I’ve mine pre ordered for delivery from Smyths, they’re usually excellent for delivery so I’m expecting it early on release day.

Hopefully SEGA learned from Mario Wonder releasing the same week as the last 2D Sonic and don’t drop this at the same time as Mario Kart World.

I was a bit disappointed at the amount of tracks until I saw the price which seems super reasonable.

@Yalloo They fully rebooted development on it due to the poor reaction to this trailer. I'd expect it to look far better whenever Ubisoft next show it.

I will be using it 0% of the time. Nintendo have spent a silly amount of time showing off this "feature" which shows your friends games running like a slideshow. They clearly felt they needed a gimmick this gen but it's totally unnecessary.

@Pillowpants It might be graphically pared back but I'd be shocked if we don't see a version of Monster Hunter Wilds on Switch 2. There's no way Capcom would ignore that much of an opportunity.

I'm not sure users leaving genuine reviews of what's being deemed a mediocre/bad game really counts as "review bombing".

Yet all the high paid execs, the one’s responsible for poor business decisions, will keep their jobs. Disgusting.

I'm not quite sure he "beat" the game in this timeframe if he just loaded a save state and beat the boss?

I can’t say I’ve ever found the charge times particularly bad. The charge lasts so long it’s such a rare occurrence. My PS5 controller on the other hand needs charging every other day.

I had such high hopes from Rime but it ran so so badly on Switch, a real shame.

It's infuriating that Microsoft haven't even commissioned a Banjo remake at this stage. It seems like a low cost/effort idea to reignite the franchise and see how it sells.

Considering how toxic the gaming community can be, you can't really blame him for wanting to stay anonymous. The fact Ubisoft devs are currently being threatened is a really sad state of affairs.

Imagine how well Monster Hunter is going to sell when they port it to Switch 2.

Will they ever give a release date for this title, it's been teased enough.

I'm a regular player but genuinely, how could a game and company that's years past its peak be worth $3.5bn?

I don't see any way in which Switch doesn't outsell PS2 at this stage. It should comfortably hit the milestone in the next 12-18 months max.

Looking at such a barren release schedule really makes me wonder if we'll see a Direct before April focused on Switch 1 games. Nintendo typically publish one game a month so it's looking very light at the moment.

@Arawn93 Huh? Mufasa has done $600m at the box office, Sonic 3 $420m.

Both still successes but I don't think Sonic "murdered" Mufasa in any way.

How does the combat in X compare to the mainline games? I bounced off the first after a few hours but am open to trying a spin off.

Do Genki not need a license to produce Switch 2 peripherals? If so, I can't see it lasting too much longer, Nintendo cannot be happy with them. It's wild how unprofessional they've been.

As a physical collector this obviously isn't great news but one thing I'd like to point out is that Smyths Toys are a private company and do not report data into Nielsen. They are probably now one of, if not the biggest, and fastest growing video game retailers in the UK. The overall trend is definitely down but it may not be quite as doom and gloom as it first appears.

Nintendo really need to get on with the reveal as they've lost total control of the narrative.

Considering how Warner's previous Batman titles performed on Switch this will likely be a disaster.

Just give the IP to a different developer at this stage. People want an action-adventure sequel in the same vein as the original. There’s no need to reinvent it as some live service muck.

@Andee Yep, totally agree. It's a great game but went on too long and the combat needed to evolve more to sustain its length.

This has been such an issue with all games the past few years. I don't understand why developers can't add the option to make text larger, particularly in complex menus. I always play on 50" TV screen so it's baffling that this is even a challenge.

Text size changes seem to only be reserved for cutscenes.

I'm really enjoying it but wish I could just buy a full price version with all the cards to play as I want. I haven't spent money on it so far but starting to feel the grind set in.

I just have no idea for the audience is for this title. I can't foresee it doing well as it's not the type of license that's going to appeal to a casual audience over Christmas.

@Yodalovesu I played Rime in its patched state and the framerate was still absolutely dire. It’s a real pity as the art style is great.

@LavenderShroud I think it may be a copy and paste error. Its totals sales last week were 307,942. Adding the 276 it sold this week leads to a total of 308,218.

It was never going to sell like BOTW/TOTK but 2.6m in 5 days is seriously impressive.
