This is a great concept but... it's not coming to Nintendo consoles, so why the article?

They've been surprisingly quiet about the Diamond and Pearl remakes as well. I really thought we'd have seen a bit more footage by now considering we're not that far from release.

I'm glad Switch owners will get a chance to play this title but it's not a patch on the first two and quite underwhelming.

All that painstaking effort for no reward and a few YouTube clicks does not seem worth it.

Everything is cyclical. I fully expect physical games media to have a small resurgence in future years, similar to how vinyl is performing now. The physical market won't ever be as a big as it once was but I don't think it will totally disappear either.

I'd never heard of this title before today and it looks right up my street. Will definitely nab it when it goes on sale as my backlog is too big at the moment.

@RobotReptile It's a niche spin-off so I don't think sales were ever going to be huge. It's probably selling quite well compared to Mystery Dungeon?

I agree that this change is totally unnecessary but the Pokemon Go community is probably the most toxic I've ever come across and will always have something to complain about. If it wasn't this issue it would be another.

Very little of interest lately. I'll stick with Skyward Sword and my back catalogue for the foreseeable.

I still find it bizarre they released Monster Hunter Stories 2 so close to Rise, that surely had to have cannibalised a lot of sales.

@Ogbert You can easily get the Legendaries as a Go Battle League reward if you don't have people to raid with.

@kurtasbestos Japanese gamers definitely get screwed on pricing but my original point was about why Xenoblade is so much more expensive than all other games on the list. It's 8,778 Yen vs. 6,578 or 7,678 Yen for all other first party titles. Just thought it was a peculiar oddity.

@Bentendo1609 Not necessarily. Gaming has come a long-way in 10 years and what may have been a good or innovative game in 2011 doesn't always hold true in 2021.

The colour looks cool but this offers so few features over the standard model I don't see any point in upgrading. It'll be nice for first time Switch buyers.

5-8 hours for part 1 of a DLC package seems a pretty decent amount of gameplay.

Metro Redux is only £2.24 which seems like an outrageous bargain.

It literally looks like... every other 3D Sonic game for the past 15 or so years.

Let's hope Legends has had a major frame rate improvement when they next show it.

It's worth noting that Mario 3D World's first week boxed sales are still the highest of the year. Resident Evil 8 came in second.

The fact they managed those numbers with so few software releases is even more staggering.

Impressive but Pokemon Go has also made this significantly easier. Shinies are handed out like candy on Community Day in particular.

@Sandro89 These are only Nintendo published and developed titles so wouldn't be included here. I think Pokemon Go probably earns more revenue than all these titles combined!
