Switch 2 is continuing the trend of having multiple wallet busting weeks in a row.

I can't help but think of Alice in Chains when they talk about the DLC's name.

@AlonditeFE agreed, this is a good compromise since they likely won't be able to upgrade every game like they have with Pokémon SV, SMO et al.

MH Stories 3 did well on NS2. That's good news.

Based on the amount of DLC out there now, I figured they were done.

It'll be interesting to see how many copies this sells over the course of the month.

My wife's reaction to the initial trailer basically convinced me that it would end up being a hit (my wife has an eye for something good, if I do say so myself ). Previews essentially confirmed she was right to be excited, so reviews didn't really shock me.

It really isn't, it's just that most people who speak it don't have a particularly good vocabulary or reading ability. Mostly in the US, is who I'm talking about, btw (and that is by design from our politicians). So...I'm not sure I agree.

Tbh, I can't blame him. Employers treat people as disposable when given the chance and unions are one of the ways to prevent that.

Idc how I get announcements. Switch 2 has been getting a lot of software in the last few weeks and there is something from this month to May that we know about. A Direct will happen, but I suspect Nintendo is trying to make it one with about the same reception as the last Indie World had, which was generally great.

Also, about the game in question. This seems like it will be another decent entry in the Yoshi series. People need to realize it will be on the easy side because of who they're geared towards.

So about in line with the other games. Can't wait!

*Physical release. Non-Nintendo focused gaming sites don't differentiate between the PS and Xbox equivalent of GKC and "proper" physical releases, so why do you insist on forcing this narrative with Switch 2?

@HatesCheese no, it's not. But for Nintendo to do it when everyone expects them to (Mar10) it is. Too normal for everyone else is weird for Nintendo, in many instances.

Anyway, don't get your hopes up. While this game will get DLC, the timing just seems so...un-Nintendo.

I think Capcom didn't produce a lot of physical copies of RE9 for Switch 2 and it was sold out at the major retailers in Japan, so that partly explains the split. In any case, good showing for the game overall.

Nintendo and Capcom are spoiling us with back to back to back to back releases on Switch 2. I wanted to type it that way because it's true and a little ridiculous. Lol

They really should have told people sooner that the Switch 2 version would come later than the others. What a crappy thing to do.

I think I can still wait on getting 8 and 9 for a discount, separately. Capcom is good about putting its games on discounts. Waiting paid off for MH Rise+ Sunbreak because I paid $15 for that.

The Midnight Walk, Deadzone: Rogue, Mixtape, Moonlighter 2, Rotwood and Denshattack are all games I want.

Ratatan looked really fun, too.

Everyone says it's great, so that helps matters.

Not getting my hopes up for a Switch 2 version because NL will write the inevitable follow-up article it (desperately) wants to stating it's "not coming to Switch 2."

9/10, for me. It had a ton of great NS2 and NS1 games.

Drink box Studios has some phenomenal games, so color me interested even if isometric games rarely hold me.

And the Indie World was much better than I was expecting, today. There were a lot of games I thought looked exceptional.

I doubt this scores much higher on Switch 2 than it did on Pushsquare. If anything, I'd assume a 6/10 is likely since performance apparently was an issue on PS5.

@brandonbwii no, Chris Dring said something like that about 2 weeks after the Switch 2's launch with regards to third-party sales.

Indie Worlds are usually around the time of a Direct. Maybe March is the new February?

Either way, these always have at least one game I'm interested in.

It's crazy that this review is one of the more critical ones out there so far. Since my wife actually wants it, we're both getting a copy on day one.

Not sold on this one, but I had a great time with the original on Xbox 360.

Obviously PS5 Pro looks better, but Switch 2 looks amazing.

I didn't miss it. The trailer and multiple social media posts yesterday confirmed it's switch 2-exclusive. NL somehow "missed" it yesterday.

I'm officially ready. Good thing for Nintendo this is a Switch 2 only game, otherwise people wouldn't have as many reasons to upgrade to NS2.

I find current discourse on 3DS fascinating as someone who remembers the first few months of the console well and knew it would eventually have a lineup the rest of the internet appreciates. People insisted it was not (and never would become) worth buying. It felt very familiar to a certain Nintendo console on the market these days.

To paraphrase Bart Simpson, I'd be stupid NOT to buy this!

I'm happy this lives up to the series pedigree. Generally speaking, RE has great games.

@JohnnyMind I liked that part as well, I didn't even consider Zelda as an inspiration for that enemy in RER (mostly because I've never played Zelda II).

Early reporting suggests this has gone down better than Skyrim initially launched. Though that's apparently a very low bar.
