@mariokirby485 I guess if something were to happen to whatever device you download it to and say the game is removed from the eshop you would no longer be able to download it on your new device.

I’ll be waiting for the physical as well. I have plenty to play as it is. I’m really looking forward to capcoms 2nd fighting collection for the power stone games. I’ve never played them but they look great.

I wouldn’t be suprised at all these games are so popular. I’m excited to play this one of course but I’m nowhere near as crazy for this series as most tho. Fighting games just aren’t my thing, soul caliber and injustice I’m more in line with. I think I’d like this series better if it was solely marvel characters and the jumping off screen thing always gave me a headache.

Still a lot to look forward to on my switch. I’ll be really happy to see more from professor Layton, fantasy life, and possibly anything yokai.

Yeah at first glimpse this looks a little rough to me. I want it to be good as I love the toons. I really liked the old snes looney toons basketball game all those years ago. I could sink some long 3s with wile e coyotes rocket strapped shots.

@anoyonmus I agree. That’s probably my favorite mortal Kombat, the original trilogy of course would be my next dream come true. I just don’t like how microtransaction heavy the last few have become. I miss when the crypt had more attainable unlockables. MK9 has my favorite roster and the best story mode. I’d really like to see a return to injustice in the switch but I do fear it’d push more in game purchases as well.

How much is this dlc?

I always liked cybernator well enough in the snes but I never beat it. I don’t see that this version has a rewind feature surprisingly. Also what exactly are the kids you get with this game?

This looks excellent and now the switch is even closer to having all the castlevanias I’d ever care to play. I’m optimistic we will get sotn and rondo of blood together and I’d be happy to see them include the returns game along with it. But by this time next year when we could get another one I’m thinking we’ll be awfully close to another Nintendo console.

I am going to restrain myself from pizza tower until the inevitable physical release, but it is very tempting. Castlevania, Tetris, and the capcom fighting collection are also very high on my most wanted list. This was an incredible showing for me.

Hopefully other yakuzas will follow. 0 was my favorite.

I’ve just about done all I care to do on paper Mario ttyd. Last night I completed the help board and got thru the pit and actually had to go back thru it partially again because I mistakingly level skipped over a chest floor. I could still complete the tattle log, recipe book, get some badges I don’t have, and there’s 3 hidden bosses I haven’t beaten. 1 I tried at a lower level, and it looked like it will be quite a challlenge.

Now I’ll probably play some Fzero 99 and I’d like to start alien isolation. I just recently picked up alien and never played it.

@NTELLIGENTMAN sure. Those games would give us three nice beatem ups. X-men mutant apocalypse is a favorite of mine on the snes. The bgm is incredible. I always wished it was a two player affair but the mission structure was made with solo in mind. It’s the only X-men game to probably ever feature Tusk to. I loved stomping those tusklings.

I got Minecraft for my child to play on their switch but they play it more often on their tablet because they have more stuff on there. I didn’t think the console versions had stuff like the trident on there. I thought ours was up to date but I’ll have to check.

My purchase is heavily dependent on what version of glover this is. The n64 version looks like a good way to go bald.

Capcom are doing great bringing us all our old favorites back, this looks beautiful! Only because Punisher is included here, I could’ve seen them adding X-men mutant apocalypse from the snes. I know it’s not an arcade title but it was released in the mvc arcade 1 up set and is from capcom. I’d have loved to played that game on here as well for one more great beatem up but this game will be plenty beefy without it still. Can’t wait…but I’ll have to.

I wonder if this will get a physical release. It’s a very odd inclusion to add new attacks and a new enemy type to the western release. I just don’t think I’ve ever seen that as a region exclusive alone. I actually imported this game and it’s playable in Japanese but it would have been nice to had some English to know what the heck the little golden poops I found are talking about! It’s a fun little game.

I’d like a chance to play the powerstone games the most and as far as beatem ups go the viewtiful joe series would be great. Capcom vs tatsunoko would be nice to.

I’ve been playing Oregon Trail for the very first time of my life on the switch. I absolutely love my time with it. I love the music, the atmosphere, and just all the random things that can happen to you, time will tell on how thin or girthy it be on content but im loving the unlocks of new scenarios, items, and characters. This game has me wondering if I’d like world of horror but that game is a bit too dark and gross out for me I think.

