Honestly I’d like to try some of these games for sure but with this and any kind of VR I’m afraid to touch it because I’m afraid it will hurt my eyes. I don’t even like 3d rides or movies for that reason when it was a thing.

Courtesy of our good friends at Limited Run there is now going to be a REN and Stimpy collection released this Friday with the SNES and gb games. Unfortunately it is missing Stimpys invention which did have coop, Time Warp does as well that’s on here tho. Maybe they will add it in like they did add the genesis Jurassic park game in that collection. I really hope they add Stimpys Invention and quest for the Shaven Yak from the game gear.

This is a favorite for my daughter and me. Great to see all the new additions and we’ll be sure to try this out.

I beat Fire Emblem Engage earlier in the week and had a great time with it but boy did I lose a lot of units. This is actually the first game in the series that I’ve ever played thru. I’d like to try out path of radiance again. I played it back in the day for the GameCube and really liked it. Now I’m on Star Wars outlaws. It’s very good. The last Jedi games are probably my favorite Star Wars games I ever played but this is very close, we’ll see if my opinion changes.

Guilty as charged for ordering this already. The games are all pretty bad but I had this Rocco game on my snes years ago as I loved the cartoon. Playing it with the rewind feature and actually being able to see the credits roll may fulfill something for me, or possibly not. I did like the stage 1 music tho.

It looks incredible! I liked the last one well enough but this one looks much better, Yoshi may have something to do with that for me. I really think the Zelda movie should have went the animated route.

This is a pretty nice upgrade. I can’t wait to play this with the family and good timing for the new movie coming out.

Maybe just maybe this will be Bubsys redemption. Someone out there in the universe must have a soft spot for this cat. The footage I’ve seen of this does look promising tho. I’m sure this single game release from Atari will all be on cart but I’m still sour with them over the Mortal Kombat Kollection release. MK4 was not included physically when it should have been.

I’m still waiting patiently for my standard, it’s been the longest delay I’ve ever experienced tho but it seems they’ve learned their lesson. The one other long wait time I’ve had is on the crowd funded Ultra Pro Wrestling, but I knew going into that being a kickstarter game it may never see the light. That was the first and last time I ever do that. I just really want a classic AKI wrestling game again.

Very disappointed to hear this but unfortunately what else is new from Ubisoft. This company used to be one of the heavy hitters for me. They have so many good IPs but they just have been poorly managed, a real shame. I hope they live on somehow tho.

Well now maybe I will get the follow up to paper Mario the thousand year door I’ve been longing for.

This looks very very interesting. I wish the best for the team behind this, it’s the first I’ve seen of this but it has my attention now. I appreciate all of the craziness this has going on but just hope it plays well, that can be a challenge when you have so many mechanics going on.

If this was the only way to play it then maybe I’d consider it but it just takes up far too much space on my switch. I do want to play these maybe when they’re all released and elsewhere if we get no physical copy ever for switch.

I’d like them to give a proper face lift to the first two games. Those are pretty rough now but it’d be quite the achievement to make those actually fun to play now.

@Ganner I agree with you on Quake 2 being the better. For me I just like the setting a bit more. 2 is less drab and the enemies and levels are more interesting to explore. A gothic shooter just doesn’t work for me, maybe if it was a third person Van Helsing and I was swinging a sword and shooting my bolt gun that setting could work better.

I am currently hooked on Star Wars outlaws on gamepass right now. It’s so fun to play and it’s a shame Ubisoft seems to be cutting many of their staff. I have liked many of their games over the years, prince of Persia the lost crown was excellent along with the Mario + rabbids games I’ve played lately. Outlaws makes me feel like I’m playing a new addition of beyond good and evil, I hope this is a preview of what’s to come for that one.

Beyond that I plan on pushing thru fire emblem engage, I’m on chapter 20 and I’ve really liked this game so far. The battles are truly a lot of fun. Fzero 99 I’m still picking up and playing here and there, and Wario World on the switch has also got my attention. I played this one just a bit back in the day and it didn’t hook me but now I’m so glad I’ve come back to it, it’s a great little playformer. I’d love to have a way to play wario land shake it again.

Well it’s about time. I’d eat up a physical of this.

I’m looking forwarding to hearing more on this. This was a very good game and my wife and daughter would play this one with me. I’m looking forward to more multiplayer fun here, one gripe I had with it on the base version was in some of the levels you were forced to move quickly along and if someone didn’t keep up they would just drag along, and that wasn’t very fun for new players.

