Megaman 2 was my first so it holds the place as my favorite. It has my favorite stage music and I like its robot masters the best. 3 I didn’t get around to until much later but I can see how some may like it the most. It had some cool new features added in and it was a longer game. I liked being able to fight Megaman 2 bosses with Megaman 3 powers.

I’d like to see fire pro wrestling come to switch as well. There was talks of bringing the last one on switch sometime ago but it never happened.

@DogDetective thanks from the insight. From what I’ve gathered heroes of hammerwatch was a rogue lite that was the favorite of the bunch while this one is more like the first game following a story but without local coop and maybe some issues with controls. It just looked like classic gauntlet to me which I would love to return to. Gauntlet legends I’d love to play those games again.

@DogDetective how is hammerwatch 2? I’ve been considering picking up one of them but I’ve heard conflicting things.

I’ve been playing on Star Wars Jedi survivor as well as some Overwatch 2 here and there after I’ve been off of it for over a year.

Yes we now are more likely than capable to forge ourselves on Mario kart tracks but I do wish we could customize our own cups and design a set number of tracks and the tracks we want to race on in vs. If we ever got another 4 to make it to a 100 total Wario Colloseum GCN, Dino Dino Jungle GCN, Toad Factory GCN, Dry Dry Ruins Wii would be my picks.

I wonder if this is the very same group that actually worked on timesplitters? These chaps look so young to have been around way back in 2005. I was really hoping we’d get a resurgence to these great games but here we are. Maybe one day the tooth mummy will rise up from the sands of time.

@Dom_31 very good question, or maybe they’ll patch in a costume of him in a black bandicoot mask and cape like the hamburglar.

Well as much flak as limited run gets they truly saved the day here. It does take a century to get your game but there’s quite a few people that wanted this physical including me so good on them for this one.

I personally like having physical just because if its a game I really like I’d like to know I don’t have to rely on an online service to be up and running to download the thing if my system breaks down. It’s also nice just to have and hold like a book over an ebook, tho I do miss having game manuals in a game. I do think we are getting further and further from physical media tho. Department stores seem to push more digital, and some are even looking into going strictly digital on games. I do prefer digital in my Xbox tho as so far they at least keep most of the games backwards compatibile.

I’m working on robocop rogue city right now. It’s a pretty good time. You definitely feel like robocop in this one. He’s about as heavy and slow as an old dodge pickup.

Great to hear. I plan on picking this up soon after the first wave of dlc releases. I can see the developers effort in this one.

Serenade of water is my jam here. I always loved its melody and where you end up when you played it, right near the fishing hole!

It’s too soon for a Dave the diver discount but that’s really what I’ve been waiting for. From the demo it’s worth a buy outright but I’m waiting to see if we get a physical release still. On here is a lot of good games anyone could consider but I’m a glutton that has most I’d care to have and most I have not had the time to complete.

I still have mine in the plastic but do intend to play it eventually. I’d like 2 and 3 tho still.

I thought I read there would be a physical at some point. I will want it to go with the first two, I never played this one.

How does world of horror stack up to these?

Well much like smash bros, it will be sad to not be seeing more in line for this but it’s time to move on I suppose. It will be hard to top this one as it’s stuffed to the gills but such a great time to be had with this one. I do wish we got some more battle courses thrown in and I could do without the tour tracks for other classic tracks but this game gave me more than enough content to be worth the purchase.

Well this is disappointing to see. I did like the last game, it and rivals of aether were pretty good at being a smash bros like game. I will get this on Xbox then. It does seem like a good game on other platforms at least.

I’m interested in all that’s listed here with the exception of another code. I’m not familiar with this game at all so I’ll have to look into it. Another game coming this year but it’s not an exclusive to look out for is pizza tower. If we aren’t getting a wario world anytime soon this looks like a great alternative.

Yes this is well deserved. Pikmin 4 is a masterpiece. I had a great time 100%ing this one. I’m happy to know we will be seeing more from this one.

This is so creepy and weird looking, I’m intrigued by it. I haven’t played too many games like this either. Rogue-likes have nearly invaded every genre of game now. I guess RTS and racing haven’t had a crack at it yet but I’d say it’s just around the bend.

I too would like a physical copy of this and alien hominid hd but who knows when or if that would happen. Just look at how long it took to get castle crashers physically. I may just get invasion for now and if they ever bring both out physical, I may pick that up.

@Tasuki wow ken Griffey jr. Baseball for the snes is my favorite all time baseball game, and I’m not really a baseball fan but that game was great! Now I want to play that again.

@DogDetective it looks great and seems to really capture the feel of robocop. The terminator game this team did also I’ve heard is a faithful rendition to the movies, have you tried it?

There’s too much honestly to play and not enough time since i work. It will most likely be vampire survivors and a little star ocean on break from work. I really want to try the new robocop game, the rerelease of terminator resistance, cyberpunk, and alien hominid hd/invasion. Lots of pretty things out there but I’ll be waiting for some sales first.

@Coolmusic for some reason I read this and had a different Disney movie in mind. I’m hearing Andy from Toy Story talking to his mom about bringing his new Buzz light year to pizza planet. But I definitely can see the Maui comparisons.

