This game is so much fun. I really don’t know why these are timed releases tho, I think if the kept them all services it would really help justify having an online account. A few more racers would be nice but I get they were going to stick with the original game here.

I remember this weird little guy that would shake his butt for some odd reason. This looks kindve fun actually.

I may be a fool but I love this game, I will be selling my original copy and getting this upgrade instead…just like I did streets of rage 4. Now full me 3 times on this one developer and I will only have myself to blame. At least I waited on getting this dlc.

Yes this is an interesting take on a princess peach game. I loved super princess peach back in the day but this looks far more original, and we still get peach in some Mario platformers these days anyway.

These directs always find a good way of making me want something I would never thought I needed. I was hoping for something different but I was very happy with getting paper Mario, contra, horizon chase 2, wargroove 2,
Fzero 99,warioware, Mario rpg, and peach footage was nice,Mario vs dk, tomb raider collection, Mario kart characters, and diver Dave or whatever looks kindve cool. Paper Mario takes the cake here tho and Fzero 99 at least gives me hopes that maybe we will get more if this does well.

I’ll probably wait and get this at retail, just maybe that one will have the dlc on cartridge.

I’d love to see something Zelda the oracle games getting the links awakening treatment or giving us that third installment that never was with the green sage would be the best. Twilight princess and windwaker hd would be nice. Metroid prime 4 and Fzero would have me elated like a whirling candy wrapper in a updraft!

I’m going to give this game a shot. I have it ordered but it always seemed daunting to me. I had the first one years ago on the wii and didn’t make it to the end as I just grew tired of all the chaos and wasn’t really into the story. This one seems to be easier to navigate anyway and I do like the music. I had considered going back to the first two if I like this one. 2 seems even more involved tho.

Wow they have really started from scratch on the ese guys, their move set looks completely different. They are this games version of Wario with the side special being a maneuverable vehicle and the down exploding gas. I’d love them to have an alternate attire as mad dog hoek and killer kadoogan from the wrestling episode.

So far the roster leak has been all right. Powder Toastman was one of my most played characters in the first one, so I hope he still makes it. They showed off what looks like his stage tho. Also hope oblina makes it back since there may be no aah real monster’s representative and catdog.

How about a a mummy’s alive beatem up or wacky racers racing game, space ghost scrolling shooter, a where in the world is Carmen San Diego trivia game, or a dinosaurs tomagotchi style raisemup where you not not the mama?! Seriously I can’t think of anything better than the articles already mentioned. An Xmen beatem up similar to the 1989 one would be a beast. Or just give us that game with more Xmen. Iceman, Rogue, Archangel, Jean, Psylock, Bishop/Cable, Beast, Gambit are all sorely missed.

I’ve never played these but it looks fun. I’ve never been the best at a RTS but red faction 2 with infinite money and warheads that game was real breezy. My first glance at this somehow got me thinking of freedom fighters. That was a fun 3rd person shooter with managing your squad tactics.

It’s very easy for me to say Fzero GX is the greatest thing sega has ever had their brand attached to.

@LikelySatan no kidding that game on cart now is sky high. It deserves a rerelease with as popular as it’s become. It could very well happen.

@jolteon23 how is Jedi survivor on the x? I’m waiting on getting that one because I had been hearing the performance wasn’t the best but the game looks amazing.

I’ll be playing thru sea of stars. I’m very early in, I just passed the mist trials and left tge first island. So far this has been a fun little game to play on gamepass. If it keeps the fun up I’ll get it physically for switch.

@YoshiFR2 I agree with you there. The coop antics you could have with bumping someone to a pit and then throwing someone in a pool of lava to exact your revenge was always part of the fun of the latest 2d Marios. I’m also not thrilled about Yoshi being an easy mode for the game as I’d actually like to play as different colored Yoshis but still have some challenge. All in all I’ll get it and like it I’m sure but it sounds like it’ll be a bit too easy with all the powerups.

@Human_Tornado what’s interesting about that is Raphael’s alternate attire is his rocker one from the old playmates toy line with the zebra pants.

I’m still wondering if Leo and Mikey will return for this one.

@the_beaver so that list of games you mentioned, have you tried the grandia hd collection or chrono cross switch games yet? I’m just curious if anyone has and what they think of them. I’ve recently got into grabbing a few classic rpgs for my switch and those I’d like to try but I had heard they don’t run all that great.

I’d be all about a new Pokémon pinball, the original I played so much. I just wonder what gen they’d cover? I’d love an all encompassing pinball game but I’d be surprised if they gave us all that. If I had to pick I’d go gen 2 I guess. The first 3 gens are my favorite since that’s the ones I started with.

This game is very addictive. I bought this on the Xbox after playing it on gamepass with all the dlc for the price of a sandwich. I hope this game keeps getting add ons.

Into the breach is fantastic and panzer paladin I thought was decent. I haven’t checked in awhile but I thought we had cybernator in the snes catalogue online, that’s one of my favorite all time mech games, metal warriors snes to.

This looks very nice but I can hold off. Streets of rage 4 rereleased physically with all its dlc, this could follow suite.

I’m happy to see this get a chance in the switch. I’ll only buy this physical tho if it releases. The pdf games were my favorite part of the package and the run and gun portion was decent but extremely hard I thought, but most games of this genre are. Behemoths other game battle block theatre I hope doesn’t get forgotten, I’d love to get a chance to collect some of those crazy heads I never got to collect. Pit people I can live without tho, it was there one miss I thought.

I’d really like to have the snes trilogy and also the excellent Indiana jones game. The rogue squadron and rogue leader games tho are what I really want tho. If they could just give us rogue squadron with the 2 player support, that would be so nice.

