Re: Reminder: Pokémon Legends: Z-A Switch 2 Hardware Bundle Now Available

Yalloo

I'm not getting this bundle, I already have that exact same Switch 2 and I don't play Pokemon games. I did pre-order the physical edition for my kid, which should arrive in the mail later today. Hope she will enjoy it.
Getting the MKW bundle made sense since MK is a game I can play in between other games, so it's handy to have it downloaded. A game like Pokemon on the other hand, if I would play it, would be better to own physically.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (11th October)

Yalloo

I am playing Tails of Iron, which I'm nicely getting used to, the pace, the combat.. Beautiful art direction btw, love the looks!

I will participate in the weekend ritual @ Tetris Effect Connected and hope to get this week's event avatar. Shoutout to @D-Star92 for reaching #1 last Sunday!!

I'm also going for 1st rank in all cups of the Championship in Hypersonic league @ Fast Fusion.

And I'll play some rounds of Krimson in between.

Happy gaming! ✌🏻🧡🎮

Re: Poll: How Many New Games Do You Buy In A Year?

Yalloo

I have over 120 Switch games and just the 5 Switch 2 games, most of them physical. I usually pre-order these at whatever price they're asking. The digital ones I almost always wait for a good discount (min 50% off).
Just today I've pre-ordered Yooka Replaylee and Worldless (LRG). I'm definitely one of the 12+, over here in Europe.

Re: Review: Little Nightmares III (Switch 2) - A Missed Opportunity For Couch Co-op That Plays It A Little Too Safe

Yalloo

I've got this pre-ordered for my Switch, and low expectations to go with it. There was some really good moments and certainly a unique atmosphere in the previous games, but it's quite far from a mind-blowing experience, imo. Not a surprise that this third entry gets a 6, that's what I'm used to with these games. They're fun, but it's good that they keep things short.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (4th October)

@Umbrius Funny, I also finished Nikoderiko during the week. And I can tell you that the final "final" battle only gets you to 101%, and I'm still missing the equivalent of playing through the game three times to get all the unlockables. What a disappointment! Hope that you had more fun with it than I did...

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (4th October)

My games for the weekend:

Fast Fusion: playing the championship mode in supersonic league.

Tails of Iron: just started this one.

Krimson: reached circle 2.

Tetris Effect Connected: participating in yet another weekend ritual. Hope we achieve the community goal this time.

Majogami: if I find the time I want to give the demo a try.

Happy gaming!! ✌🏻🧡🎮

Re: "I Feel A Great Responsibility To Get It Right" - Naoki Hamaguchi On The Pressure Of Remaking Final Fantasy VII

Yalloo

@hisownsidekick Thanks! So they're making a remake in three parts. Part one is already out, part two is coming and there will be a conclusion coming in the future as well.
Is there lots more new content since it will be a total of 3 games, and the original was just the one game? Are they incorporating all sorts of side stories or just developing the main story arcs ..?

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (27th September)

Yalloo

@D-Star92 Hope you'll feel better soon and that games will be a good distraction in the meantime.
Just coming back from work and noticed that we didn't reach the community goal @ Tetris Effect Connected this weekend. I never saw this before. I even ended #13 which is a sign that not many people were playing. Have you ever seen that before?

@MeloMan May I ask how is Berserk Boy doing in your hands? Just received my physical copy and it will probably sit in the backlog for a while before I start it, but I was curious which game(s) it mostly reminds you of.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (27th September)

@Zuljaras Thanks for sharing your beautiful creations and lovely physical editions, always makes this feature so much more lively.
Love the little details in the currency laying on the ground in the HK statuette! And the colours are spot on! Have fun with the game 🧡🎮

@Ooyah I always enjoy reading your messages which come accross as so positive! They also tell me that you're enjoying all of your systems like nobody else, so if you're not worth it, then most of us here also aren't ... and I'm sure I am too XD Game on!!

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (27th September)

Yalloo

This week I've played through Arranger, A Role-Puzzling Adventure and Rocket Knight Adventures: Re-Sparked!. Both were short and sweet.

I'm now playing through Nikoderiko, starting world 3.
Game looks nice but it's definitely meant for younger audiences. Loading times are incredibly long and the game installed a 5.5 Gb update while it's listed as 6.9 Gb on the eShop ... taking so long to release a physical edition was a bad joke imo.
Other than that it's a copy pasted version of a mix of DKC Return / Crash Bandicoot / Rayman, and a pretty obvious one at that.
But again, looks good, sounds nice, runs well.

I will also participate in the weekly ritual @ Tetris Effect Connected. Need that event avatar!

I want to wrap up a couple of P-Switch missions in MK World then move on to Fast Fusion.

I think I'll have a first look at Krimson as well somewhere in between. I've been in need of my rythm game fix lately.

Happy gaming!! ✌🏻🧡🎮

Re: Game-Key Cards A "Sales Strategy Decision", Says Resident Evil Requiem Director

Yalloo

Adding to all the lovely comments above mine ... I feel insulted as a games collector. "So you like gifts? .. Here's an empty box, oh it's got shiny paper and ribbons ... but nothing in it".
That's atop demanding for me to buy the game's actual indispensable storage space. Or spend my time archiving/re-downloading.

