Are you the type of person who never misnames Samus 'Metroid'? Do you always know where to put the accent in Pokémon? Do you have the skills to prove your Nintendo passions on camera? Then, gosh, do we have the opportunity for you!
We at Nintendo Life are on the lookout for someone to join our Video Production team. As outlined in the above video by Alex Olney Brad the Business, you'd be chatting about the latest and greatest games from Nintendo, diving into reviews and guides, and snapping up gameplay all through the wonderful world of YouTube.
Just in case Al-sorry, Brad's instructions weren't clear enough, you'll find all the details about the role and how you can apply on Workable. Those wishing to shoot their shot will need to submit a three to five-minute face-to-camera video application in which you tell us a bit about yourself, share your favourite Nintendo franchises (and an obscure pick), and let us know anything else about you and your work — including some recent examples!
If all of this sounds very much up your street, head over to the job listing for the full list of requirements and desired skills. Then, if you think you'd fit the bill, make sure to get your application in by 24th December 2025.
Good luck to all those applying!

Good luck to all who apply! Must mean the site and Switch and Switch 2 are still doing well!
@BaldB3lper78 don't you mean Switch and Switch 2 ? Sorry if I sound overly correct
Good luck to those applying and looking forward to seeing who ends up being hired!
Does this mean this is a remote job?
Oh, If love to do this! Unfortunately, my current job leaves me little time for such things, and given that I've recently begun my own YouTube channel, I'd rather focus on growing my audience there before trying (and, honestly, probably failing) on a larger platform.
Cool but nope, I have a face for radio.
5 1UPS for good luck.
I forwarded this to Jon Cartwright, he could fit into the team I guess.
Sounds good, hopefully NL finds a good person for the job! I'm a bit busy with school still and just recently started my own channel and I won't be an official "adult" for about another year and a half so I won't sign up for it, but best of luck! 🫡
@TrueBlueYoshi oops! 😬
@Handy_Man Zion was in America, Felix in Denmark/Spain so it definitely let's you work at home! 😂🤎
After Jon, Felix and Zion I've got complete faith in whoever gets the job! You got this everyone! 💪
I kind of feel like giving this a shot…
I’ve applied!! I hope you like my face innit
I would love a female perspective of a future Nintendo Life Video Producer, so fingers crossed there will be a lot of such applicants for this position.
I've once been told you need to be a master of your craft to make "bad on purpose". I love 'Brad the Business' editing skills, truly professional
Good luck everyone
I could share my favourite Nintendo franchises and obscure picks for hours, but unfortunately, I have no idea how to edit a video. Is Brad offering any courses to edit like him?
@Max_the_German Jon is a good candidate, but I think this guy Zion G. could fit the team pretty well.
If you all need music or sound design I’m your man, but I cannot stand editing on my own channel anymore lol. Hope you all find a good fit!
I mean for those willing by all means.
I don't have the skills, location relevance or the 'narrative/mentality' so I'd be unable to apply. Not that I'd want to anyway. The articles/videos are fair.
That was a beautiful example of how not to edit a video. It'd make me want to apply, if only I had any inclination toward public speaking and hadn't spent years commenting on and criticising things here through various levels of sleep deprivation.
Haha, if only I wasn't so busy with high school...
Honestly, I know how to produce videos and edit as I was basically self taught but don't have any sort of professional proof of the pudding... So to speak.
I was going to start uploading to my own channel but just didn't have the content prepared to push it though
@JimNorman So i was about to apply and then i realized the deadline was probably in Britain's timezone, and now I'm on a plane without wifi and might not make it in..... Plus I'm in the US..... I recorded a nice video and everything, feel pretty solid about it, I hope I land in time to get this in, and that I'm even eligible 😭
