Tbh, I saw this coming. The trailers made the game look pretty fun. Only surprise is how universally positive the previews seem.

Maybe people find Blow to be an "utterly terrible" guy and don't want to give him (more) money.

Given it's on the short side, I'll wait for a sale but what a score. I honestly didn't expect that.

Seems like third-parties are doing a generally good job with NS2, so far. That's great.

My opinion means nothing because I haven't played Silksong yet. I just wanted to comment that HK is a pretty fun game, even if slightly overrated.

These were the review scores I expected. Nintendo seems keen on making Mario sports more multi-player focused because it encourages families to play. I see no problem with that as someone who has 4 kids that would love playing this game.

I'll buy this since I haven't bought a Mario Tennis since the 3DS outing, which I enjoyed in spite of it reviewing worse than this game.

Buying this one, but probably not right away as my backlog is still absurd.

It looks amazing on Switch 2.

I played a few minutes of it but will eventually try to beat it again as I evidently didn't get the "good" ending.

People loved the first game and I'd sort of rather try it out before the sequel for that reason.

I haven't played the first two games, but I somehow doubt that matters.

No Elden Ring was a bummer, but this made up for that.

@Pillowpants they rationalize that by saying that the games coming don't interest them or they aren't exclusive. I don't bother talking to them because they often present their argument like you said "there are no games for it!" Those same people have said that about previous Nintendo consoles, as well.

February is pretty stacked for both systems. That's awesome.

I doubt this will deter them too much in making another entry. Let's just hope this time the gap is smaller between releases.
On another note, there was no way this game was going to be revered. It just wasn't going to happen with the expectations fans had. In any case, I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Since it's F2P, I'll play the NS2 version once it launches.

I agree with the other people who say it's fine by me. I've gotten enjoyment out of the updates, but I have also been more inclined to hold off on some of my backlog in hopes of updates. Not that there is a shortage of games to play even doing that...

Love to see it. There should be a nice mix of old and new games in this showcase. Some of which I'm sure will outrage the internet (for one reason or another).

@Duncanballs yes, I should specify it's more about essentials than anything. Video games are just a nice thing to have so price increases there bother me a lot less.

Man, if only may paycheck went up to match all these price increases. And no, I don't mean just the potential increase on NS2. Everything has gone up far faster than wages and I'm sick of pretending that isn't happening.

Well, this is a weird feeling. A third-party game coming day and date on a Nintendo console where I actually want the Nintendo version. This hasn't happened since the GCN!

Well deserved, it's an innovative system that really changed the game.

With Pokémon gen 10 rumored to be NS2 exclusive later this year, I figure next fiscal year will look great for the system as well. I don't think the internet is prepared for Nintendo to follow a success with a success...

7 mil sold last quarter (an increase, in case anyone was wondering). That's pretty good. But the internet said Switch 2 is failing miserably!

MKW has already outsold base MK8, that's wild. Also, I apparently contributed to the Legends ZA Switch 1 count, because I bought it there and upgraded it to Switch 2.

Forgot to mention Kirby Air Riders. That game is actually selling well, all things considered.

This game looks very fun and hilarious and it's perfectly okay that there are LGBTQ+ options available for those who want them. I don't partake, but if that's for you, great.

What would be great for me is if there was mouse mode and better resolution for handheld on NS2 but it seems like those are a no go.

GKC are here to stay, even if larger cartridges become an option.

The Last Story really was a great game. Time flies because it doesn't feel like it was that long ago this game came out (for NA, tbf, it came out later but still it was a long time ago).

Of the Star Fox clones, Wild Blue sounds more interesting than this. Maybe we'll get that on Switch 2.

Saw this on the Nintendo Today App. Maybe Nintendo is clearing the way for a massive "General" Direct in the near future. Also, I hope it looks a little bit nicer on NS2 because I plan on playing it there and why not...
