Pipistrello I have ordered and I’d like to find a physical of onimusha 2. I have recently ordered the first. I really like the look of this series and never have played them.

I’m sure Echoes we will see in the GameCube library. I’d love to see a return to 3 and the super Metroid remake they did on the 3 ds, I never got a chance to play, so I’d love to see that.

@Coolmusic yes that is quite puzzling. That is for sure the most glaring omission. I could see him as a Sagat myself, maybe even bring his uppercut back as a perk or something.

I just started playing this again actually and it’s been a lot of fun, there’s a few characters they switched up that I don’t like as well anymore.

I was hoping for local multiplayer in this one but not sure if that’s an option.

I knew we’d get this eventually, the question is how long will it take? I have a switch 2 on order but would be fine waiting on one. What I care about most in a system update is a boost in memory, that’s switches greatest weakness to me. Sure you can expand it but it’s a big price you pay and I’d see more value in doing just that with an oled model with a bright screen and robust internal storage. Patience usually pays off but I’d say we won’t see one of these for another 3-4 years.

Wow I’m impressed by this, it looks buttery smooth and the animations really stand out to me. This reminds me a bit of Sonic, not as fast but with the spin and the constant use of momentum leaping about the stages I could see the semblance. I’ll keep this in mind.

I think this looks pretty good. I’d like to see some combat items to blow the wheels off your opponents and maybe some leftover damage between races to repair your kit. That’d really give it a post apocalyptic feel, and it needs more trash fires smoldering in tin cans strung through out. That’d really make it pop.

This is a great game to play thru, I did on another console already. I’d really like the mass effects and fallouts on here.

First party it is then. At least for me first party is really where the games shine on a Nintendo platform. I’m sure we’ll see a price hike and fewer sales on 1st party but I’ll be there for their great games when physical is on offer.

This will be my first dive into a fantasy life game. I preordered one off of playasia and can’t wait to play it, I just hope it performs well. The capcom game I’ve ordered to, that will be my first time trying power stone which looks great. We really do need more 3d fighting games.

I’m actually playing the switch more, loading up on physical games I’ve missed. I have a switch 2 coming but part of me wants to just get a brand new oled instead to play all the great games I have. I don’t foresee the switch 2 having as many great physical releases at this point. I’m fine hanging my hat on the switch if that’s the case.

I was playing this this am and was thinking where is all this moon cheese coming from its way too plentiful, so I really loaded up on some cheesecake. I really like this little game, I’ve been playing it about every morning before work. I bought this for my daughter and some how I’ve taken over it.

@Stormcloudlive I’ve actually been interested in these games lately. I did read about how the controls are cumbersome so I went with the classic game. It still is clunky I think but they added touch controls so I dunno if it’s much better or not.

This weekend I’ll be taking the moms out to dinner near this place on the lake. I rented a golf cart so we’ll drive all over the park and hopefully enjoy the nice weather. I’m sure I’ll play some hello kitty island adventure a bit and I’ve recently returned to Overwatch on the X and it’s good to be back playing mystery heroes again.

Cool pool toy! I have fond memories of gex. I only played the first two and I’m sure they aren’t how I remember them as a kid but I’ll get the standard of this. Gex is a wild little guy I still like.

Hopefully they come up with something better than popping peanut guns and coconut grenades. Some sort of terraforming sandbox mode pounding chunks out of the land in local coop could be fun or I’d be down for some kongo drum battles.

I preordered Yasha on vgp for the physical but I’m not so sure it was something I really needed as it is another rogue lite but it looked decent and I do like the art and time period. Hopefully it’s a suprise sleeper.

Mario kart, donkey Kong, and Metroid are sure shots for me on switch 2. I’m considering grand bazaar tomagotchi plaza, and the new rune factory. I’ve never played any of these games or their series so not sure about them. Kirby star crossed and maybe the two Zelda upgrades physically I’m considering also just because I like those games so much.