Paper Mario is so so good! It’s a timeless game that anyone should experience. I would really love to see them do a paper Luigi game all these years later recounting his rescue of princess eclaire in the waffle kingdom. It would be so cool to have with this game and you return to the very same rougeport as the hub between chapters to see Mario where I imagine each of his partners would recount his story to a grand audience. Poor Luigi would be the unsung hero of course.

This looks relaxing and I like the art style but is this a more grown up shin chan than the other game on switch. I was interested in that game but then noticed this kid runs around with his pants down, then I thought well that’s creepy and not for me.

This is great news for me if it really is a thing. I’ve never played these as I only really bought Nintendo games then but I do remember hearing of these. I’ll just be curious to try these as many did love this series. So I remember there being soul reaver where you were a hero that fed on souls but there was either a prequel or sequel of games maybe called blood omen but you are this white haired vampire I think. I’d just like to hopefully get the full set to try them and complete them.

Capcom getting all crazy with the vs games, what are the chances we’ll see tatsunoko getting a turn. I’d love to play that one again.

I have this still in the wrapping as I just have too much else to play but the more I see the less interested I become. I love classic Nintendo and grew up in it, but I’m not much of a speed runner. I did really like nes remix and the warioware games but this is not that unfortunately.

@Zuljaras have you ever tried Nightmare Creatures for the ps1 or N64? It seems right up your alley.

Im going to be playing Turok 1 and 2 some. I’m trying to determine if I want to get 3 from limited run now. I have one day until the preorders are over. I’m also considering Star Wars dark forces but these 90s shooters are a little tough for me to get into. They’re fun but I hate getting lost in them. Powerslave Exhumed was pretty cool but I got stuck in it and haven’t gone back.

Solar Herman makes me happy. That one takes me way back. I remember years later playing Astro lander on timesplitters 2 and thinking that was such a cool little throw in and would find myself playing it quite often because it’s very much like solar jetman. I love its beep boop soundtrack to, it captures the pure essence of space exploration in an uncharted world!

I know everyone is going to have a game or two that they think should’ve made the list here but one I’m really suprised didn’t make the cut is f-zero gx. It’s something we nearly always hear a good number of people mention in hopes of being a reveal in an upcoming direct. That would be a big one for me. Some other mentions I’d love to have access to on my switch are timesplitters 2 & 3, gauntlet legends dark legacy, rare replay, simpsons hit and run, X-men legends 1 & 2, marvel ultimate alliance 1 & 2, castlevania DS collection, Castlevania SotN and Rondo of blood dual pack, tatsunoko vs capcom, Metal Arms, Freedom Fighters, Def Jam FfNY.

@TheFox yeah I had good fun with 10, I did think we needed more boards there as well, I dunno…10 would’ve been a good count but still it was well worth the buy for what it had.

No big deal for this game. There’ll be plenty of stock.

Wow this looks like a very promising return to a long gone classic game. It’s crazy to me we are getting this along with a Mario rpg and paper Mario so close together. Nintendo can keep these coming!

I really don’t know why they can’t include more boards than 7 but this looks like a grand old time anyway. I’m loving what I’ve seen at this. Hopefully it offers pro controller support tho, I’m not touching those joy cons for this.

So happy we don’t have to wait long for this! It looks a blast and is quite a defining moment for Zelda. I expected to see her more in a open world setting, as she really became more prominent in the later games but I’m ready for a return to a more puzzle based game and I loved links awakening so it’s nice to see this again. We needed a shakeup from the open world Zelda as the last two were great but very similar.

It’s so nice to see perfect dark. I prefer it to goldeneye for the bot support in multiplayer.

I do want a new DK game and was a bit let down it was this but it’s such a good game and I don’t have it anymore. This release does include some 3ds levels I never got a chance at either so that sweetens things a bit.

I’ll definitely get this, mainly just because I love marvel and the characters look so nice. I’m not very good at these tho, they are extremely chaotic with fighters jumping in and out and fighters leaping high into the air for attacks. I’d almost rather watch someone that is good play this. I am kind of suprised they didn’t include war of the gems and X-men mutant apocalypse in here just because at least xmen was included in the 1up arcade cabinet. Those games are fantastic beat em ups tho they are solo experiences. The stage music hits so hard to.

I’d say this was one of the best directs in a long time. Especially when we all thought Nintendo would be winding things down for its successor. I was very happy with this one but on the other hand I kindve was looking forward to nintendos next outing being sooner. We still don’t know but it’s looking like it will be another year at least. A big new pretty Prime I’d almost rather debut on some strong new tech at this point but it looks amazing as is.