Whatever the reasons they're coming up with, I still find it a poor decision from Nintendo to have initiated this without an alternative.

Re: Retro-Styled Isometric Puzzler 'Lumo 2' Dimension-Shifts Its Way Onto Switch This October

Yalloo

Ah yes, I came accross this one by accident while pre-ordering MP4 and HW3, so I pre-ordered it as well.
I remember having a good time with the first one in the early days of the OG Switch. Nothing mind blowing but was fun for sure. This one seems more varied, it will be a nice palate cleanser! Also nice to see it highlighted on NL.

@Bunkerneath Probably one of the few games I didn't 100%, but I did complete it and that was enough.

Re: Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 Switch Comparison Video Makes Nintendo's Upgrades Clearer

Yalloo

@NotASockPuppet Are you jealous and / or frustrated ..? That's really too bad for you. You might want to find a solution to that. You're wasting your time with such negative feelings, while there are so many nice and positive things to do and engage in. There are also lots of free games and apps, so why bother with these that you consider overpriced?

Let me add that I embrace being a consumer. Videogames is one of my most cherished hobbies. Imagine a world where there is nothing to do or buy or participate in ... ? How sad would that be! Those two games will be discounted at some point if that's your only problem. They could have been priced cheaper? Sure! And ...?

Re: Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 Switch Comparison Video Makes Nintendo's Upgrades Clearer

Yalloo

Complaining is a healthy activity to engage in, and it's free. I've pre-ordered this, will happily add those amazing games to my physical collection and will play them at least one more time on one of my Switch ...

After you're gone most of your belongings will go to the trash and most of your money will go to your government. Enjoy whatever you can when you still can. That the games cost 10/20 CURR more or less ... that's a first world problem. Be happy you can afford your roof, clothes and food. Anything else is pure bonus.

Re: "It Was A Bit Of A Perplexing Experience" - Hideki Kamiya On The Fan Reaction To Bayonetta 3

Yalloo

I'm currently playing through the game again, which I love. Gameplay is one step ahead of the previous games and that's all that matters. Story is nonsensical, just like the first two were. Enemies could have had a different design but yeah ... what else is new. I really don't like playing as Viola and hate the character but I already never liked Luka either ...

I'd love if they released a game only with combat challenges like the Witch Trials and I'm still hoping that this is what they're cooking for the anniversary celebrations ... no need for a story and cut scenes ...

Sometimes reading about Kamiya's thoughts I can't help but think that he has no idea what he's doing ... talking about a sequel ... of course fans are going to have expectations all over the place. And what he brought to the table in regards to the story of B3 was quite the bomb (good or bad) ... just love to know where he thought he was going with it with the trilogies he had in mind...

Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Getting Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 For Switch?

Yalloo

Everything is getting more expensive. Just bought concert tickets to see a band I've seen everytime they came over, and the tickets are each time more expensive.

I love the Galaxy games and have pre-ordered the physical as soon as I saw it was possible. I don't even know how much they're charging me for it. I'll get the Mario Amiibo for sure and likely the Rosalina one too for my daughter.

I feel for people on a budget, but I've been there, so I'm really glad I now have the luxury not to have to bother with this for the few little things I like and care about.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (13th September)

Yalloo

Going to participate in the weekly ritual @ Tetris Effect Connected, as usual. I need more points to unlock the last Guardian Avatar so I'll do some games of Full Moon as well.

Looking for 3 more P-switch missions to complete before I take a break from Mario Kart World. I'm at 90 hours, which means an average of 1h per day since S2 launched. I've had my fun, and would like to keep 100 missions to play while in the online lobbies when I'll be getting back into the game.

I've managed to Platinum all the chapters with Jeanne and Viola in hard mode @ Bayonetta 3, so now I'm enjoying playing with my favourite character again!

Happy gaming!! ✌🏻🧡🎮

Re: Nintendo Direct September 2025: Every Announcement, Game Reveal, Trailer

Yalloo

To be fair, I judged this one as "good", I did have a good time half watching it while busy with other things.

The trailer for MP4 looked bad, and the open world and biking was a big surprise to say the least. I played the demo and loved it so I'm happy it's coming soon and will pre-order nonetheless.

HW AoI, also really happy it's coming so soon and looks really good (for a HW game) but still ... where is my Link??

Next to that the new Yoshi game looks gorgeous but I need to know that it will be more challenging than CW and there will be several music tracks this time around ..

SMG are my favourite 3D Mario games, so I will love playing them again on my Switch, they're worth every penny.

I enjoyed SMBW too but a multiplayer DLC is nothing for me unfortunately.

Enough news in any way. Just too bad there is no Super Mario 40 or something similar, it would have been so easy and 35 was so fun. For the rest, I'm already building hundreds of hours of backlog on S2, and that's all that matters.

Also happy with some of the new Amiibos coming. Too bad still no Bayonetta 3 & HW Amiibo's and no Bayonetta announcements either.

Loved reading through most of the comments here. 🧡🎮
