That grey cartridge in that gold N64 threw me off. I’m pretty sure the Rayman 2 cartridge is green instead of grey.

Is this the game people thought was a spin-off of Mega Man for some reason?

This was not one of the initially announced GameCube games for Switch Online, and the first one to be added outside of that original ten game lineup. Very interesting.

King K. Rool is one of my all-time favorite characters. I would gladly main him in Mario Kart World, fingers crossed.

@SuperEndriu I played through all of the Yakuza games and can highly vouch for them. I personally recommend just playing Yakuza 0 and treating it as a standalone experience, then you can go from there if you want to play more.

I feel like content for this game has been released way too fast without any breathing room. If this game is truly being supported for a year with content updates, I really hope it doesn’t lead to burnout early on.

I feel like we barely know who Masahiro Sakurai actually is. We see him in his YouTube videos, Nintendo Direct presentations, and even on-stage at events like the E3 2018 Smash Ultimate invitational. But he never directly interacts with fans, he turns down interviews, and he rather teach through pre-made videos over attending Japanese colleges and having seminars in-person. The thing is, he clearly does not like being vulnerable and being unscripted. We have no idea what he’s like in his free time or at work outside of what he says in his Famitsu columns. So I personally feel very disconnected from him despite everything he’s done with Smash over the years. He never owed us anything, and if he wants an unassuming life, he’s never going to get one at this point. Everyone knows who he is on the surface and he has to live every day knowing he created this public persona that lives in people’s heads rent free.

There is no mention of the Kirby Air Riders amiibo in this review. Were they not able to be tested in time with the review copy?

Also, happy 9th birthday to the last episode of the XY series, my personal favorite series.

Mad respect for this decision.

I got this in the mail yesterday and completed it in just one night, the GameBoy is one of my favorite LEGO sets ever.

I played all of the Yakuza/Like a Dragon games that have been localized. Very excited to play Yakuza Kiwami 3!

@progx I got it after the Switch 2 Direct announced support for micro SD express cards on April 2nd, it got delivered on April 9th.

There should have been an option for a 1TB Express Card, as well as 512GB. I bought the 1TB Lexar card.

Negativity is not a weapon. There’s a reason positivity and negativity co-exist. Toxic positivity and pretending everything is okay is just as dangerous as blindly hating on everything. Flaws are not weaknesses, it’s strong to acknowledge and learn from them.

It’s incredibly easy to add a name to a credits. Grant Kirkhope and other composers deserved to be honored and shown for their work, no excuse makes any sense.

The Pro Controller is a popular choice, you love to see it. I never used the Joycons for the Switch 1 unless it was required, as the Pro Controller is much better, and I’ll do the same thing for the Switch 2. I also got a carrying case and 1 TB Express card.

I got denied a ticket for the Los Angeles one, oh well.

I actually filled up a 1 TB micro SD card on my Switch and recently bought a 1.5 TB micro SD card. I’m hoping we get express micro SD cards in bigger sizes, especially 2 TB.

Hopefully we get a new Donkey Kong game with King K. Rool on Switch 2. But for now, I’m excited to revisit this game.
