Based on everything that has been revealed, I already know Im going to buy it eventually. Preorders are going to be gone almost instantly Im sure so I'll wait for the hype to die down and get one later this year

Its exactly how I would imagine it to look: a better, bigger Switch. Honestly, I would be worried if they tried something different for the design, the Switch was too big of a success to step away from

As a big DC fan, I was not exactly happy with this game. Live service was just a terrible choice. Great concept though

I mean if it floats their boat, but I find this information to be irrelevant. Some people just love dissecting things for the sake of dissecting but ultimately it doesn't matter. What we get is what we get in the end

@Not_Soos Idk, I'm not getting those vibes you guys are. Its very cartoony and I will say I think they need to tone down the character's expressions, but other than that it has those goofy vibes that are common with mascot platformers

The hypocrisy of western culture never ceases to amaze me. God forbid a well endowed cartoon character in a video game, but porn? Sex and nudity all over media and TV? All gucci. smh

Figured there would be some performance issues with the Switch release, per usual -_- but hopefully patches or Switch 2 will take care of it. Either way, can't wait to play my copy when it arrives this week

I would not want to be Blizzard, so much competition they are dealing with currently lol. I'm personally more excited to play Marvel Rivals

I never bothered with this collection, I can play all of those games anyways on an emulator. If anything, they probably have plans to bring those games to NSO or some other platform

@WolfyTn I agree, its not that fun tbh. Also as a free to play player, it will take roughly 2 years to collect all the cards from this one set lol

@batmanbud2 you could make that argument about any digital service. Netflix, Spotify, steam, EA play, etc. putting money into a digital service is scary to be honest but the future is pointing to all digital and unless there is a world wide black out or capitalism collapses, those services aren't going any where

I'm avoiding as much gameplay as possible because I don't want to be spoiled. This was a day 1 purchase for me since announced lol

I wonder how sustainable their model is. I'm sure there are people who pay, but anyone who is financially responsible just won't spend any money on the game. If enough people do it free, they won't make very much money then will probably shut it down

I find it to be pretty boring honestly. It's just opening packs and playing very casual and uninteresting matches with other players. I'll stick with the real game

I might be a minority here but GoldenEye is almost unplayable to me. Between the awful graphics and controls, I just can't. Back in the day it was awesome but now, not so much

Im looking forward to it. My personal concern though is that the game itself will get stale very quickly since people will use whatever the most optimal deck is and that's all you see. From the collecting aspect, I don't care about that because its all digital

I agree with the devs here. Everyone is out to make a franchise, not a game. This is partly why we get so many flops as well. This won't change any time soon though as long as our socio-economic system allows this, there will always be greedy people and companies. For now, I'll keep supporting the devs that actually care about games first and money second

@Bobb I agree. I don't like censorship when it comes to art, I think it takes away from the original artist's vision (in this case, the late Akira Toriyama). But I also recognize that it really won't affect gameplay at all and doesn't hurt anything else. I'm still buying the game day 1, its one of my most anticipated games of the year

@JohnnyMind I have these concerns as well, but is Nintendo really targeting fan work? As in works of art that are non-profit? I don't think they can do anything unless someone is making money off of it somehow

People need to chill about the Switch 2. It will come when it comes, why not just enjoy some games in the meantime?

I understand censorship being a big deal, it definitely is pandering to a small amount of people who complain about non-issues which is frustrating but DQ is one of my favorite franchises and this game looks absolutely incredible regardless so I'm still getting it day one.

@USA_Spartan Do you have a source for that claim? These look kind of similar to previous art but it's not just spruced up old stock art. Compare the two and you would clearly see that

I am so ready to curl up with a blanket and hot chocolate and play this game. Dragon Warrior 3 on the GBC was my gateway drug into RPGs, so this game is very special to me. Hyped!

Power Stone?? I'm sold already. Capcom is going HAM with these collections recently and I am not complaining at all.

@canaryfarmer I would avoid Chrome at all costs. I use Brave which has built in adblocks and isn't owned by Google. Haven't had any issues with ads since I switched

Looks great, hopefully this will eventually replace the abysmal PTCG Live game as the place to play standard games. I know the game will be TCG-lite in terms of gameplay but I hope they will change that eventually

Don't know why you wouldn't just buy singles at that point. Using those companies cost money I'm assuming. Unless their price is low but still, that's very niche.

Hyped. I put MonolithSoft in the same category as FromSoftware. Amazind devs that make amazing games that ooze with content and quality for the price.

I, like many here, am glad that the Switch has lasted this long. Although, I'm starting to feel less interested in my Switch as there isn't a whole lot left that has been announced that I am actually interested in. Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D will probably be my last game I buy for the Switch and will just save up for the Switch 2. Also if there is a choice between buying a game on Switch or buying it on Steam, I almost always choose Steam now

I wanted to like this game but I'm just over live service f2p character shooters. Its been done to death and aside from competitive reasons, there isn't really a reason to get invested. Cheers to those who do enjoy it though. Personally I'm still waiting for a solid Star Wars single player RPG

Honestly, the Switch formula works so well that I think if they do just give us a beefy, upgraded switch with new UI and widgets that would sell just fine. Part of the Switch's huge selling point is it's hybrid nature. You can play any where so sticking to that concept should be key

Elden Ring is one of my favorite games of all time so I would be so happy if it comes to Switch 2. I would gladly double dip for that. Also that Castlevania collection would be pretty juicy

Interesting that there are no PC sales listed as the game has been selling on Steam as well. It has overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam currently so that's a good sign

Ahhhhh it looks so good will be day 1 buy for me. Also really happy to hear that there will be new content added to the game (for example a new vocation!) Also: a new little detail, weapons will now appear on the character to match the actual weapon equipped

@rjejr I doubt the Switch 2 will launch with Splatoon 4. Especially if backwards compatibility is a thing, I could see them extending 3's lifespan

@SillyG Well said, there's a huge difference between making a character something they are not just to fit a political point of view and evolving the character organically. This would be the latter and people should pay attention as this is how you handle characters with respect and love of the source material

I don't think people understand how absolutely bonkers that Marvel vs Capcom collection is. It seemed impossible to ever get those games released from licensing hell but here we are. Previously the only way to play those games were either on original hardware or a collection exclusive to Xbox 360. Huge win for the fighting game community.

As for my favorites (besides MvC): Dragon Quest 3 HD2D is a day 1 buy for me. DKC Returns HD and Metroid Prime 4 are runners up. the new Zelda game looks cute but I think I'll pass on it.

Also whatever happened to Metal Slug Tactics? That new MS game they announced here looks like a mobile game and am not interested in it