For anyone who hasn’t played this game or the expansion, it’s definitely a good time. I’ve already played thru and beaten this so I don’t believe I’ll be revisiting it but I really hope it does well. These developers are one of the few good guys these days as they’re going the extra mile for physical collectors. I’ve never played a rune factory or that many harvest moon/story of seasons games but I’ll probably get them since there’s not much else physical I’ll be getting for switch 2.

I won’t bother with key cards. I won’t want to use up much space on my switch so games I can play elsewhere I’ll just download them on that with more space on my other options. From here on out I’ll be saving more money I think on games which isn’t a bad thing for me. I will be getting the card releases of games I like. Yeah it’s going to be more than I’m used to spending on a game here out but I’m thinking the games I get will be worth it.

This is wonderful news! I’ve been waiting on this release. Itll be great to have the Casey dlc along with a mystery dlc.

I would like to see user reviews on the shop for each game and more demos would be welcome as well. Being able to write and look at other peoples experiences with a catchy shop tune in the background tho would really be nice.

I doubt I’ll go back to this one since I’ve best it elsewhere. It was a very good game tho. This game had quite a turnaround from where it started all those years ago. This game and mass effect andromeda were probably my two biggest let downs on initial release. At least cyberpunk brought it back.

@Freek beyond the ice palace interests me. I’ve read the platforming is sluggish with the chain and that’s what’s holding me back.

I think Nintendolife should have made this what games are complete on the cart instead of what game keys were getting. It would make for a less congested list.

My wife got me one as an early bday and Father’s Day present. I couldn’t ever get thru and she walked in the living room and told me she had me one and to come to bed haha. I’ll likely grab Mario kart and a couple of pro controllers at some point and I need to look into a good sized sd card also.

We need more games this price and this size on switch.

Is this dlc and performance patches on the cart for the switch 2 games?

I do not feel nearly as hyped for this system launch as I have any other Nintendo system before it. Mario kart and donkey Kong look great but everything else shown I’m into I can play on the switch. I’m plenty happy having Mario kart as its only launch day one must have but the price hike coupled with the fear of a widely digital game front for the future in limited storage is a major bummer for me. I’ll try and get this when I can for sure but I don’t believe I’ll be buying as much for this thing if it’s going to be mostly key cards or digital which may be a good thing for me anyway for the price. I’m happy it can play most of the switch physical games I have tho, I have plenty to occupy myself with as it is.

If they don’t have enough for their own mothership I’m sure everyone else will be limited to even a greater degree.

For games not mentioned I’d like, timesplitters future perfect, gauntlet legends dark legacy, xmen legends 1 and 2, twilight princess, 007 nightfire, Mario tennis, Metal Arms, Mario party 4 and 5, ultimate muscle, def jam vendetta, Metroid prime 2, cubivore, freedom fighters. I’d be suprised if anything I mentioned that’s not first party would ever show up here tho.

I much preferred Skyrim to this but that’s the extent of my elder scrolls experience, oh and the online game for a bit but couldn’t get into that. This game could use a good remake tho. I’d love to see something fallout for the switch 2.

@JohnnyMind you as well. I’m sure we’ll have a whole new generation of fun at our finger tips soon enough.

My biggest questions are what is going on with the semi truck pulling the trailer under the players control and these meals you get from the Yoshi stops, do they cost something or you only get one every so often?

I’m happy to hear we finally have a date in the west, I’ll try and get one with a pro controller, Mario kart, and I’d like to see about and sd card in the future. I’m not sure where to get the right express card in 1 tb size for a good price. It is pricey but that’s just how things are going to be for awhile. Groceries are bad enough. I’ll just have to be choosy on which games I buy moving on.

@andyg1412 well that’s good to know they’re there if I ever can muster up the strength to get those. It’s been so long I know I unlocked a fourth cup all those years ago but man that game was tough as nails I never did it all I know that. No matter tho, I still love Fzero.

Oh yeah I like that snowman definitely. I was thinking the long neck bird was espresso from donkey Kong but now I see it’s that thing from 3d world. I’ll be interested in learning its actual name. Yeah there’s some deep cuts here but that’s pretty cool. Hopefully king bob omb is here.