@MathByThePixel if you haven’t played them and have a way to, I’d suggest the mass effect games. You can do those things in it and it’s excellent. I wish we could get the first 3 on the switch. Mass effect is the first game that I ever was swayed to buy the dlc for and is still some of the finest extra content I’ve ever seen delivered to a game after launch.

I’ve had a pretty eventful day today as far as games go. I placed first for the very first time in a race on Fzero 99 with my least favorite car the fire stingray. I was in the mute city iv track when it happened, that’ll probably stay in my memory. I also beat terminator 2d no fate today which has been a great playthru. I just opened my physical copy yesterday and started it up. I’ll play thru it to see some of the side paths you can get and try out the harder difficulties. It wasn’t too bad in no problemo. I just wish there was more content in here. To play thru the first terminator story and maybe even a bonus T2 arcade spinoff with multiplayer would be so awesome. I really hope this team does an aliens game with a bonus predator to play as and a robocop game would be awesome. I’m just dreaming now.

This is a nice suprise. I never finished this one and am a bit of a noob when it comes to fire emblem. Ike’s cool tho. He kindve reminds me of a Belmont and is one of my favorites in smash so I’ll hopefully gibe this one a spin, I’m just drowning in games to play over here.

I prefer the pro controller for gaming but I will say I like the color combo. Has a real Easter vibe…now I want a peep.

I still haven’t picked this one up yet but I may at some point, I did like Arceus a lot but I’m not loving how closed off everything is in this one. I was waiting to see if they’d release a physical version of this plus the dlc, but it doesn’t seem like that adds much to the game either.

I’ve only played a couple of these games, and I did enjoy playing the multiplayer back in the day with friends but that doesn’t happen much these days. The Black ops games reminded me of gi joe, with all the characters with different abilities and code names. Speaking of soap there was also a guy named Ajax.

That kind of preparation is bad for your health surely. I am not worthy.

I would much rather limited run be handling this, yeah you may be waiting 6 months to get your game, but you would have ample time to order it if you really wanted it. Also many of the more popular titles do eventually make their way to vgp or Amazon at some point. I’ve ordered from super rare before, and their games generally stay limited. I’ll get this if we ever get a release elsewhere.

I’m still working on Fire Emblem Engage, which has been a good time everyone I lose a unit it’s a tough blow but it’s kindve exciting finding my next fighter to step up and fill that role. This game is much easier than other games I’ve played in the series due to the time crystal but I try not to abuse it, and sometimes if I set myself up, I prefer just to take it and work thru it.

Beyond that some family feud and Mario kart with my family on switch has happened and Overwatch in the Xbox still gets my time for a couple rounds.

Very cool. I didn’t know they were doing this or I would’ve gave it a crack. I’m not a great artist but it’d be such an honor to have a hand in the design of a Megaman game. It’s interesting they kept this a suction hand centric contest for a robot design. They clearly were set on this type of character to be in the game, maybe even as a robot master which would even be more fulfilling.

Mario Tennis Fever is it for me. I refuse to buy a game key but still may play some of these on other platforms. I had thought about animal crossing but it’s not adding enough extra for me to get the switch 2 edition. I dintvreally do multiplayer on that game anyway. I really hope we see a new game in the Aries at some point, I liked new horizons but it wasn’t as enjoyable as the others.

Today I beat Metroid Prime 4 and I enjoyed the final battle pretty well. One annoying but I had with the game was one area in the fire realm i couldn’t find a way to return to it after the boss battle there. I couldn’t get the good ending because I missed an item there so I was a bit bummed about that but I had a good time with the game, I do wish some things had been done a bit differently but it was worth the time and I’m glad we got another game in the series.

Now I’m starting a play thru of fire emblem engage. I’m having fun in the battles but I could do without the story.

I do love prince of Persia games but I’m a bit fatigued on this genre. I tried it on gamepass and had a decent time with it. Maybe I’ll pick it up someday but I can wait on this one. I already have Dunjungle preordered to play and have yet to try Hades 2 or Absolum, so those will keep me busy. The Lost Crown was a masterpiece. I beat it recently and I really hope Ubisoft continue off of that game with something.

Yes I have a major problem with it. I feel like we are slowly being conditioned into being like cattle who can’t even think for ourselves. If this continues I think youll see more and more people lose their jobs/identity/ and everything that makes each person unique. All could be lost for the sake of making it easier and more efficient to churn out whatever muck is on the menu that week.

It’s pretty cliche but Donkey Kong and Metroid are my two favorites of the bunch here. DK I’d say was my game of the year but I’ve enjoyed a good number of titles. Prime 4 is really good as I’m a good bit into it now but I had very high standards for this one. I don’t like it as much as 1 or 3 for sure but I like it better than echoes so far. Mario Kart world was very similar to Metroid for me, good but it pales even more for me from the last two games. Marvel cosmic invasion was great fun and I’d like to return to it one day but I blasted right thru it quickly, unlocking almost everything. Fantasy life I was also a very decent suprise for me since I’ve never played the previous one, I really should return to it.

