This weekend will definitely be more Star Ocean The Second Story R. I'm 26 hours in and honestly I think this is my favorite game from this year. I'll also be doing some Splatoon 3 for the splatfest!

Bowser's Inside Story is still to this day one of my favorite games of all time and I think it's the game I've played through the most. I don't remember how many times I played it but I did a 100% completion playthrough twice which is something I never did for any other game

@Tchunga To be fair though Metroid Dread was nominated for GOTY in 2021 so it isn't completely unheard of

I actually reached 100% completion in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 after a year of on and off playing!

I am currently obsessed with Star Ocean The Second Story R. I'm 12 hours in now and I'll be making more progress this weekend. I'm also going to be playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with some fellow NintendoLife users.

I normally keep my old consoles and then when support for them stops I'll mod it or something.

I am pretty excited to play more of Star Ocean The Second Story R I'm only an hour in so far but it's been great! If I can I'll see about playing some Splatoon 3 as well!

22/25 I did a lot better than I thought I would lol. I got Dr. Mario, DK, and Lucario wrong

I played the demo of this game and was pretty much sold within a half hour. Part of me wants to buy it right now but I don't want to buy it and then it goes on sale soon after 😅

Man I remember upgrading from a 128 GB sd card to a 400 GB a few years ago thinking that I would never have to upgrade ever again. Well, now I've reached a point where I have to archive games again 😅

I might honestly grab something like this whenever they decide to shutdown the eshop on switch lol.

It's mainly going to be a Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Splatoon 3 weekend for me. Maybe a little Theatrhythm as well.

For me personally, I wish there was a better way to track playtime stats. Sorting games by playtime on the switch doesn't even work properly.

I finally finished Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII last week. I don't think it was that bad but it's definitely my least favorite in the trilogy.

This weekend I'll be playing what most people are playing...Super Mario Bros Wonder. I'm going to be starting it with my siblings so I'm pretty excited.

The cloud versions of Kingdom Hearts are still to this day the most disappointed I have ever been in a switch release. I get the feeling they would be towards the top of the list if they were actual ports.

I had this pre-ordered so it's pretty much ready to go! I'm waiting till Saturday to start playing with my siblings though!

So I'm about 10 hours into Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII and I'm supposed to heal this chocobo in the wildlands. However it looks like I have to do a bunch of fetch quests to fully heal him and I really don't feel like doing it lol. I might continue through Theatrhythm this weekend as well. It's such a fun game!

I really don't know what team to pick this time around lol. I think this is the first time where I could see myself going with any of them.

I just bought Theatrhythm last week so I might play more of that. It's pretty funny I never thought I would enjoy rhythm games but I found myself really liking this one.

If time permits I'll also continue playing Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII

I have really been on a Final Fantasy binge this year lol. Earlier this week I finished Final Fantasy II. I was actually expecting it to have a barebones story like the first game so I was surprised when I found out it actually had a cast of characters. The leveling system grew on me over time but the encounter rate felt a lot higher even compared to the first game. On top of that, I was not a fan of how many empty rooms were in the dungeons. Overall I enjoyed it but I don't know if I would play it again.

Now I'm about 6 hours into Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII which is the last game in the trilogy. I was worried going into this game because I found out it has a doomsday clock mechanic. It actually isn't as bad as I thought it would be though. I also wasn't fond of the new combat system but after a few hours, I think I'm really starting to enjoy it. I'm currently on the third day so I'm looking forward to playing more this weekend.

I actually managed to beat the main story quests for a realm reborn in Final Fantasy XIV. I'm going to be taking a break and then dive into the post game quests.

I have also started the pixel remaster for Final Fantasy II. So far I'm about 3 hours in and it definitely feels different from the first game lol. Looking forward to playing more of it.

I just finished the pixel remaster for Final Fantasy IV a couple days ago. It was a really solid game all-around. I really love how much time is saved from grinding using the exp boosts. The final boss was actually quite challenging for me. I think it took me about 5 attempts to beat it.

This weekend I will likely be doing the splatfest in Splatoon 3. If I can, I might also try to play Final Fantasy XIV. I didn't even realize it but I'm almost done with all the main quests for a realm reborn. After that I'll still have the post game quests though 😅.

I had a rather stressful week so I'm really looking forward to relaxing on this 3 day weekend

I'm about 15 hours into Final Fantasy XIII-2. I think I might be able to finish it this weekend. I have to say I'm really surprised at how much I enjoyed the game. I liked the original game but I do think this one is a step up for the most part.

Honestly, I'll probably be getting both at some point lol

I'm a little over 10 hours into Final Fantasy XIII-2 and I've started to get a little annoyed with finding artifacts to open gates. There have been times when I miss something from a previous area then I have to go back and explore again. It's a shame because I really have been liking the game otherwise.

