Breaking: Konami has announced it's bringing Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 to the Switch and Switch 2 on 27th August 2026.

"Introducing the second installment of the collection, featuring the first-ever port of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker! Release on Aug 27, 2026! In addition to Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (HD Collection version), this collection includes the series' first handheld game and a digital soundtrack as purchase bonuses."

Konami has confirmed the physical version of the Switch 2 release is a Game-Key Card. On Switch, some of the data will be on the game card, but it seems you'll have to download the rest of the collection.