I’ve played Fzero 99 quite a bit, I haven’t played it in sometime but it’s been great to revisit. Prime 4 I’ve made some more progress on. I’ve got the third key now. It’s been decent but I can see why some are disappointed in it. It’s just a little too confined in some of the zones and then the traveling thru the desert section is pretty forgettable. I love the concept of Samus on a space hog but this could use a bit of work if they ever revisit that idea. I also finally cracked open Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma. This is my first game in the series but I’ve liked it pretty well so far, it does seem a little in the easy side even in the hard setting, and farming seems really streamlined. I love the setting tho, it reminds me of okami.

@Serpenterror I’d definitely buy that, they could also do an X-men legends collection of those two games. X-men Mutant Apocalypse is so good.

I’d say marvel ultimate alliance is my favorite of the bunch here, tho I’m suprised not more have chimed in on cosmic invasion as their favorite. It’s very good also but has a shorter play time. I really would like to see another ultimate alliance one day. I’d like to see them make one without some of the frustrating parts like the jumping thru laser beams sections.

Pumped to play this when my copy arrives. I hope we get more from these developers. Aliens, Robocop, Rambo, Lethal Weapon…and Roadhouse with throat pulling fatalities!

This looks like a mix of the rocksteady arkham games with hopefully a big open world Gotham city to explore like the first marvel game and all the films rolled into it. I’m definitely always excited for more Batman. I’d like to see Lego go for some other licenses tho just for something new. Lego Ghostbusters, Goonies, Looney Toons, TMNT, a solo Spider-Man outing would all be cool.

For me the wait for Terminator 2d has been way more painful than silk song.

Well that’s about right for Japan and Metroid, it’s never been a major player over there. It’s doing decent in the west from what I gather. I started it this week but I’m still very early on, I just got certified to ride the bike. I’m having a good time with it so far. I will say for a prime game I would’ve hoped we were at a grander scale by this gen, definitely not a bloated and empty open world, but this one does feel a bit confined in places besides that vast lonely desert. That really could be my biggest gripe, but so far I’m happy with it and I just hope we get more from this series but also the 2d games should have their place to.

As for now I rank them Prime 1,3,4,2.

@Suketoudara is love that but they also need to bring the mystical ninja from snes on over. I really love that game.

I wonder if we will ever see the turbografx and cd system on here considering we got that on the Wii VC. Having all those great shooters, a couple of good pinball games, an addictive RTS, and my favorite Adventure Island and classic Castlevania would make it a worth addition.

Well my copy is set to arrive today so I haven’t tried this out just yet but I’ve loved the prime games of old for the most part, echoes was good but I didn’t love it. I will say the hand holding and linearity could be an issue with me but I’ll just have to see for myself. I did really like fusion after all, it was linear but being a 2d gba game it was snappy and just a joy to explore through the different environments.

Snow capped Goombas nice but I much prefer the Metroid II, Zero Mission, and 4 ones they had on there this week.

Adding Myles Mackenzie would’ve been the perfect opportunity to add a friendly fire/permadeath/morality system to the game.

I beat the campaign of Hyrule Warriors AOC a few days ago so I’ve mopped up most of the side quests but now I’m at a place where I can only farm for materials to get any further. I put it down and went ahead and started the latest release Imprisoning War. I love what I’ve played of it so far, the mechanics have gotten deeper and it runs much smoother. The one thing I feel I’m going to miss is the amount of side content that opens up on the map as you move along. I’m still early into it but so far it seems skimpier in that department. My daughter will join me on a battle or two I’m sure and maybe I’ll sprinkle in some Overwatch.

@molkom same. I have such fond memories of timesplitters. I was completely gutted when plans for a reboot fell thru. I’m happy to see there’s still some signs of life in this series tho. Hopefully it will get some traction and we could see this or something akin to this come to consoles someday.

Looks pretty doggone good. I still have Astrodogs to try, dunno how good it is for something in the same line.

@Medic_alert your comment is kindve how I’m leaning on this one. I’ll try it out some more but I’ve played thru the story mode once so far and I’m liking this games presentation but the core gameplay I’m lukewarm to it. It’s a bit chaotic at times and I feel like I’m out of control at times similar to how I’ve felt in some of the Sonic games at top speed. I never tried Air riders back in the GC but I think I like Kirby’s adventuring games much better.