I might go back to Xenoblade Chronicles 3. I'm getting really close to completing it to 100%. Everybody just has about 5 classes to get to level 20. I've also got a few more unique monsters to beat!

@yuuji77 Well they said that Xenoblade 3 was supposed to be the end of the Klaus saga. A new game will likely start a brand new story altogether.

As long as the combat system feels unique I think I'll be fine.

I don't understand why this game is so hard for them to fix. After playing Vesperia I was really hoping they would bring more Tales games to switch. Now they did and it's still a mess smh.

I've got some work to finish unfortunately but if I get the time I'll continue Final Fantasy XIII-2. I'm currently over 8 hours into the game. The story is a little confusing but I'm liking it overall.

I kind of wonder why fame was even an option. Don't most famous people have money? 😅

I finished Fire Emblem Engage earlier this week. I really enjoyed it overall. Although I do feel like there were a bit too many characters. I ended up developing favorites so I would like to maybe replay and use some of the characters that I left on the bench.

I'm now returning to Final Fantasy XIII-2. I'm about 4 hours in and I'm really enjoying it! It's not as linear as the base game and the combat is still awesome. The soundtrack is also amazing but I don't really like how they brought back some type of random encounters. Overall, so far so good.

I listen to all of these soundtracks outside of the game on pretty much a regular basis. I really can't pick a favorite lol. Even the expansions for each of these have incredible music.

This is not an announcement I was expecting but it is definitely a welcome one lol.

Currently about 26 hours into Fire Emblem Engage. I haven't been able to play anything since last weekend so I'm really looking forward to relaxing again lol. I might play it the entire weekend so who knows maybe I'll finish it on Sunday 😅

I don't know...it seems a little unlikely, but then again... I thought the switch's lifetime sales would be around 120 million. So I've been wrong before 😅

@Dragnoran I enjoyed how online actually split up competitive and casual players. Whenever I wanted to play a bit more competitively I could choose for glory, and if I wanted to play casually I could choose for fun.

In ultimate I either have to rely on either preferred rules (which doesn't always give you your preferred ruleset) or arenas. On top of that I actually used to play the Smash Tour mode all the time with my siblings. It was like a smash bros version of Mario Party which we absolutely loved lol.

A bigger roster doesn't improve the game and it wouldn't renew my interest. This is still my least favorite Smash Bros game (so many characters and very lackluster content imo) so I would rather take a new game over adding new characters to Ultimate.

Fire Emblem Engage has really started to hook me last weekend. I think I just got to chapter 12 and I'll likely be playing that this weekend. I stayed up late last night doing school work so I could have my weekend completely free

This weekend I might play more Fire Emblem Engage and I'm not sure why but I recently have had an urge to play Final Fantasy XIV again. So I've been continuing my journey through ARR

I actually got Fire Emblem Engage for my birthday earlier this week! If I have the time I'll likely be playing that!

I've played 4 and 11 (enjoyed them both a lot!). I've got 5, 6, and 9 but I haven't started any of those yet. I really wonder where that remake for Dragon quest 3 is 🤔

I actually just bought the pixel remaster for the first final fantasy on Saturday and I managed to finish it last night lol. I did not expect to enjoy it so much.

I was just talking to my brothers the other day about how I missed Koopa Cape and now it's making a comeback lol! That's definitely the course I'm most hyped for. I just hope they don't change it too much 😅

This weekend I think I'm finally going to finish 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. I got this game for Christmas last year and I started playing it back in April. At this point I think I'm ready for it to be over 😅. Currently I'm at 95% for the story. I think I'm over 35 hours into the game now.

Last weekend I finally finished Tales of Arise after 2 months. It was a good game overall but the last quarter really felt a bit rushed. I also really didn't like all the back to back skits throughout the game. It was especially bad towards the end. Otherwise I also finished the first mega man zero game! It was quite challenging but I'm looking forward to playing the next one!

I'm also currently 31 hours into 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim and I think im getting really close to the end. I finished wave 10 for the second area. I really like how the story is told in this game but I don't really know how to feel about the combat. My plan was to do the story until I couldn't progress anymore and then focus on the battles but after doing 1 or 2 battles I just feel like stopping lol. I might've enjoyed this game better if I balanced out the battles and story better 😅

You know, the only 2023 release I've played is Future Redeemed for XC3 😅 I haven't played anything else from this year.

I'm 42 hours into Tales of Arise now and I think I'm halfway through the last dungeon. (I just reached the lower floors). This is only my 3rd Tales game but man, their final dungeons always feel so long. So many skits appear back to back which makes it feel even longer. Hoping to finish it this weekend!

I'm also about 22 hours into 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. Once I finish Tales of Arise I'll try and make some progress with this one.
