I’ve been crossing my fingers for a new logo and Capcom delivered. BOOM. Thank you Capcom you’ve been listening to your fans. I can’t believe we finally got a brand new logo after all these years our wishes for this franchise have finally come true and then some. WOW

I’ve played it for a few hours. The frame rate is good and so are the visuals. There is a bit too much pop-in but overall I’m happy.

I got it for free on my iPhone and can play 4 different tribes which is all I need. Decent enough but way overpriced on Switch. Try it for free on your mobile before parting with your cash is my recommendation

I got FIFA19 physical for AUD$9 (approx US$6) and for that price it’s great. I’m not paying to update when it’s just a legacy edition of my FIFA19 game. With over 110 million Switch owners this practice does not make much business sense along with not releasing a Madden game on Switch. EA have missed out on a tonne of cash imo.

What a mess. Aspyr is not what you should aspire to be.

GTA trilogy on Switch currently has a metacritic score of 46. Sure it’s not perfect but I think it is a great time. It got a lot of hate because a few songs are missing (around 10%) but not only do I like it I would actually recommend it.

I bought this way back in the day on my 3DS on a sale and never really put much time into it so it’s kind of in my backlog where it might stay for eternity. Sounds like a good game and a great update

@SwitchedOn_Games Yeah but as they are currently charging money for it I agree with Ooyah that it’s not a good thing to be proud of. They’re fixing a broken game that they charged you money for. That is the bare minimum IMO. Shouldn’t be selling u a defective product in the first place

I think the HD-2D is nice but it’s good not to overdo it. If too many games were in this style it might oversaturate the market and people might get fed up with it. That said I can’t wait for Octopath Traveller II

Although the graphics aren’t cutting edge the art style is still nice. More importantly it looks fun with plenty to do. Looking forward to it along with Octopath Traveller II

Remember the SNES days when everything came with Nintendo Seal of Approval guaranteeing quality & satisfaction. I wish Nintendo would set standards and requirements as the eshop has a ridiculous amount of shovelware.

At some stage they need to release Soul Hackers 2 on Switch if they want to give it any chance of success.

I’m definitely tempted because the price of the game is very reasonable in Australia unlike P5R.

How can u review this game and neglect to mention that it’s a 52 GB download or about 38 GB if you get the physical?. This factor will be a dealbreaker for some as it’s probably the heftiest game there is on switch and is actually the reason I will not purchase. I therefore rate this review (not the game) a 2/10. C’mon this is important and needs to be mentioned.

Dying Light & GTA amongst others are on the system so this reasoning is stupid as well as being financially stupid as the install base is over 110 million. If the reason is that the technical limitations would create a sub par result on switch then I would understand.

Disappointed that it wasn’t Arise announced and don’t like the graphical style so I’m a little underwhelmed but if it reviews well maybe I’ll give it a go

Do the graphics in Disney Speedstorm look 10 times better than Mario Kart? I think Nintendo need to hurry up and make Mario Kart 9 cos MK8 looks crusty even with the new courses

I picked it up for the price of a burger so am happy about this update and can wait a little longer

Nintendo Life should reach out to the publisher for comment to give them a chance to defend these allegations. If they don’t respond then they’re probably guilty

My decision to buy Splatoon 3 depends on good single player story/campaign mode so I’ll be watching this. Also interested to see if Harvestella will be better than Rune Factory 5

If there was a drop in sales combined with it being hard to acquire a new console in stores then i would agree. However the truth is I can get a Switch in multiple models and multiple stores without having to preorder which means there’s less demand for the console. Nintendo can deny all they want but they need to ready Switch U for Xmas next year

Yo-kai Watch 3 and not just because it’s rare. I’ve put 600 hours into that sucker which is more than any other game I have played.

If they add local multiplayer I’d be tempted

This looks amazing. This along with Nier Automata, No Mans Sky & Persona 5 Royal is making October an incredible month. My wallet will not be happy.

If someone teaches the developer the ABC’s of compression or just mention to them that compression is a thing I’ll buy this. However if it’s a 50GB download again for a basketball game then they can forget it.

Glad it’s not a cloud version. If this runs decently and looks ok I’ll get it. Hopefully the whole game is on the cart and there’s no hefty download with the physical edition.

It still looks like Stardew Valley, even some of the fonts. When they said they were redesigning some assets well let’s say they need to redesign alot more if they’re serious

@EVIL-C I hope you’re right but I highly doubt it. Nintendo charges and therefore profits too much from the 32GB proprietary cartridges. It’s rare that a publisher will use more than a 16GB cart for this reason. Unfortunately The Witcher 3 is a very rare exception. I blame Nintendo for this more than the publisher.

Atlus are either stupid or annoying. They know that Switch owners want a mainline Persona game (preferably P5R but we’d take P4G) instead they give us spin-off games only. There’s over 100 million Switch owners so I have to ask what are they doing? Do they not want easy money?

I’m very reluctant to pay FULL price for a 2D side scroller pretty much since Super Mario 64 brought us 3D platformers last century. Therefore as Star Allies was not $20 I didn’t pick it up. They tried harder and succeeded with Forgotten Land so I purchased it. Great game and It deserves to sell 5 million+

I love glitzy graphics and normally never touch a game with retro graphics. I read the reviews and ended up sinking over 100 hours into this game which is a bargain for how much gameplay you get. I still think it looks ugly, really ugly.

Apparently the complaints go back to 2015 which is under Reggie’s watch. According to an article in kotaku contracters were kept on contract for 10 years or more without getting made permanent. Reggie you’ve only been gone 3 years. The article if true is hard to read, and disgusting treatment of staff. Whilst ex-employee Reggie has responded Nintendo has not and their silence is damning.

There were approximately 279 Yokai Watch games localised for the 3DS yet we can’t get even one Yokai game localised for the Switch. There are so many JRPG and visual novels on the eshop that have been localised that I’ve never heard of that won’t sell that I can’t understand this at all

I’m old school so I don’t like this. But then again I have an issue with games being digital only, micro transactions and paid DLC (especially if it’s day one) - That said if I don’t like it I just don’t buy it. Simple

Not going to bother with this. It’ll be interesting to see how many millions this sells.
