I enjoyed FF7 Remake on Switch 2. Apparently Rebirth is bigger and better so it’s day one for me

Fantastic. Looking forward to this as I’m not big on multiplayer games

I like the more RPG styled Assassins Creed like Shadows and Valhalla so this is disappointing but I’ll wait and see how it reviews

I was never interested in Animal Crossing but this leaf item is the best item ever so I will purchase this game tomorrow. The adventures me and this leaf icon will go on will be awesome. I truly can’t wait. If you haven’t purchased Animal Crossing I’m sure this leaf item will convince you and millions of others to try this game out.

Looking forward to both of these particularly Fire Emblem. That said I’m very interested in a proper single player focused Splatoon spin-off

I’ll be very surprised if they hit 2026 for Layton. Whilst they’re absolutely terrible with their track record with delays, they do release quality games so it’s worth it in the end but Level 5 would do well to stop over promising with their release dates which based on this presentation I think they kept that in mind somewhat

I sunk 90 hours into Snack World so it’s definitely good and underrated but it is also repetitive and grindy. I will skip this though.

@TheExile285 No thanks. Juggling and managing games like that is a massive pain in the a$$ and then waiting hours for a game to redownload sucks just cos IO Interactive are so cheap unlike CD Projekt Red.

Nate the Hate has got a good track record. He does make some mistakes like Kirby’s Planet Robobot remake which never eventuated so pay attention to Nate but his word is not gospel.

I’ve played about 8 hours since the upgrade and only had one crash so it’s definitely more stable but not perfect. Loading time when starting the game is still pretty long but the frame rate and visuals seem better to me.

If they give us real physical I’m fine with this. I only buy digital if it’s on deep discount and/or a game I reallr, really want that didn’t get a physical release

I thoroughly enjoyed Tomodachi Life on 3DS but if I had one gripe is that it didn’t have a heap of content. Hopefully the Switch sequel addresses this. But with the lack of content in Mario Tennis Fever and Mario Strikers I will check reviews before buying

I like the red colour scheme of the Japanese version but everything else is better with the American version.

New Nintendo 3DS XL has all the best and premium features in the one console so there’s no compromise in the experience

This game looks good but the price combined with no physical has me hesitating

No new content just a performance improvement so why is this not free? They are nickle and diming us which is what I expect from a scummy company like EA, disappointed that it’s Nintendo and Monolith Soft. Not impressed.

The score’s going to depend if you are going to play mainly multiplayer or single player. If you’re mainly going to play multiplayer then an 8 or a 9 is likely to be your score, but if you’re a single player gamer then $60 for 3 hours of content you’re probably going to score it a 2 or a 3

This is a disgusting and anti consumer practice and a slap in the face to diehard fans who paid full price for this when it launched on the Switch expecting them to double dip instead of charging them $10 or so for an upgrade. I wouldn’t even expect this level of evil from EA.

I want this. Please shock me and release this physically on Switch.

@AussieMcBucket Yeah with no upgrade path. Compared to Bandai with Digimon Story TT with free upgrade it’s very disappointing and anti consumer. Be better Square Enix. That said I have the Switch 1 physical and playing it on Switch 2 and it looks good and runs smoothly with short loading times

I have it on PS4 but it’s in my backlog. Would’ve definitely bought it if it was a real physical so I guess I’ll be buying Indiana Jones and the Great Circle instead

I might be in the minority but I’m kinda over the HD-2D graphics now. Square have done it to death. Keep it for the Octopath Traveler series but I much prefer the graphical style they went with for Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined.

I don’t trust the 29.2gb size as another upcoming Capcom game Monster Hunter Stories 3 has the exact same size listed

First time in years I won’t watch a Direct. I saw the first Kirby Direct and the graphics were so basic. The shopping mall area looked like a mobile game. Oh well.

They’re so cheapskate by not adding voice. According to the recent leak this game cost $13 million to produce. It sells for $60 on the eshop and it’s expected to sell 20 million copies which is $1200 million of revenue ($1.2 billion) It’s ridiculous that there’s no voice acting. Profits to the extreme

Level 5 show their games way too early and then constantly delay them. What’s going on with Decapolice and the Yokai Watch spin-off Holy Horror Mansion? Things have gone real quiet there.

I love Nintendo but to be honest they were boring af. If they continue with short films I hope they’re more interesting than that yawnfest

Their sales strategy excludes me. Sales data for game key cards have been disappointing according to industry analysts. RE games take up alot of precious storage space so I won’t buy unless we get a proper physical. I wont buy Mortal Kombat or NBA2K even when they’re stupidly cheap on the eshop for this reason.

Stay tuned for September 2026 announcement where Level 5 delay it until 2027. Wasn’t Level 5’s Decapolice originally supposed to release in 2024. Where the heck is that game?

No upgrade path is pretty disgusting for physical collectors. Very anti-consumer. These companies need to do and be better.
