@Ganner brother you have conquered Snowrunner. That is the epitome of perseverance and deep mechanics. If you can do that, you are the man with no fear as far as I can tell. I’d say give Fire Emblem a go if it interests you. Three Houses is probably my favorite, tho Engage was enjoyable for me minus the story bit. Path of Radiance on the ap is more of a challenge but very good and the gba games I’ve barely played but I should, they seemed enjoyable as well.

This weekend I’ve been doing some painting on the house which is definitely a chore. I have wound down some with Overwatch, Beyond Words, and Tomadachi Life. Beyond Words has been a very relaxing game, I love the music and all the unlocks you get. Scrabble has always been a favorite of mine and the boards in this game are quite challenging. I also love the little timesplitters easter eggs in there. Tomadachi life I’m enjoying pretty well. My daughter finds it hilarious so I’m having a good time with her, creating new Miis of Pokémon, Hello Kitty, and our own pets. I do wish there was a little more variety in personality traits tho. Animal Crossing has this same problem as of late. There really needs to be some grouchy inhabitants so you get some conflict from time to time.

Re: Talking Point: So, What Are Your First Impressions Of Splatoon Raiders?

TYRANACLES

It looks great to me so far. The only thing is I don’t know how long the campaign will stretch on for. You can play coop so there must be other modes outside of the story. I’ve always wanted a splatoon I could play local coop on with bots so maybe this will give me something like that to play with my daughter. It would’ve been nice if we could get some competitive modes like we traditionally got but maybe we will get plenty of content added over time for coop multiplayer.

This morning I completed RE 9 and what a ride that was. I will probably start a new run later this evening to try and get more credits for some of the unlockables. I’m not sure I’m ready for insanity on here tho from what I’ve heard. Classic was just right for me but some of the earlier in parts with Grace I could see being pretty hairy. I tried to not use any of the blood crafting with Grace my first run but that ended in the care center.

Aside from that maybe some Mario Tennis Fever with the family.

Re: Review: Marvel Maximum Collection (Switch) - A Decent Nostalgia Cake With A Konami Cherry On Top

TYRANACLES

This release I’m excited for primarily for X-men arcade. I hope it does well tho and we can get a volume 2. There’s a lot of good marvel games out there still from this era that would be great to revisit

I actually had hopes for the arcade game featured in X-men 97 would make it out as a game release. In that game you were fighting to escape mojo world and it was very reminiscent of the arcade game with different characters.

Re: Poll: Who's Your Favourite Resident Evil Playable Character?

TYRANACLES

It has to be Leon for me. I don’t especially like horror at all but I do love the guns and the massive amounts of resistance and with Leon you get plenty of action with the one liners to. He’s a a flashier Chris to me. I’d love to have a Leon and Krauser war buddies game.

And Barry where art tho??

Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For Super Mario Bros. Wonder On Switch 2

TYRANACLES

I totally see why some are passing on this for lack of new content but in my case it’s a buy. I gave my sister my switch copy to my sister some time ago, knowing I’d get this one. My daughter loved this game more than me even and wants to play Rosalina, so it’ll be a joy to have something to play with her. The Koopalings are a plus for me as well and the Phanto masks return will be fun.

Re: 50 Best Game Boy Advance Games Of All Time

TYRANACLES

Not a game I’d dispute to be in a to 50 list for gba but I really think a to 100 would’ve been a better number to go for. Theres just so many great games in the gba that are still worth mentioning. It’s probably my favorite strictly handheld gaming system.

Re: Poll: Who's Your Favourite Resident Evil Villain?

TYRANACLES

It’s Wesker if we’re talking villains but I voted Krauser, I’m a sucker for a big hulking henchman. Krauser goes out like a warrior, and I liked that for him. He was also pretty fun to play as in mercenaries, I just wish he never had to go and infect himself and get that big goofy eagle wing appendage.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (21st March)

TYRANACLES

I’ve been to Universal Studios all this week and today is our last day to wrap it up. So tomorrow will be our first day back home and away from the pup, so we’ll probably be recovering from all the hustle and bustle and just love on her. I’ll probably just play a little Pokémon fire red on the plane and that will be it. I do plan on starting to download Resident Evil Requiem and Ark Raiders tomorrow, not on my switch 2 tho.

