Why would anyone who wants to play it on Switch even opt for a physical release? It’s just useless plastic taking up space. I opted for the PS5 version to get it on a disc.

I suspect they'll announce a new Mega during the Pokemon Presents at the end of Feb which will be next season's rewards.

Didn't Ubisoft just announce they were delaying all of their games for polish? I suspect the book's date is likely a leftover from when the game was heavily rumoured to release before the end of March.

I'll likely wait for a sale but this preview makes it sound far more promising than I expected.

Picked up a physical copy of DQ7 over the weekend but had to opt for the PS5 version as I couldn't justify spending €70 on a GKC.

Is there any new single player content at all or is it all just multiplayer add-ons? I loved the base game but I can't see myself shelling out for this.

This game had more than one track? It's incredibly repetitive when traversing the city.

Anyone who hasn't played Final Fantasy VII before is in for a treat. The combat is so much fun.

I finished the PS5 version yesterday and it was a delight. It's drastically improved over the original which was a huge disappointment.

Very cool though I do wish it was given a different typing than its standard mega.

@FrenchVaniIIuxe I don't know why you are so keen to push some weird false narrative around its sales. Ubisoft literally stated the series, Shadows included, had a "strong performance".

Just scrap the whole thing and start again at this stage. Whatever Ubisoft are trying to do here is nothing that people liked about the original game.

As soon as I saw those pointless costume Pikmin I knew Niantic had to be involved somehow.

The update looks cute and is a nice little freebie.

Probably my game of the year but I have absolutely zero desire to get this underwhelming DLC with its even more underwhelming FOMO events.

Will wait for a sale due to so many platformers out at the moment, but great this has picked up strong reviews. The original was super underwhelming but Impossible Layer was excellent, glad this lives up to its quality.

I don't suppose Nintendo Life have the split of EA Sports FC on Switch vs. Switch 2? Given it's a Day 1 third party release, I'm curious to see the split. It just seems to be a combined figure above.

I'm not sure it really matters too much. I can't say I've ever been concerned nor thought about continuity in the Mario universe.

I’m getting quite nervous about Octopath. It’s like they took its name only and disregarded the things people liked about it, such as the individual character stories and 4-party battles.

I never played the original and really loved this game. Hopefully the port works out well.

The crazy thing about Forgotten Land getting a patch is that it's one of the few, if not the only, notable game releases in recent years to never have received a patch. Nintendo really playtest the hell out of their titles!

Please give us a Yooka Replaylee release date.

@Pillowpants Ya I think it's just a matter of pressing a button in each battle! it's a while since I plated but you should see it on the lower left corner of the screen. It can be switched on and off at any time.

@Pillowpants You can play the battles on 2x speed, have you tried that setting?

The base game is excellent but just not sure these additional add-ons are worth buying.

I'm really excited to see what Nintendo can do with the Switch 2 hardware if both Mario Kart and DK started life as Switch 1 titles.

God forbid anyone dares sell a Nintendo title for a few bucks below the RRP.

The only surprising thing is how weird Nintendo were about not announcing the developer when the game was revealed.

It was a bit of a faff to change my HDMI cable so I just left my original Switch 1 cable in place and used it on my Switch 2. Have just been reading up on it after this article so I'll definitely look to change it now as apparently it can make quite a difference. Whoops!

It's a solid launch line-up overall but for me it's missing a great single player exclusive. Donkey Kong will thankfully rectify that next month but it's meant I haven't spent as much time on my Switch 2 as I expected.

@Magician Video games are supposed to be fun but ultimately meaningless.

This is long overdue a sequel, especially with those sales. Activision's aversion to releasing new Crash and Spyro titles is infuriating.
