@KJW90 Agreed completely. It's irritating how there's still Pokemon Go articles being posted here on Nintendo Life every day, with no option to filter them out either. I tried Pokemon Go when it came out and didn't understand why everyone was playing it, since I felt that it lacked the heart of the main series games. Sun & Moon are way more interesting to me.
I liked the exchange between Blue and Agatha, as Agatha in the games also thinks that Pokemon are for fighting. Other than that, I like it a lot. The battles were really rushed, but the animation was great and I like how it showed how Blue became the champion, so I feel like the pros outweighed the cons.
@ThomasBW84 @buildz In NA, the Apollo Justice Asinine Attorney DLC is available right now. Next week will also have the Turnabout Across Time DLC, which is a full case.
@Kalmaro The departures haven't happened yet, but the league and Team Flare arc were the climaxes for the XY series, and I was disappointed in the league and didn't care for the Team Flare arc. By the world ending, that was the focus of the Team Flare arc, but it was saved as expected.
As someone who dared himself to watch every episode of XY and was successful, this is such a disappointment. Ash loses the league because his opponent had infinite health, then the world "ends", then he goes to school. What kind of sequence of events is that? Plus, Ash in XY was very confident and experienced, so it looks like that is all going to be taken away with the Sun & Moon arc. Oh well, I knew from the start that Ash would leave behind everything in the next series like he always does, but the climax of XY was pretty bad in my opinion, and the Sun & Moon series isn't even trying to fix it. In the end though, the show is a never ending marketing tool for the games, that's why Ash still has Pikachu, the region changes according to the games, and there are movies every year. So whatever.
@Viendra I was there in the arena too, that was an amazing night! S2H vs. Westballz was also a huge upset. I also decided to stick around and watch Nash Fighter V afterwards. It was really cool how ESPN broadcasted it, and I loved Long Island Joe's speech after he lost.
I'm loving it here at EVO. I got three custom amiibo, a lot of posters and shirts, played a lot of indie games, and am going to money match HungryBox later today. Life is good.
I have a Japanese 64DD. F-Zero X Expansion Kit is amazing, and Doshin the Giant and Sim City 64 are pretty interesting. I might get the Mario Artist games soon.
Really interesting, it seems like it's a cheaper GBA SP that's identical in every way, except for the backwards compatibility. Thanks for sharing this review NintendoLife, I always like seeing the interesting bootleg consoles you guys manage to dig up.
@FamousGamous From what I've seen of your Reddit AMA the other day, you seem like you're really optimistic about your new-found love for game development, and you really care about people truly enjoying your games above everything else. I respect you for that, as it shows that you're a gamer at heart and are willing to learn and improve yourself as an indie developer. I still haven't bought B3, but I want to now so I can check out your work and see what a first game is like for an indie. I've actually been looking into Unity myself, and you have inspired me to try it out and see if I can create a game too, since I've been doing some research on the video game industry for a few years. Best of luck to you Famous Gamous, I can't wait to check out B3!
I somehow missed this when it started and really wanted to go to E3 this year. Anyone know if there's a way I can still get tickets, or if they'll restock?
It actually makes me happy to hear that he died because of age, since a lot of celebraties die much younger from things like cancer or accidents. It shows that he was able to live his successful and long life to its fullest without many personal issues. With that said, he will be missed, and DuckTales is one of my favorite Disney cartoons of all time. Scrouge McDuck won't be the same without Alan Young's talent.
"Yes, we're aware that Nintendo's emails aren't technically spam by the definition of the term, but any excuse for Monty Python videos is happily taken."
@Nintendood I mean, I always play my Virtual Boy in short bursts, so I never get any headaches when I usually play it. But I played Galatic Pinball for 45 minutes once and Wario Land for roughly 30 minutes a few times and did feel a bit dizzy after those sessions, but nothing serious. I do adjust and focus beforehand, but mostly so the image looks as sharp as possible. It's awesome to hear that you met some people who really enjoyed the Virtual Boy though!
@Nintendood I agree. The Virtual Boy didn't give me as many headaches as I thought it would when I bought it, and it doesn't have a truly bad game except for Water World. The Virtual Boy is something that people should try before they formulate their opinions on it, because it really is a one-of-a-kind system.
I remember when he got deported, IIRC that tournanent he was going to go to was Big House 5, which I went to and thought it was amazing. I'll sign the petition too. I disagree that Melee should be considered a sport just so he can get in, but he plays this game for a living and should be allowed to travel.
The rest of the article mentions some more stuff like how two of the Falco actors worked in a stage play together and how Rick May had to reaudition for the role of Peppy in Star Fox Assault and didn't get the job. Great read!
I miss reading text based articles on here. There's still some of them, but I feel like half of the articles just show "Hey everyone, here's a video. Enjoy it!" I'm out a lot of days, so it's really hard to find a time until the night for me to watch the videos. The videos themselves aren't bad, but the front page articles might as well link to a video directly instead of another page with the video on it. Just thought I'd put it out there, I hope I'm not the only one who feels like this.
I beat it a while ago, it's a nice game to take advantage of the Mario Amiibo with. I also think the characters having different abilities is great. However, it would be nice if you could scan in a character once and not scan it again. They probably do that because Nintendo doesn't want people to unlock the characters for free by using their friend's Amiibo.