Mario and Luigi, Donkey Kong returns again, Phoenix Wright with a version we never got in the west, marvel vs capcom(I do wish they included war of the gems and X-men mutant apocalypse. Even tho these aren’t arcade they included the X-men game on a 1up arcade cabinet and they are fun beatem ups to go with the punisher), Zelda, Prime 4, Looney Toons sports I’ll keep watch on tho it didn’t look great to me( I really liked the old snes 2-2 basketball game), dragon quest 1-3 hd looks nice I’m just miffed a bit this is the second time we’ve seen this collection on switch ( I’ll sell my other one I guess), Mario Party looks bigger and better, and my daughter loves hello kitty and it actually looks pretty fun. There’s a lot to love here for me. I’d say my favorite reveal would be Zelda even with that stellar Prime reveal. I’m just happy to see another 2d top down Zelda and one where you actually play as her. This art style I’d like to see them keep for other 2d games or remakes as well as give us more of the 3d but a return hopefully to proper dungeons with hidden items for puzzles. Zelda and Link need their own game together at some point.

This has been nintendos Achilles heel for some time now. I love Nintendo but I do wish they had a better online infrastructure. They’ve got a ton of great party games but it’s hit or miss on what runs well enough to play. A good party system is sorely missing from Nintendo as well.

Eh we’ll see. The trailer was action packed at the start and then the actual game looks like tiny pixels on the screen. It looks fast and maybe challenging. I’ll keep an eye on it.

@Yosher this is a grievance I’ve also shared. It’s maddening how long it takes to get scales on here. At least I wish they’d do bonus Gaines on weekends or something like that.

I’ve loved my time with this splatoon, I just would like if they’d incorporate split screen with bots at some point. I’d like to play this with a friend or family at home and always have that option whenever servers are down and out.

Oh yes! I’ve been waiting for an update in this one. It will be so nice to have this again. Hopefully 2 is soon to follow.

It goes to show you this game is timeless and I’m so happy that others who have never played this before will get the chance to enjoy it. I really hope Nintendo put this out as a way to gauge if this is the formula that will work for paper Mario, because it really does.

I sure hope these games have more to offer here than just a better performing hi definition transfer. We have already got the first 3 games brought back to the switch, it was a lackluster job but they should have got it right the first time. I can’t think of any gen of gaming where we would get multiple failed attempts at the same game. If that’s the case, they won’t be receiving my support.

Haven’t we already gotten III on our switch? They had a 1-3 bundle I thought that were the mobile games. I’m sure this one would look nicer but I’d rather they give us another game from the line or builders 3 would.be much appreciated.

The switch really does have a great selection of remakes/remasters. A couple here I still would like to try are Star Wars dark forces and trials of mana. Dark forces I’m not sure would click for me, like powerslave on here those games play great but I really do not like how easily you can get lost on some of these shooters. Few shooters in my opinion have aged very well from that era.

@CaleBoi25 yes that’s it! It’s not a map I hear many bring up as one they liked but I remember always being happy it was in the rotation.

@The_Dragons_Mouth I agree, this splatfest wasn’t a high point for me. I don’t really like having 3 options either. Tri color battles just aren’t very fun to me and I don’t like having to face off against my own team pretty frequently.

And here I thought we weren’t getting anymore maps, tho it seems were only getting one this time instead of two. A classic map I’d like to see return was one from the first game and it was like hydro done or something? I could have sworn tho we weren’t getting any more new maps but that may have been for salmon run.

I think it’s a great idea. It just makes perfect since for Zelda to be the star of her own game. Maybe we could play as her in her own perspective from ocarina of time where she becomes a sheikah.

Waaah?!?! No weird talking fish??? No Spooky holes for eyes target minigame carney??? No Kiki the dependable tree to chimp??? I’m just happy to see link to the past get some icons, what a memorable game.

Well tha settles it, I’ll make a point to download good job as soon as I can. It’s been wishlisted for sometime but I never caught a sale on it. I hope the remasters of katamari don’t stop here, they’ve been great to have back.

I’ve barely gotten to touch it but my daughter absolutely loves it. So happy I got this because she really loves it. I’ll do my own run one day maybe. Too much to play, it’s hard for me to get away from splatoon now.

On a side note I think if we ever get another smash we may see a radical new change to a princess Peach kit. I’d say she’d be like Zelda was or Pokémon trainer where you have a few costumes to morph between with different moves. I’d like her to have her peach layout then cowgirl, bandit, and powersuit maybe but I know it’ll be another sword fighter here.
