzzle box of a mansion, if you want to just get through the game use a guide to help you. Not a video, but a text walkthrough.

@molkom I've also played. After maybe 4 hours of play I feel like I got the full experience. The gameplay loop is good for when you're watching something in the background, but it gets monotonous quickly. It has a lot of detail in how you set up the outfits but I really kinda wished this were a Style Savvy game instead.

Re: Gallery: Check Out These Close-Up Shots Of The Resident Evil Switch 2 Controller

Awww it's so cute. It reminds me a little of the Switch 1 Pro Controller in terms of general look. I picked it up because I noticed some imperfections on my original pro controller 2, my partner and I always have to rock-paper-scissors over who gets "The soft controller" as they call it, and I feel this controller might be difficult to find in the far future (I already saw scalpers jacking the price of a preorder up to 130 the day before it released and I'd prefer to regret buying it than regret not buying it later on)

@BlaizeV Totally understand the uncanny valley thing. I played Life is Strange Double Exposure (PS5) recently and anytime a character would smile I wanted them to stop.
Played a good amount of RE9 yesterday and the city scenes blew me away. I played the other recent games on Playstation and, given that there's no VR this time around I didn't feel like I was getting a gimped version like last generation.
