Tbh I own a PS5 and like 90% of the games I've loved on that console are also on PS4, just with nicer reflections and an abundance of particle effects. I'm super okay with PS4-adjacent power.

For a sec I saw the thumbnail and thought my "pegasister" days may be catching up to me lmao. That bond is locked in-those neural pathways are set in stone.

I recently started playing this game, and I'm starting to feel like the puzzles are almost like more contextualized Professor Layton puzzles. A very difficult game, but I am determined to complete it.

Can I tell them the games are getting too long and bloated and no longer can I commit one of my less-than-hundred years on this earth to an (admittedly great) single game?

Idk where else to put this, but I'm calling it now-Mario Kart 9 isn't going to be named Mario Kart 9. Nintendo has always changed the MK names generationally. Double Dash and Super Circuit, MKDS and MKWii, MK7 and MK8. The cycle is up, now each entry will have distinct naming conventions.

I just started P3P, and am greatly appreciating being able to play a female protag. So many games force me into the shoes of some living sandpaper who looks like he'd probably call me slurs. Gonna really miss her when I play the others.

I'm still interested in PO'ed. DOOM clones were a dime a dozen, but they went away for a while so it's always fun to see that meta-genre making a resurgence

I need to really push myself to complete this game. Tried it on PS3 and didn't get very far, as the long run time scared me. Nowadays I've worked my way through some pretty long games so I think I'm up to the task.

Personally the industry needs a break from Soulsborne games more than it needs a break from HD-2D

Yikes. Not a good look for Ninja, Pokimane, even Jeff McKeelie for supporting this game. This is entirely tonedeaf alongside his addressing the massive layoffs in the space. Hope there's some sort of statement but like... doesn't reflect well.

I love games based on real life locations, especially those of mystique such as Chernobyl. Maybe I'll have to get this on PS, as it interests me quite a bit.

@KoopaTheGamer Here's a solid time to drop the fact that Cave Story was free when it first released on PC, and I just played Celeste's Pico-8 demake for free online. Though you're right in that finding a great free game is like a diamond in the rough.

I'm still excited about my current consoles, not in any particular hurry for them to release a successor. They can take their time.

I cry for the workers, but rejoice for the ones who go on to work on titles they are actually passionate about.

This art style translated so well to HD!! IT LOOKS SCRUMPTIOUS! however, I am definitely sad they had to choose a theme with so few colors, as PL does colors like pastels particularly well. Minor nitpick though, and it does look unlike so many games nowadays that I can take it.

I probably won't play this game, as I'm not much of an rpg girl. However, shoutout to Steins:Gate Elite on switch for being a aolid time travel story I experienced on Switch this year.

Why does this really matter to the average gamer? I know Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 isn't gonna get nominated for an award this year but that isn't gonna stop me from having fun and spending another 50 hours on it next year.

Hell yea, I hope they are boosted like PS4-PS5 B-C. I'm excited that my roommates and I can play three-player multiplayer using our old switches. Now, to find more games that allow three players.

I'm waiting on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. trilogy and M&L but for now just working thru my backlog.

I played RE1R last year with a walkthrough, it was still surprisingly fun, esp as someone who played the Wii version as a kid and didn't get past the mansion, super fun seeing all the different locales. Highly recommend.

Off topic-this year it's Silent Hill 2 remake and I'm so glad Konami has finally done something SO right.
