Too expensive for such old games even though having it in widescreen would be great. I’m really hyped for Frontiers though

I forgot about this game. Looks interesting so if it reviews well with enough content and not too pricey I’ll pick it up.

N64 was amazing. Playing Super Mario 64, a real 3D game was a giant leap and then Goldeneye which was an amazing first-person shooter were such mammoth leaps from the previous console generation and left me with a sense of wonder which has never been topped since. N64 was the golden era for me.

@Ryo_Hazuki I would agree. I love Nintendo games and Nintendo consoles but the company itself not so much. I can understand why BUT they’re over zealous IMO compared to other companies.

Maybe Nintendo should seize all copies of Advance Wars on the DS out of respect for Ukraine. I respect Ukraine and the immense difficulties they’re facing but this is a cartoon games FFS. There’s Tiny Tanks and all sorts of war games on the Switch and other consoles which are still being sold. I understand the sentiment but I don’t think it’s really that relevant unless the game is referencing Ukraine

I want decent multiplayer but I need a great single player for me to buy so far it looks good in that dept.

I want CoD with a single player campaign or I won’t buy. I hope we get MWR

Preferred Fenyx to BOTW. No weapons breaking or annoying, unrealistic and ridiculous storms electrocuting you and your weapons, just a good game without the stupid frustrations of BOTW

I’ve got over 100 switch games and have never purchased a cloud game and do not intend to so if this runs natively and gets decent reviews for the switch I’ll buy it

It looks like Stardew Valley with better graphics. I loved Stardew Valley even though I hated the graphics of the game so I’m really interested in this.

At 1000 days and counting. It’s getting to the ridiculous stage now. Are they trying to compete with George RR Martin? Maybe they should reveal further down the development cycle because this situation is just stupid

I don’t normally purchase these types of games but I’m having a pretty good time with it and it looks good. Load times break the immersion somewhat and it’a 20GB download (or 6GB if you have the physical) but I would recommend purchasing especially if you see it discounted.

Slim pickings indeed. Steamworld & Harvest Moon is that it? (and other games no-one's ever heard of.) Not exactly heavy hitters in that list. Think I'll pass as I'd rather spend money on the Switch store. Hopefully Nintendo can give us a proper 3DS sale before they close the eshop but somehow I doubt it.

The performance is fine now so my only gripe is the missing songs on the radio stations. If you have been holding off purchasing because of the performance then that’s no longer much of a problem

Not a Warriors fan at all. I was holding off getting Three Houses due to the rumors of a new Fire Emblem game but this is not what I was hoping for so I will now purchase Three Houses

50% permanent price cut in America but only 33% in Australia. I hate how some regions get shafted, and no I don’t want to set up multiple accounts as that would be a pain for me. Still a price cut of a good game is good news.

Quite possibly the worst month that I can possibly remember. There is no new first party Nintendo games being released. It's basically a month of indies with an Assassin's Creed game. When a really old Assassin's creed game is the highlight of the month you know it's a bad month. Lucky I've got a backlog & the new Pokemon game. March onwards to March and things pick up but February is slim pickings indeed.

I would love to see this remastered (as I loved this back in the day) like Shadowman was. Unfortunately Rare is owned by Microsoft so we can’t even get Rare Replay

After changing Immortals Fenyx Rising (Great game BTW) With the Pokémon Arceus cartridge The downgrade in graphics was jarring. They’re still OK and I’m excited to get into the game. Thankfully the graphics are not as poor as Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl as the graphics in that stopped me from purchasing it. Top down games like Links Awakening can look beautiful so there is no excuse for how ugly Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are.

It feels and looks like a mainline game and would’ve had a big development budget, certainly a bigger budget than that ios/android looking game they just released BD/SP. Furthermore the Pokémon company refers to it as a mainline game except the title of the game clearly shows it’s a spin-off otherwise it would’ve been titled Pokémon Arceus. By having a Legends series it makes it a spin-off

Kirby and the Forgotten Land is all I need. I’ve got too many 2D platformers so not interested in that. Also don’t want a Kirby fighting or party game but a Kirby racer or RPG might be ok. I’m daydreaming now….

Is it any good? When does the review embargo end? When are Nintendo Life planning on posting their review as I’m keen for this.

Rare have gradually died a slow cancerous death since being acquired by Microsoft. It’s terminal now for them. Shame

I just want to know if it is any good as I might get this day one but don't want a GTA trilogy situation. Lucky I didn't purchase that day one and that's only because there was no physical release.

Doesn’t seem to be much collecting of bricks. The combat seems to be more varied. Heaps of different locations. The graphics look great. It looks amazing and a big step up from your standard Lego games. Can’t wait for this.

@popey1980 Agreed, surely they could do a deal with Nintendo or Bandai Namco to localise it. 3DS had Yokai Watch 1,2,3 and Blasters localised so surely it would make sense to have Yokai Watch 4 as a sole entry in the series localised on Switch. I don’t get it.

Not impressed with the visuals, not much variety of trees, most of them look the same.

This is concerning for me. The Switch’s success is that it is a hybrid console with Nintendo exclusive games such as Mario, Zelda and Pokémon coupled with the best third party support Nintendo has ever had. If we take away 3rd party support from big developers like Bethesda and Activision/Blizzard and possibly more we might end up with a Wii U situation. As much as Mario, Zelda and Pokémon games are desirable good 3rd party support from AAA developers is also essential.