This looks great. The last good punch out-like I played was that one gladiator game in the wii that was surprisingly good. I never tried the one we got on switch with the duck and the black and white backgrounds. I’m looking forward to this and the doughboy paper Mario clone.

Where can we preorder this, the standard version??? If you’ve been waiting on a physical of this, like I have, you’ve got stamina! I love this game and bought it way back on the 360 but have always wanted it on the switch.

It’s much deserved. I just beat this game in my birthday of all days. I’ve sunk a lot of time into this one and finally saw it thru to the end. It wrapped up so nicely and so far this will be my game of the year and also my favorite game this gen.

@Alex79uk @Alex79uk this takes me back. I can remember on perfect dark back in the day you could crouch and I think if you held it down or something it had a feature to make your part of the screen black to block what others could see. Thats the only time I’ve ever seen a feature like that in a game but it was fun, sort of an annoying little thing you could do to people like on Mario golf toadstool tour where you could spam comments on the put ins.

@ancientlii I probably should have worded that better. I just haven’t seen their posts in a long time but so still remember them.

I can remember with the gta trilogy we got many people had wished we had got just a lazy port of that since it cut out some things and added in hosts of new bugs. It’s no excuse tho, these games deserve to be handled better.

In honor of the late great Blood Ninja on this site, Ninja approved! This game looks fantastic and I love the music. I remember being blown away by this on the wii eshop years ago. It definitely has my my eye. Of course I’m hoping for a physical release to go with my other natsume classics.

I’m onboard with this one, it does look like quite an improvement to the first which I liked. I’m waiting to see how all the new modes are tho because the first one didn’t last me as long because it was a little light.

I’ll take the Scandinavian Zangief-alike! From the videos I’ve watched the grappler with the bear skin on his head looks like a lot of fun to play as. This game looks rather good, and I love the pocket fighter games. Amazon has a physical preorder for this game also.

@nocdaes yeah I’ve pretty much put this one behind me. I had it on a list on Amazon for a possible pick up on down the line but I’ve removed it. Mario will have me covered here just fine.

@Toothball that’s hysterical actually. I think these tags are a play on mad libs from wat back in the day. Splatoon is a great big throwback to 90s stuff anyway so I thought the tags were pretty clever and made me think back to them.

@Inkless it’s great to see another fellow that’s a conehead among us. I used massive forehead for a very long time, I had a good run with that one but currently otherworldly snowstorm is my go to. I’ve been in a lost planet mood lately.

I’ve noticed a lot of splatoon pervs like using the “head” tagline. Like I can’t tell you how many “climactic head” or “explosive head” tags I’ve seen…It’s a good thing splatoon doesn’t have a draw your own calling card background like cod had.

It’s a shame but I don’t believe iveveven unwrapped this game. I just have had too many other things to play. But I would like to try this someday.

There’s a few games here that have my interest. There’s not really any big heavy hitters for me here but I am curious about some. Mortal Kombat maybe for the Xbox but much later after all the dlc drops and stuff, just like on how I’ve waited on street fighter 6. Moon I’d like to give a second chance maybe on the physical release, I love the art of the game and how odd ot is but actually playing the game is a bit confusing to me. It’s a game I’d almost rather watch someone play that knows what they’re doing. Tunic I just got from the post and it’s amazing. Gimmick I have coming, Taito milestones I need to see a games list on, the missing pieces of Mr. Coo looks very odd to me but in a good way, and pocket bravery I’m waiting to see on because I love the old neo geo pocket fighters of old.

I don’t think it would ever have been enough. Smash ultimate is one of my favorite games of all time so more characters and stages are more than welcome. Most of the dlc characters I would’ve replaced with other characters but I will say each one was very well done and the stages and music was all welcome for me. I would’ve taken whatever Sakurai would’ve dished out for us. I guess if I could pick a third wave it would be excitebike, captain toad, waluigi, pig ganon, paper Mario.

I want to like this one but I’m not entirely sold by it. The animations are fine but I’m not big on the zoomed out look and the backgrounds seem very flat to me. It seems to have good platforming tho and being coop is a plus.

I actually really enjoyed the first one. I’d like to see them add a bit more in modes and stage design for this one those were the biggest weaknesses for me. All in all I had a good time with it so far it looks like they are going to add a good deal more to this one.

Ludicrous edition eh, looks like Luda not only can fill cups like double Ds but a baddie full of lead.

This games shaping up nicely. I’d have liked to had Goro as a playable brute but there’s plenty here to try. Mortal kombat has one of the deepest rosters for a fighter. If they do a reboot of MK 2 that will be the one I’ll be most happy for as it’s my favorite classic game.

This poll is truly a testament to how great Nintendo really is. If this many games can stay on the shelf and they still be able to find success with some others that’s nothing short of remarkable. It was tough to pick just one but I went with fzero.

I’ll be so happy to pick this one up tho I do feel a bit spoiled on all the games I have yet to even finish yet. Pikmin 4 looks incredible to me, I’ve loved 1-3 so far.

For me Fzero Gx squeezes past X because of the shinier graphics, more insane tracks, and I prefer the soundtrack over X’s. X sounds more metal but GX has its metal tracks but I don’t know really what you’d call it’s genre that makes up for it, it’s a bit techno or electronica I guess, whatever it is it fits the futuristic look of it.

We could’ve used a poll here to determine the favorite. I’m going woth circle of the moon I think, even tho I really like the Dracula x cover but it’s the weakest game here and doesn’t really capture a advanced collection as well.

Tomba is probably the highlight of the show for me because it was very unexpected and a great game. It’s a shame tho we aren’t getting both games packed together.
