Yikes at those underwhelming sales for Mario + Rabbids. I really thought after the long-tail of the first game that it was going to be a bigger franchise with Sparks of Hope. Hopefully it sold better digitally.

@Tharsman Yahoo is still big in Japan, has something like a 20% share of the market there.

The game has been out less than 2 weeks so locking one of the first terra raid battles to post-game content is a weird choice.

One of my fave games of all time but that video was a little underwhelming. I thought Sakurai would have shown off a few more concepts or given us a little more behind the scenes footage.

Watch Gamefreak patch this out and leave the rest of the game a janky mess.

@uptownsoul New PS5 stock probably came in. Switch is nearly 6 years old now so sales are going to slow.

It's not exactly too surprising. They're sitting on so much unused IP in favour of mobile trash. Hopefully the Silent Hill titles renew their faith in the home console market.

That's a nice little patch. I'm about 6 hours in and have only encountered some minor framerate issues.

How can a game like this even be spoiled? It's not like it's particularly plot-heavy like Pokemon or Xenoblade.

I'm really looking forward to this, praying it's a solid sequel and they don't mess with the formula too much...

I'm more interested in how its sales compared to the release of Two Point Hospital but great to see it getting so high in the charts.

I'm most excited for the toxic fandom meltdown regardless of how good the presentation is.

Considering the volume of leaks that had happened in the past few weeks I'm surprised they haven't put out a new gameplay trailer yet.

It's not a bad game, it just had lots of poor decisions that stopped it being a great game.

My biggest issue was how it didn't respect the players time. There are so many cases where you've navigating through certain levels, only to slip off a platform and have to start from the very bottom of a tedious climb all over again e.g. Noki Bay.

There's a particularly awful section in Delfino Plaza where you need to take Yoshi on a boat ride to find a pipe that leads to a hidden Shine. One small slip, or if Yoshi gets wet, and you need to start the frustration, yet again, from the beginning. I gave up after 45 minutes of trying and just moved on to other Shines.

Slight error in the table which shows Klona as being #4 last week.

This seems a bit bogus. The trilogy was (quite rightly) panned but it sold really well and Rockstar even said it "significantly exceeded" expectations back in Feb.

I'd love a return of the Gamecube-era Bond style games. They were diverse and incredibly fun, that blend of genres in a single title is sorely missing these days.

I say this as a huge fan but their remakes of BDSP were poor, lazy remakes. Those titles had no love or passion from ILCA.

But did Nintendo answer is the real question.

So which consoles are still ahead of it and by how much?

Isn't the lore in Kingdom Hearts already a confusing mess? I fail to see how a Smash feature would make it an issue.

@Grumblevolcano Can we please stop with these theories. The numbers forecast are still phenomenal for a console so far into its lifespan. Nintendo have no need to release new hardware when the Switch, in all its various iterations, is still selling so well.

Reading those quotes I don't think it means that he believes in blockchain/NFTs as such, at least not in their current guise. I think he moreso meant than he'd like to for players to have the option to monetize their digital games once they stop playing, similar to how we trade in physical games once we're done playing them...

Is the 3DS not region-free? Why don't US shoppers just buy the UK cartridge given it's so much cheaper?