I deleted Overwatch sometime ago but I miss the old Overwatch. If it had kept the 6v6 model and kept tanks as they were I would probably still be on that game. It was the best multiplayer experience I ever had but it’s missing a lot of its old charm now for me. I even liked the lootboxes of old just fine and only once did I ever pay for a few.

I’m excited for this one and will get it but my only concern is this being a joy con only game. Joy cons just don’t hold up. As much as I love my switch and the wonderful lot of games for it, those joy cons are its achilles heel. I really only play with standard controllers.

Yeah I’m very interested in this. The top racer crossroads I’ve never heard of. I had no clue there was a crossover game with top gear and horizon chase. I recognized the track in the video from horizon chase turbo a game clearly inspired by top gear.

For me Luigi’s Mansion is the penultimate ghost busting experience. The “09” ghostbusters game I do consider good but not much else has come close from that franchise. I’d love to see a truly great game come out for the series tho, it’s such a fun concept of searching out a creepy ghost, luring it out and then photon beaming it’s slimy little bits in the trap.

@Matl I’m kindve with you on this. So far I’ve had a great time with this and do appreciate the variety in stages on hand. I do wish there were a few more moves to perform like a dive or backflip(which I never used) but something does seem to be missing for me when you compare this to new super Mario bros. I like this game better I think but it just seems like there is less in your repertoire from moves and power ups. The elephant power was pretty lackluster but the others are pretty good. I’d personally like some more returning like the frog suit or something. Also the music just doesn’t stick with me for the first time ever in a Mario game. That’s very strange.

These games deserved so much better. Truly it’s a shame how this was handled. Most of the games here are fir the first time being made available on a Nintendo platform, which should’ve been a big win, but in this case…it’s not. If volume 2 finds its way to switch I can’t imagine things will improve at all.

I want to eat these! Ok I’ll add it to the wishlist, it looks fun.

I wish they would’ve just scrapped the battle mode and went with a chao garden instead. That was always a fun side gig for sonic but really the single player is pretty much all I play. This looks decent but I’m not in any rush to play it.

I wish Nintendo would stand up and accept the challenge. I’d love a n64 classic just to play some of the great first party titles from that gen but it’s true many have aged like sour cheese.

It’s strange not seeing a post from Zuljares(sp?) here lately. Hope all is well. I will be on pikmin 4 and am currently 100%ing it into the post game now. It’s been an excellent playthrough but I’d like to wrap it up so I can turn my focus to Mario wonder. Mario Party will probably also get some play with my wife and daughter, we have a fall festival to attend so it’ll have to be later.

This looks like a barrel of monkeys. I cannot wait to jump into this and play those pda games again! I would love to see this get a physical like castle crashers did.

Yes this does look interesting and weird. It’s a good team making it to so I see some real potential.

I do like this red switch a lot but I’ll wait until I hear more about its successor. If super switch isn’t backwards compatible then I may get this one. I will have to replace my original at some point I’d imagine.

Wow it appears a dodged a bullet here. I had this game ordered but canceled some time ago because I didn’t think all the hack n slash would hold me. I’m glad I did. I’m very suprised tho this game initially had my attention and when is dragon quest ever this bad???

I’m guessing you cannot play this on a switch lite. It does look fun I just don’t have very good joy cons at the moment to enjoy this.

Hopefully we get a more stable game in the future with updates. I loved the first game so much but I’ll hold off for now until we get a better game and maybe a physical one.

Mario Wonder of course! If Sonic is actually good, I’ll get it. Trip World I have ordered physically already. Wargroove 2 I’m just waiting to get it physical but I do want it. Detective pikachu and the sticker game look pretty neat but I’ll have to see how they are first.

@Kidfunkadelic83 yeah the last game was brutal and advance wars, those can be brutal as well. Hopefully this one eases you in a bit more but I still love them.

These are great additions but I’d like it if we got some gba additions as well, maybe even some new racers that way.

I went ahead and preordered as well. The save states and map will be great to have. I’m surprised there’s no rewind tho.

How is the peacemaker the son of T1000?? I didnt think DC had any rights to the terminator series.

Yep not a bad game here in the bunch. I’ve never played climax or the Fzero AX version but I wish I had gotten the chance. I like the original just as much as GX, and they play very differently. I guess Fzero is about like Metroid for me. In Metroid you have great 2d and 3d games much like Fzero.

Nintendo losing their identity and becoming something else would be the saddest day in gaming for me. I play Xbox but Nintendo is my bread and butter for games. Even in nintendos darkest days, with next to no exclusives, they still produced consistent five star games. The only good I could see with Microsoft partnering up with Nintendo would be the online aspect of things but the trade off isn’t worth it.

More courses already is pretty awesome. I’m having a blast with this and the survival mode will be my favorite. I always loved the death race on X. I haven’t encountered a fire field track yet but surely that will be a part of the game. It’s hard to say what my favorite Fzero track is but fire field is up there.

I never will forget all those years ago in 03 I preordered viewtiful joe from GameStop and got a large joe bobblehead. It was very good quality I thought.
