@HugoGED Well as a consumer, I definitely care because Nintendo keeps saying that they charge these premium prices for their games because of the quality but if their first party games are struggling, then why am I paying these higher prices?

This isn't enough for me to get a Switch 2 personally but it does look great

Seems wild that he is begging people for good reviews. The game is in EA which has stopped me from buying it. I want the full, complete experience, not an alpha or beta. Review bombing is real unfortunately due to our extremely toxic cancel culture. People look for any reason to tear down anything they see and its just sad, but they need to just focus on improving the game and stay off of social media

@RiccyBobby That isn't the issue my dude. There are plenty of Pokemon-like games out there that have some questionable designs that look similar to actual Pokemon but Nintendo didn't sue them or try to. Its because Palworld exploded in popularity, especially in Japan, which made Nintendo sweat and point fingers

@Jeronan Bingo. They want complete control over their property and anyone who tries to compete or disrupt it just gets sued to the ground. Honestly probably won't get a Switch 2 any more. Besides some first party games I won't be missing out on much, Steam Deck is a better option for me since I have a large steam library

Obviously comments here are going to be extremely biased, so I'm not going to add to that. I will say though that more options is a great thing. If the price-to-power ratio is just right, this could do well in the market. Though I'm not hopeful due to the current state of the global economies.

This doesn't bode well for consumers who aren't bots or scalpers. Switch 2 will definitely sell out the second it comes online. But oh well, I can wait to get one. Plenty of other things to keep me occupied until then

@johnvboy Only 10gb of RAM? Yikes...compared to the 16gb of RAM in the Steam Deck OLED which came out 3 years ago..

This is just a taste of the future that we are heading in People will own nothing but will have to pay for everything still. So the corporations will have all the power to themselves. The problem isn't digital itself, I think logically it makes sense. Zero waste, lots of discounts, easier for developers and costs reduced. The problem is money and our socio-economic systems

I don't agree with the price hikes but at the same time it's just the reality of our current global situation. Everything is going up in price and wages well... aren't. I consider myself very fortunate where I have a good paying job and have no dependents but for most people that's not the case. Here's hoping the prices do drop eventually

So it's Nightborn but with pvp as well. Gotta say I'm really bummed this isn't a new action rpg. I'll see what it's about before I make a final judgement but so far it doesn't sound good

You also know that Nintendo will add paid DLC, adding on top of the whopping $80 already which is just greedy. An open world MK is great but not worth that much IMO

Its like they want to kill physical games for good. They will go "oh but the physical copies aren't selling as well, time to get rid of them I guess". People are losing owner ship of physical items and being replaced with digital items that can be taken away at any time. Sad future ahead for us all

@presenttense you aren't negative mate, it's good to be critical, especially when it comes to spending money. I myself can wait to upgrade, as I'm sure the scalpers and their bots have already eaten up the preorders. Even so, not enough there to justify a day one buy imo

I think Tomodachi life is a great game to watch others play but not so much by yourself. I'm passing on it personally but am looking forward to the myriad of let's plays that will accompany it on YouTube

Not my first choice for a FF remake but it's definitely a great game. As long as it's a faithful remake and nothing like FFVII remake then I'll be happy. I personally want VI remade and an offline XI first but hopes and dreams and all of that

Well they said "beyond the world of the game" for the projects so I'm not expecting a remake or rerelease. To me, its in the same spot as Final Fantasy VI, all the creators talk how impossible or hard it would be to remake it and never do it. Even though FFVII was in the same light but look at that now lol

These days I don't expect much from TPC. They always take the safe bet rather than risking a little to try to innovate the series. I'm sure this will be fun but not expecting a huge leap from what we usually get

I honestly don't know what to believe any more. Any time I see news like this, there isn't actual proof that said person committed said crime/violation, just accusation. And in Japan, sexual harassment laws are much more harsh then they are here in the west. You could go to jail just for looking at a woman a certain way. Not trying to defend the dude but also not jumping on the hate wagon because again: not enough proof. He allegedly did it, key word allegedly

Im not in a big rush to buy one so I will probably wait to pick one up later this year. Unless a new mainline Zelda game launches this year (which is highly unlikely), I can wait. Also there are much more powerful handheld gaming PCs on the horizon so keeping an eye on those

Yea not buying it. Like others have mentioned, its not worth the asking price. If it was $30 then maybe but definitely not $60

Based on everything that has been revealed, I already know Im going to buy it eventually. Preorders are going to be gone almost instantly Im sure so I'll wait for the hype to die down and get one later this year

Its exactly how I would imagine it to look: a better, bigger Switch. Honestly, I would be worried if they tried something different for the design, the Switch was too big of a success to step away from

As a big DC fan, I was not exactly happy with this game. Live service was just a terrible choice. Great concept though