Re: Switch 2's GameCube App Has Been Updated (Version 1.6.0)

TYRANACLES

I would be over the moon if they added the AX courses and machine parts to GX. I always wanted those, but I never had all the skill to unlock everything in GX anyway. It was a game stuck with and did improve on but it’s one of the most difficult games for me, I doubt I have the reflexes I had back in my teens to.

Re: Devolver's New 'Dungeon Scroller', Dark Scrolls, Is Packed With Retro Fantasy Goodness

TYRANACLES

This looks rather good. Doinksoft/Devolver usually know how to throw a good game together, and have their own original look that I appreciate. I to thought of gauntlet when I saw the thumbnail for this. The color coded classes dungeon crawling together is similar. I spent a lot of time on legends and dark legacy back in the day, I’d love to see it return, but this is good news on its own to.

Re: UK Charts: Pokémon Pokopia's Physical Troubles Continue As It Slips From The Podium

TYRANACLES

If game keys and digital really is the way Nintendo insists on going, I really hope they consider going with bigger storage next time. That’s my biggest issue with game keys. Games I can get on other platforms, that’s where I’ll get them digitally for better performance and to save space, luckily Nintendo at least gives us physical carts. Pokopia I will miss for now but if I ever see a good digital sale, then I’d happily pick it up, it looks great, but this would have been a day one buy physical for me.

Re: Marvel Maximum Collection Brings Six Superhero Titles To Switch This Month

TYRANACLES

@PKDuckman it is odd in the selection, no real rhyme or reason here. It has X-men arcade so that alone is worth it to me. We can only hope we get another colllection. I’d most like to have X-men mutant apocalypse but war of the gems, the two genesis games, Spider-Man arcade, and if they want to include the mandatory terrible game hulk snes or xmen nes would be a terrific candidate, can’t speak for Spider-Man nes tho.

Re: Nightdive's 'SiN Reloaded' Remaster Is Heading To Switch 1 & 2 This Year

TYRANACLES

@Warioware oh yes I had this on GC. The title screen always creeped me out. It’s third person and shortly after it released we got Future Perfect that did pay homage to second sight in a couple ways. The anti gravity arm attachment was something they played a lot with on TS3 after the sort of force powers you got in second sight, and the Freak/mutant character you could play as in multiplayer has the exact same face as Vattic, at least I think so. It was a decent game I thought and had an interesting enough story and atmosphere to jeep me invested. Great soundtrack to, like anything Free Radical had done.

Re: Mini Review: Minishoot' Adventures - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition - Zelda Meets Twin-Stick Shooter Make A Lovely Pairing

TYRANACLES

I’m so glad I tried this on gamepass, I’m not the biggest shooter fan, and at first glance this didn’t appeal to me but I immediately got sucked in once I tried it. It sort of plays like geometry wars with the twin stick controls but it is very much an adventure game like a Zelda. I beat this a couple days ago and didn’t 100% it but I could easily see myself playing this again someday on the switch.

Re: Nightdive's 'SiN Reloaded' Remaster Is Heading To Switch 1 & 2 This Year

TYRANACLES

@The_Nintendo_Expat honestly when I first saw it I thought it was the main villain from “who framed Roger rabbit”, when he toons out at the end. Creepy stuff.

Hopefully this will jog Noghtdives creative juices and get something in the works for some Timesplitters remasters. The main protagonist in that game modeled the teeny tiny shades as well. Whatever they are called , I think Vin Diesel in Riddick got that trend started. Those were decent games as well. I never saw the movies.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (7th March)

TYRANACLES

Thru the week I played Pokémon za and Overwatch mostly. I’m enjoying Pokémon fairly well but it definitely does lack something being in the city the whole time. Today I played some mini shoot adventures game which I’m really liking on gamepass. I’d for sure scoop this up on switch if a physical happens. I played a demo of children of morta and liked it enough to order a copy. This evening I plan on getting on Overwatch.

Re: He-Man's Arcade-Style Retro Brawler Locks In A Release Date For Switch

TYRANACLES

I’m glad this is a thing and it looks great. I wonder what happened to the GI Joe and Toxic Crusader games like this. I remember GI Joe left some bad impressions on people but I think this is the wrong genre for Joes. I’d personally like a hero shooter like Overwatch with cobra and Joes teams. They did do a game sort of like that I already, I didn’t try it but heard it wasn’t very good, well they need to do it again, and the right way, not with game mill and whoever they got to develop it.
