I won't be buying anything upfront/pre-order next gen anymore. What a middle finger to the early adopters... You can as well put the remake on a GKC if you want my opinion ... 😵😵‍💫😮‍💨

I will participate in Tetris Effect's weekend ritual, unlock more badges in ARMS, and try to grab some more Perfects in Rhythm Paradise Groove.

I got a notification that this was going to be a "live" direct and got curious about it but didn't watch. I was at work, and I've never played a FE game, just not into strategy/RPG.

On the other hand I did listen to the 10 tracks or so on Nintendo Music, and was amazed at the quality and all the different genres that ended up mixed together. Result sounds really good.

Little gaming time this weekend for me. I'm playing:

Bubsy 4D - cleared world one
Rythm Paradise Groove - collecting all the Perfects
Tetris Effect: Connected - Participating in the weekend ritual

I'm on my second playthrough of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind, maxing out all the rangers and clearing the remaining challenges.

In between games of Rhythm Paradise Groove and ARMS.

I've double checked that I've got all of the themes unlocked in Tetris 99, and will participate in the weekend ritual in Tetris Effect: Connected.

From today, we're hosting the World Pride for two weeks here in Amsterdam. How beautiful is that! Happy everything to you all 🧡🎮✌🏻

@VoidofLight Will be nice to get more of such games. But reading about the combat in Stellar Blade tells me it is nothing like NieR Automata ..

@Indielink Ok, thanks for your feedback. From experience, I enjoy much less games with poorly designed maps/no maps ... but maybe this one, being designed purposedly around this, could be different?

Yeah .. I have no intention/interest in watching this, but always curious about NL's highlights. I'd say it's a big miss not to mention the availability of the video in the sub-headline, once you've clicked on the article you're welcomed by a big black "This video is not available". Here come all the comments on how this is click-bait again ...

I'm really glad they reached such a milestone with their game. I had a blast playing it for 150h "or more".

However, saying that it "looks and runs like a dream" on Switch 2 is far from reality. The game does run well and does look quite good though.

@idkmyname I think the more variety the better ... but in all honesty what I think this really means is that the overall volumes of weekly physical sales are simply peanuts.

I'm not curious about these charts anymore since it includes neither the actual volumes nor the value. And that's too bad too!

Yeah, I'd say their expectations were simply too high.

I haven't played it yet but I did get the physical edition of Shinobi (that needs an install of 4.5 Gb btw). Looking forward to it. Sonic on the other hand just doesn't speak to me.

Ouh yeah, I've been hearing so many good things about this game, and it's physical! I am pre-ordering as soon as I can find it!!

Like everybody keeps saying ... 3rd party support on Switch 2 is crazy! Wish more of them would get the proper physical treatment, but I'm fine waiting for LRG, SRG, FG, and the lot.

Definitely interested in some motion control fun, especially tennis and boxing. Just hope it's closer to the first two games, not the last two.

@Max_the_German Funny you would mention Animal Well. I also played it recently (also got the physical from LRG) and was likewise disappointed. I found it way more cryptic than necessary, which in the end gave me the feeling of never being satisfied or rewarded. And the lack of music was a big miss imo. I thought the graphical style was quite good and there was some great game mechanics but overall I found it mostly disappointing. I don't think I'll play it ever again and I judge that I've paid too much for it, compared to the enjoyment I got of it.

On the other hand I'm playing Cyber Shadow atm, which I bought the deluxe edition since the regular physical was no longer available, and I already had more than my money's worth with this one.

So yeah, not all games are equal ...
I've enjoyed Hollow Knight so very much that I'm sure I will have a great time with Silksong too. But you know the saying ... Take the risk, or lose the chance 😉

@inenai Look, we can argue about this, and you can pretend that you don't get my point... in your specific example, indeed it doesn't make sense.

Now, I use my devices as much as I can, and despite that, I will have a new one before the battery needs replacing. With new functionalities, with better screens, sound, ... So being able to change the battery is not something I see a point in. Good for you if you do. Keep in mind we live different lives and have different needs.

My point was (and is): making half baked laws like this is pointless and more of a burden than anything else.

Why not go all the way and force the reuse and recycling of batteries then? I'd consider this a valuable initiative. The one forced here by Europe, is, again only in my humble opinion and based on my own usage, just a sad political move that is not necessary and will create more waste.

@Jeronan You're right! I imagine/hope few people had that issue the first years.

I meant seven years till the resolution of the claim ... and in the US they gave up after "only" 5 years.

I did get joycons drifting and got them replaced/repaired for free. I also got other issues and also free replacement/repair. So I can't complain. But I do imagine the hassle for parents/people with only one pair of joycons.

As much as that's a win for consumer rights (despite taking 7 years to reach resolution ...), Nintendo did replace defective joycons and controllers for free.
I still have a hard time understanding how the joy-con drift came about and how it lasted for so long.

Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion is my new main, but aside from the music, nothing impresses me much so far. I'm only a couple of hours in, so let's see.

I've started a new save in Cyber Shadow, hopefully I can unlock some more feats.

Thanks to @Stockpot, I will be able to finish up #3 in Monument Valley: The Trilogy. Now in the postgame.
