You know admittedly I never really played the mainline Pokemon games for their narrative 😅. Some of the spin off games have some pretty great stories though
I finished up the main story from Xenoblade Chronicles 3 not too long ago. So now I've been going back and finishing up all the side quests! I'm currently 91 hours into the game now and I've enjoyed every second of it so far!
My favorite pokemon is Slaking. I know that might make me seem lazy but I really love doing massive damage with him! Here's to hoping I'll see him again in a future pokemon game
I'm currently playing Xenoblade Chronicles 3. I'm 38 hours in and I can't get enough of this game! Looking forward to making more progress this weekend!
Absolutely loving Xenoblade Chronicles 3. I really love the combat system in this one! I just finished chapter 1 last night and I can't wait to see where it goes from here!
@ChromaticDracula I think it's best to start Torna after the main game honestly. It's funny though because I really think Torna is better than the main game 😅
@ChromaticDracula For what it's worth auto attacks eventually stop being at the forefront during combat. Idk if you ever played XC2 but for example, Mythra has this skill on her affinity chart where every time she lands a critical hit your arts automatically recharge. I was able to get her critical hit rate up to 60% (It could go higher) which meant I wasn't using auto attacks nearly as much
I ended up starting No More Heroes 3 a few days ago and it's really fun! It feels great to be back with Travis again. I'm currently rank 4 so I might finish up the game this weekend. It's a bit strange because I remember I didn't really like working the jobs in between boss fights back in the first game. But for some reason I've been enjoying it a lot more here!
Last night I finally beat all of the routes in Fire Emblem: Three Houses after 5 playthroughs. Crimson Flower really felt a lot shorter than I was expecting but I still enjoyed it. I really wish the support conversations between characters didn't reset each playthrough because part of me wanted to get them all 😅.
I still have a few weeks until Xenoblade 3 comes out and I'm not sure what exactly I should play 😅. I'm thinking about getting back into CrossCode. I'm a little reluctant to do so because that first dungeon was so lengthy. So it's either that or I could start No More Heroes 3.
Oh my God, I played this game on PC and I loved it. I got the true ending but I never completed it to 100% completion even though I kinda wanted to. Maybe I'll pick this up again if it's a good price!
But for me I'm continuing to do my 5th playthrough of Fire Emblem: Three Houses. I finally made it to the Crimson Flower Route (I didn't miss speaking to edelgard this time woo!) and I'm currently on chapter 13. I heard this route is a shorter one so I should be done before Xenoblade 3 releases.
I also did buy No More Heroes 3 since it went on sale. However I haven't started it yet and I haven't decided when I want too. If there's enough time after I finish Three Houses again then maybe I'll start this one.
I'm a bit surprised they're doing this with how much information they've already given. But you know what I am excited! I'm just so torn on whether or not I should tune in because I want to avoid story spoilers as much as possible 😅.
I finished up Xenogears earlier this week and oh my God...to say I was mind blown is an understatement! I did enjoy Disc 2 more than I thought I would but, I have to admit you can tell that it was rushed. It's a real shame because I haven't seen many games have this much depth with it's story. (Although to be fair, it would be a super long game if it was the same length as the first Disc.) After beating the game I looked up some explanation videos to clarify some of the things I was confused about and it only lead to my mind melting even more 😂. It's quite funny, I didn't see the hype for this game until around the end of Disc 1 and now I totally get it. I'm glad I played through the whole thing.
I'm now doing my 5th playthrough of Fire Emblem: Three Houses and I'm making a special effort to make sure I don't actually miss the Crimson Flower route this time 😅. It feels nice to play this game again. After I beat Crimson Flower maybe I'll pick up Three Hopes.
I've been kind of on and off with CrossCode lately. I love everything about the game so far except the length of the dungeons. After a few days I'm only now getting out of the first dungeon 😅 hopefully these aren't too common.
@Yosher Oh wow, that is a big difference in terms of progress! Can't wait to hear your thoughts as you continue!
The XC2 DLC is a pretty interesting case. You essentially have 3 different ways to get it...
You can buy it physically as a stand-alone game (If you buy it this way it'll show as a completely different game on your switch menu).
You can buy it through the expansion pass on the eShop (this is the cheapest method. If you have XC2 save data then the price for this drops to $30). Doing this won't make the game show up separately on the switch menu. Instead, you'll be able to access it on the main menu of XC2
You can buy it digitally as a stand-alone. Doing this is pretty much the same thing as the physical release...except digital lol.
@Yosher It always makes me happy seeing new people get into the series! (It's one of my personal favorites! ) But yeah, the voice acting from the smash reveal trailer is pretty in line with the XC2 voice acting for the most part. I don't really think the acting itself was bad it just had poor voice direction at times. Rex sort of falls flat on some of the intense scenes early game (especially compared to shulk) but I think he does improve a bit as the game goes on. But of course, you can be the judge whenever you get XC2.
I made it to Disc 2 in Xenogears (50 hours in now) and holy crap so much happened! The end of disc 1 was really wild...between the truth about the Soylent system, Citan revealing his true intentions, Hammer betraying the party and killing Elly's mother (I REALLY didn't think he was going to do it), and finding out that Fei was actually Id the entire time...man I have no words and that wasn't even everything! I'm currently on the second dungeon in Disc 2 and you know this Disc isn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. At this point in the game I'm really eager to have to rest of my questions answered. Hopefully I can finish the game this weekend!
I've been slowly making my way through Xenogears I haven't made too much progress but I think I'm currently 39 hours in. I'm quite eager to get to disk 2 because I always hear such mixed opinions about it lol.
Earlier this week I also started CrossCode I was really enjoying it for the first few hours. I was doing a whole bunch of side quests and having a great time. However, I just got to the first main dungeon, and man...it's pretty long. It isn't exactly a turn-off but I'm not normally a fan of super long dungeons 😅
I'm gonna be honest...I have officially reached a point where playing other games just isn't as fun anymore because I just want to get my hands on this one 😅
Flipnote Hatena was my life back then! For such a long time it was the main reason why I used my DSi. So many of my current interests came from there lol.
I'm 35 hours into Xenogears and I'm currently at the raid of Shevat . I've gotta be honest here I think I'm starting to get a little bit tired of the gameplay. The combat was pretty fun up to this point but admittedly it's starting to get a bit tedious now that I've got just about all the deathblows 😅
I'll push through to keep up with the story though!
I am now roughly 30 hours into Xenogears. I was playing a lot on Thursday night and oh my God I just couldn't stop playing 😂 I was up until like 2 AM. I just finished the part where Billy and the party get back to the Ethos HQ where we find everyone has been killed. I'm very eager to get back into it this weekend, the only reason I stopped was because I needed to sleep at least a little bit 😂
I was quite impressed with how many customizable features Xenoblade 2 added through it's DLC. Having control over how much HP an enemy has, how hard they hit, etc. is something I haven't seen many games do. Also they added the ability to turn off enemy aggression which makes exploring so much easier.
I hope stuff like this is available from the get go in Xenoblade 3

Re: Japanese Charts: Nintendo Switch Sports Knocks Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Off The Top Spot
I know the number dropped quite a bit but this is actually the best second week any Xenoblade game has had in Japan. For comparison:
XC2: 19,678
XCDE: 16,786
XC3: 39,529
