@The_Nintend_Pedant Can I ask bluntly if you've played the Switch 2? I can tell you I was pretty disappointed with what they announced back then until I experienced it myself at the S2 event. Playing MK World and Metroid Prime 4 sold me the console.
@Lizuka Like @PolitiClank mentioned, B2 is likely cheaper and I think it's even bundled with B1. If you haven't played B3, that's a full priced game. You can save on that one. Gameplay is just as good as #2 if not better imo.
I tried Tour years back on someone's phone and found the gameplay not to my taste - like most mobile games. So I won't be trying this course. Luckily I'm enjoying World a lot these days, despite being so very unfair, especially Knockout Tour!
Asking 15 EUR for this is ... daring, to say the least. And what .. three years in the making 😵 But I haven't played it, just watched the trailer. Who knows it's full of creativity and originality.

And instead of spending time making their own videogame exactly how they'd like it to be, investing in marketing campaigns to gather players and create communities to make their game popular, some childish people are wasting their time with such opinions and petitions. The companies who make these games are businesses who do this for profit, they're not charity organizations. And demanding that such games should be made available whatever ways they are not made for is, again imo, absolutely childish. That they got an answer is actually really nice of Nintendo, Sega and co. ... addressing the children saying "come on now, be reasonable, let me explain how the world really works".
Demanding more laws and regulations from useless politicians, that's another childish thing to do imo.

First time I read about this petition and it's been signed by over one million gamers? Wow! I usually don't read terms and conditions but I can only imagine that for those online games T&Cs clearly detail that the game will only be provided for however long the company wants to. And whenever they pull the plug it's over. Now if you want to play those games in the first place, and furthermore throw money at them, well ... you know who you are XD What a childish representation of gamers worlwide, I can't be surprised it's lead by a youtuber.
Having such a negative impact on their surroundings tells me to avoid giving money to MS as much as possible. Don't we all live on the same planet?? At the end of the day what happens when you're super rich, all alone and nobody left to play with ... what's the point 😵 What a sad bunch over there.

The video does a good job at summarizing the game, and I'm surprised I watched all 8 mins of it. Still I feel like it's nothing for me. I really don't like the choice of colours, and the whole destruction gameplay. Music is a banger though.
Let me repeat this here in case some sharholders are wondering. I buy most of my games in a proper physical format. I'm not buying game-key cards or code-in-a-box. If a game is only available digitally and takes too much space, I'm not buying it. I've already skipped a bunch of games on Switch and I have a huge backlog. In 2025 you can't make an effort for your customers? I won't play your game. To each their own.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity: I've got two missions left in Apocalyptic mode which are The Siege of Fort Hateno and Survival of the Fittest. Before I go for these, I want to bring all my weapons to level 30 and I'm missing a Sheikah slate for Zelda and a soup ladle for Link, so I'm replaying through some missions to collect weapons for fusing.
Tetris 99: participating in the Maximus Cup even though I already have the 4 themes that are up for grabs. This game is so chill compared to how competitive Effect can get.

Mario Kart World: still going for gold + 3 stars in all the cups. Man this game is still as unfair as it's always been! XD
I got a 256 Gb for now and have no plans on downloading big games. My idea is that if these don't come on a card, I just don't get them. With the next (or next next) Switch 2 revision or inevitable collector's edition, I'll look for a bigger SD then. I'd like a brand that is certified by Nintendo though.

Mouse controls felt extremely satisfying in MP4, but in this one there was an input lag ... maybe just requires some time to get used to but it was obviously noticeable unfortunately.
Haven't had a chance to give this one a go yet, but it's there just asking to be played! Really cool there will be more circuits and an even better-looking mode when I get to it!
Age of Calamity: doing the vicious monsters and side quests level 81+ in Apocalyptic difficulty. I've skipped the Fort Hateno mission for now, I remember just how tight it was already in Very Hard. I think this will be my final challenge.
Mario Kart World: going for 3 stars in 150cc. Love the music, but somehow not a fan that they "re-assigned" old tunes to tracks, I thought they were playing randomly across the circuits. Still having a lot of fun with the game.

I'm fine with having one SD card in the system, but not multiple. If I get a Switch 2 upgrade or collector edition down the line, that will be 2 SD cards, but that's it. Archiving and re-downloading games is not something I want to bother with. I'm OK with downloading some of my games, but most of them I need physically.
I bought MK World, Welcome Tour and Fast Fusion digitally. Only Cyberpunk physically. I would have gotten Hitman but key card is a big no and it's too big to use up all my SD Express card.

I loved many things in Nier Automata, but the gameplay was a bit too RPG for my taste. I guess I'll have to watch a video or two before I buy the physical when and if it comes. Better I adjust my expectations ... Bayonetta is one of the best games I've ever played, so maybe that's setting the bar a bit too high to start with 😅
@Alex79uk LRG made a physical of Blood Money Reprisal, and WoA is just under the 64 Gb ... so who knows. If they don't, it's their loss, I've got enough other games to play.
The only thing I've heard about this game is that it's a sort of "spiritual successor" to Bayonetta ... I'd buy it with my eyes closed day one if it comes in a proper physical game card.

@JohnnyMind Ah, ok. So the retailer's supplier sold pre-orders that they didn't have guaranteed. Too bad. And of course they can get you the bundle but not the console itself ... Having Mario Kart digitally is something I needed despite usually getting my games physically, as it's a game I play in between others and I enjoy coming back to it a lot, so it's handy not having to switch cards all the time. But anyways, I'm sure you will enjoy both your Switch 2 and MK World even more when you'll finally get them, due to the longer wait. I love my Switch 2 and MK World is super fun. I think you also never got the OLED, so it will be an even bigger leap for you.

Is the Congo game also on NSO? I played the other two again and see no point in a digital release. Why not make them into a physical edition? Save states and rewind are not new features btw.

Is the Congo game also on NSO? I played the other two again and see no point in a digital release. Why not make them into a physical edition? Save states and rewind are not new features btw.

Playing Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, doing the side quests level 61+ in Apocalyptic mode. It's very challenging to say the least.
Participating in the weekend ritual + full moon @ Tetris Effect Connected.
Discovering the new Mario Kart World. So far I really enjoy it. Just the fading out and switch of music tracks during races feels really off so far, need to get used to that.
