@KryptoniteKrunch Most of the comments on this site are like that sadly. But its because its the most outspoken fans that come here and complain when something doesn't go their way, even though ultimately they are just wasting their energy. This is Nintendo saying that the expansion pass was a success for them and they are moving forward with it so complaining won't do anything, unless of course the majority complain and stop buying, which won't happen

I think they should do a call-back to SNES and call it the Super Nintendo Switch (SNS)

Man, really hoping for a re-release or remake of Xenogears. Such an amazing game honestly. Chrono Trigger, really surprised that one still isn't on the switch. Makes me think they have some other plans for that game...But to add to this list, I'm still waiting for Super Mario RPG to make an appearance on the Switch.

Also heard that there is a Power Stone remake on the table and man I really hope it comes true. Could literally be Capcom's Smash Bros with its own unique roster and gameplay

@Tipehtfomottob Same, after we had switched to Playstation in our household, my parents would just say "games" or "game thing"

I have it and played it, its fun for what it is but man this could have been so much more. This could have been Square's baby if they handled it right. They honestly should have just made it free to play from the get go then there wouldn't be so much backlash. And instead of just focusing on FF they could have used all of their IPs including DQ, Lara Croft, Live-A-Live, Octopath Traveler, Bravely Default, etc but oh well

Here's a suggestion that I would love to see and haven't seen any one mention: They should implement a "fail forward" system in the game. For example, you can actually lose to your rival, but if you do instead of replaying until you do beat him/her, they just say something like "get stronger and face me again!" and it opens up another encounter a little later but it doesn't soft lock you at all or prevents you from actually moving forward in the game. Now I dont think this could be applied to every battle in the game but at least for the rival

Yea maybe if I was still supporting Amazon and had my subscription but I still see no reason to give them my money

Disney pretty much ruined this franchise, but at least I can still enjoy the original and chain of memories

Fun fact, this boss is 10x easier if you do the Blaidd quest (the half-wolf guy). You can summon him to help fight this guy and its sooo much easier

Pretty sure that was in the games as some point. May have been inspired but "copy" is a little harsh. I love the FF IP so I will probably get this one as I have been burnt out on Mario Kart 8

Its sad that they didnt just port over The Story So Far to the Switch, it shouldn't have been an issue to put it on a cartridge or two. I dont care about KH3 but some of the titles before that would be welcomed

Still hoping to get some kind of co-op mode in DLC. One thing that I loved about SWSH was the max raid battles as those kept me coming back to the point where I have sunk over 150 hours into the game

I remember it, however I also remember losing my cords and my friends didnt have any so couldn't trade lol sure it may have been comforting to link up physically with friends buts its obsolete and needs to stay in the past

I like Decidueye's design personally (I saw the leaks) and will probably pick him but Samurott's design is nice too...Didn't like Typhlosion's design but the typing is cool, fire/ghost

Im trying temper my expectations. Its a new formula for an established franchise but I still think they will play things fairly safe but all I can hope is that its fun and worth the 60 dollars and that they take these awesome new features into future games and improve on them

Can't wait to see what they have planned. Im a huge fan of the Bravely series, so a new entry would be welcome or even re-releases of the first 2 on the Switch would be great. I want to hear more news on the HD2D remake of DQ3 as well!

I like how every Pokemon article on this site has to turn into a flame fest because a couple of people want to express their hate towards the game/franchise. If you agree, fine. But if you don't just ignore them. They are the minority after all

Honestly, its not even the F2P or Zynga part that gets me (I mean, I think Pokemon Unite is great and its F2P and Tencent...). Its more the fact that these characters don't appeal to me at all. Woke Sith girl, robot Jedi, Jawas, Wookie go-SMASH, yawn. But if its your thing, more power to ya.

While I don't agree with the quality of these specific entries, Im sure there are plenty of people having a ton of fun with the game and Pokemon has been doing a good job of staying relevant throughout the years. I'm waiting for Legends Arceus before I pick up another entry though, decided to pass on this one as Gen 4 never really stood out to me personally

@moodycat I don't fall in that camp. I've played LoL since beta back in 2009 and I love this game. Although I am a big fan of how Riot has handled this IP and how they are expanding it so I am a tad biased. If you dont have much of an interest in the IP and if you didn't like Battlechaser Nightwars then you may want to pass on this, otherwise its a fantastic game

Wish they could have thrown in Leper from Darkest Dungeon but this is still pretty cool

might have to pick up Fire Emblem Three Houses since its on sale now

I tried this game but its just not my cup of tea. Its more slower pace than Smash and most abilities are tied to weapons instead of the characters. Wish we could get a proper Indie Smash-like game featuring popular indie characters...yes I know of Bounty Battle but I want something similar but 3D and well, much better than that game lol

The score doesn't surprise me, thats what I thought it would get honestly. Im skipping this entry because as much as the typical pokemon style works its just been done to death. Im eagerly awaiting Legends Arceus as that will move the series forward me thinks

Honestly this isnt a surprise to me and good on them. In this age of "cancel culture" people will downvote videos for ridiculous reasons. Case in point, any video that has to do with Covid or the President is flooooded with downvotes. Mainly from trolls and/or haters and is the information relevant? No not really

I still think Brie would make a dope Samus in a live action movie/show. Fight me.

@BirdBoy16 I personally don't think they add a whole lot to the roster other than just a way for them to shoe in some other characters by technicality. Plus I would want a smaller roster so they would seem to be a good cut choice IMO

They shouldn't rush into another one any time soon but there are tons of improvements they could make in the next installment. Ultimate is by no means a perfect game and there is a lot of room for improvement. Just to toss some ideas around for the next installment: No clones or echo fighters, costumes and DLC costumes for the characters, no Mii fighters, updated kits for all returning fighters (Luigi with more moves involving his vacuum from LM3, Young link that revolves around using various masks from MM, even giving Mario slightly different moves to match his current games, etc.), a smaller but more balanced roster than Ultimate.

Gonna skip this one personally, but it does have a charm to it. Gen 4 never really stood out to me in terms of the designs but it still looks fun. I'm just waiting for Legends Arceus at this point

anyone else notice that the right stick acts as the C buttons in Mario 64 but they don't do anything in Sin and Punishment...I mainly picked up this service to play a legit English version of S&P only to find that the controls are horrendous on anything but a 64 controller

Even as a DC fan, I can't get behind this...its just too weird. Smash is great because its only video game characters but now this game is throwing in comics, movies, and tv shows...just weird.

Will probably pass on this one. Way too hyped for Legends Arceus at this point plus gen 4 was never my favorite gen, its not bad but not great either IMO

Also, 50 dollars for one year still isn't bad IMO. That still only equals ~$4.17 USD per month which is dirt cheap compared to other services. That also includes all of the NES and SNES games, as well as online play so I think its fine

I plan to play Sin and Punishment as I have always been interested in the series but haven't got a chance to play it yet. As for Sega, I'll definitely try my luck with Shinobi III. I loved Shinobi for PS2 and the 3DS version was great as well

Everyone wants to jump on the Smash train since they saw how many views and the hype that came with Smash Ultimate. Im ok with this, I just think it would be so strange to see Batman, Gandolf and Bugs Bunny in the same game.
