Physical release - fantastic. I'll hate waiting a few extra weeks but it'll be worth it

There’s stuff on my wishlist that I didn’t get and that will be the case with all directs but this is a really, really good update which will get me back in to the game which I haven’t touched for 5 months. Exceeded my expectations so well done Nintendo

Difference is Link’s Awakening looks nice whereas this looks like a mobile game and a cheap one at that

It’s hard to believe it when they are completely non-specific. I’m sure these updates have improved the stability of the controllers

About time. Smash Brothers sales figures are well below Animal Crossing but they’ve had heaps of regular new content whereas what Nintendo has given the larger Animal Crossing install base in comparison has been pathetic

Don’t know I can wait for the physical so unless the download size is more than 15GB will be picking this up digitally

@VoidofLight No just any game announcement that involves Switch. P4G would be great but P5R for Switch would blow me away.

What a complete let-down of an announcement. Even more so for everyone living outside of Japan as we get nothing. Having said that hopefully the reason is they don’t want to shift focus from SMT5. The next announcement is in December a number of weeks after the release of SMT5 and we have the Tokyo Games Show soon so I haven’t given up…….yet.

Loved the first one on switch so I’ll be buying the physical day one. In Australia the physical is released one week later than digital.

Interestingly the hefty 45gb download was not even mentioned in the review or comments which is a big factor preventing me from buying. Even with my 512gb sd card I’m not prepared to give up nearly 10% of my storage on a basketball game

I would've liked more explanation on what they fixed from the first Little Nightmares game which you scored a 6.

Good to see Rockstar doing something for Switch however I was hoping for GTA 5 or at a minimum GTA 4. I’m interested to know if they will charge a premium price for this as I would pay $30 but if they charge more for these old games I would make do with the Saints Row games I have.

I really liked this Direct. I was hoping for an update or release date for Disco Elysium as there’s been no news of late on the Switch release

The price is ridiculous. I laughed and then thought are there morons who would pay this much when you can get free mobile phone games better than this? I suppose the people who buy this will also buy the calculator at full price on the eshop. LMAO

In much the same way that my hopes are fading for a Yokai Watch 4 western release I had almost given up hope for this title. Great news

Haven’t played this since the first week of July. Need some decent content for me to get back in to it for more than a couple of days

It’s not worth it as an upgrade for most but worth it if you’re buying your first Switch. I actually don’t want a pro to be released as I want to get 2-3 more years out of the current Switch before Nintendo go to a new generation.

The graphics do not look HD. Graphics look sooo dated and like a 10 year old game or a budget title. No way am I paying the full asking price for this. Could u imagine if this ugly game released at full price on PS5 or even PS4 it would be a laughing stock or just totally ignored. If this wasn’t a Zelda game no one would buy it

I know it’s a business and I know Apple do this sort of thing too but if that’s the case that Nintendo are just profit gouging on the new model then I hope people continue to buy the base Switch

Swapping between SMT3, American Fugitive, World Of Final Fantasy Maxima and Saints Row 3 thanks to some great e-shop discounts

Knowing that it was a 40 minute direct they packed a lot in. There was no Pro, Trilogy Pack (Zelda, Metroid, Mass Effect) also no Donkey Kong, Xenoblade, Mario Kart 9 etc. But I was pretty happy as I feel there is plenty of good games to look forward to and when all is said and done that’s all we really need. I give the direct an 8/10

Level 5 released Ni No Kuni II but are they also taking care of the Switch version or is Nintendo or Bandai Namco taking care of the Switch port as Level 5 have financial issues

They are even marketing the next update by delaying it to build hype and interest

This is giving the game plenty of publicity and a lot more exposure than If it released as was expected a couple of weeks ago. Smart marketing intended or not.

@chardrich I really agree with Nintendo buying Level-5 that would be a good win for Nintendo and makes sense. Konami would probably be a good idea especially if there's a way we can get a MGS game but Rare might be a waste of money as they don't do much anymore.

@Alucard83 I agree. Do you want DLC for Pikmin 3 or would you rather have Pikmin 4? DLC for GTA 5 or do you want GTA 6? After 7 years I’m ready for MK9

Look at the list of new software. Looks like every single title comes with the Nintendo Seal of Approval. Quality AAA stuff. If.only I could buy them all. Thanks Nintendo.

I actually think Nintendo have got so much publicity out of this promotional gimmick that it’s worked well. I would caution Nintendo about repeating this gimmick because it will wear thin and annoy consumers in much the same way as micro transactions. They would be best advised not to test the goodwill of their customers too much IMO.

Ryza 1 & 2 are the most expensive games on the Australian eshop at $90 for the base game which is what is stopping me from diving in.

I loved the repetitive relaxing RPG loop of Miitopia on the 3DS but I’m not paying again unless there’s substantial new content which it doesn’t look like there. Mii customisation and a horse is pretty lazy. Miitopia 2 is what would’ve got me to hand over my hard earned $

I loved this on the 3DS. I want this more than MH Rise

Sure there were some obvious ones left off the list such as SMT but I loved reading through this as most of these games I haven’t played and a few I never knew about

I loved the games on 3DS and will probably get this although looking forward to SMTV more

Yokai Watch 4 is one of the best selling Switch games in Japan. Please localise it.

Good to see Yokai Watch 4 made the list even if only just scraped in. Would love to see a western release

Gonna wait for the reviews of this and SOS to see if either is any good. Might have to wait for Rune Factory 5 if that is still coming out