@andyg1412 really? I honestly had no idea. I thought you had to play the arcade game for those, I knew some of the ship parts you did. I probably never unlocked them I know I never made it through the campaign.

It look great even at that awful $80 price point. I hope it gets free updates, then I’d have no problem at that price. It seems they did away with picking your glider and wheel set for each cart. I’m most excited for the open world to explore.

It’d be so cool if we could somehow have the AX courses and racer parts patched into this game to play. At least the racer parts could be unlocked since you could have them in GX anyway if you played the arcade version and had them uploaded to your memory card.

That’s not a bad price in some regions but for me, I’ll probably get it in other hardware primarily to save storage space on the switch 2. Unfortunately I won’t be buying anything for switch 2 that’s not either first party or on a physical cart because the internal storage is so limited and a decent size sd express card, you’d need at least a tb or 2 is quite pricey. Having to delete and download a game to make room is too inconvenient when I could just play elsewhere. Either way it is cool to have street fighter back in switch and my favorite fighter to this day soul caliber 2.

I went ahead and preordered this from amazon uk, even tho I thought the physical game wasn’t up for preorder. It’s still unavailable in the U.S. anyway. I don’t want to miss having these physically.

I’m looking forward to the Metroid game but I’m not sure if I’ll be getting it for switch or switch 2. One day I’ll get a switch 2 I’m sure but in metroids case I’ll go for switch one even if it’s a downgrade if it’s a key card release for the 2. Mario kart is probably my most wanted here tho followed by DK.

This is really fun but no way I’d pay for that. It’s going to be for any hardcore collector and I’m sure will be worth something one day as limited as it is.

$450 I think is reasonable enough. I’m not sure that’s what it’ll be here in the west but id be fine with that. I think the bigger issue is game prices and if we are going to have as many physical releases or not. It wouldn’t be as big of a problem on pricing if you could catch good sales on Nintendo games like you can a PlayStation game. An $80 game shouldn’t remain $80 for years and years.

I would absolutely love to have this and wind waker in physical form again, not a key tho please. Mario galaxy 2 is right up there with them to.

I’m sure the tariffs are a major factor in cost here which I can’t fault Nintendo on because they are a business. I’m not sure $80 for a game is right and I still don’t know what the system will actually cost in the states, but we can always wait it out if it’s too much, there are more important things. I’m maybe most saddened about what could be a major departure from physical games. I’ve just always liked buying Nintendo stuff physically because they do make my favorite products, it just feels cheap and so artificial digitally. Its funny tho thats how I play games on my Xbox but Nintendo I just like those games more and having them on my shelf. It’s just not what I’m used to I guess. I feel like I’ll hold on to the switch for a while now because I have so much left to play on there. I thought the showcase Nintendo had was excellent but all the news that’s coming out after is like having the rug pulled out from you. I’ve shifted from I want to preorder right away to a wait and see. That’s a first for me in Nintendo. So I am disappointed.

We really haven’t seen much of a jump in innovation in the last two or three generations I feel. We’re getting mostly rereleases of games from ps4/xbone with some upgrades but it’s really nothing new. I commend Nintendo for what they did with the switch and its portability and I’m ok with more of the same, tho I’d like something new. The price hikes I kindve saw coming but not $80 if that becomes a thing and who knows in the states what the console will really cost with the tariffs delaying a preorder. The move away from physical I guess was written on the wall to with everyone else doing it but it does put a damper on things. This is the first time I’ve ever held onto a past console to play and even intend on upgrading my old one to an oled solely to keep my physical games alive. I have bought so many for the switch and while we were told it would be backwards compatible, I’m hearing now it’s iffy on what all will actually be. I’m going to get one but I’m waiting to see more from it.

I probably won’t be buying as many games for my switch which is good considering the prices. Third party games I’ll get for Xbox, which I only buy for digitally. I just always liked the switch carts. I may get me a new oled model soon since I’ve only ever had my launch switch. One of my joy cons drifts and it could use an upgrade. I have such a large game collection for it and I’m starting to think I won’t be able to play all of my games, especially the limited print or import ones.
