Kind of a disappointing interview, but it’s not NintendoLife’s fault. The LEGO company seems very stingy and brief with its answers. They didn’t even mention things like if they considered using the ! Block instead, or if they considered representing a different Mario game instead.

It looks like Fighter Pass 2 was only going to have five characters at first, but Sakurai got the rights to use Sora just before Fighter Pass 1 ended. Looks like there’s some truth to this article after all.

We’re also nearing 9 years since Nintendo Power discontinued. It’s crazy how much the way we received information has changed.

Trials and Tribulations is worthy of being the best Ace Attorney game. The game's last case, Bridge to the Turnabout, alone makes the entire original trilogy worth playing. With that said, I love the Ace Attorney games so much. They're all fantastic.

I’m not getting the OLED, I only play in TV mode. I’m going to wait for a more substantial upgrade.

@sanderev As someone that owns an Xbox Series X, I can tell you that it’s actually very heavy. It’s definitely not something you can carry around often.

I assumed that the game was delayed worldwide, but a paragraph later in the article clarifies that the North American and Asian releases are unaffected by the delays. Which scenario is the correct one?

Great interview. It must be fascinating to grow up with so many different video game IPs, only to see something you created join their ranks. The only thing I wished Dan talked about was if his work on modding Nintendo games interfered with releasing DDLC on Switch, as he has worked on Project M and 20XX TE before.

Micro transactions were a terrible idea, I worry for future generations.

It’s a fantastic game, I own it on the Xbox Series X. However, the game looks amazing at 120 FPS, and it’s a bummer that the Switch version will be capped at 60 FPS.

I would understand if Sakurai prefers to keep his opinions to himself. He has to put up with so much on a daily basis, and he knows that he can never make everyone happy with his decisions. When I saw him at the E3 2018 Smash Ultimate invitational, he had no desire to interact with the audience. I think that he knows it’s not a bad idea to stay quiet and not vocalize his opinions, because it makes him less political. He wants to respect the wishes of the companies he’s working with for Ultimate over anything else, from what it seems like, so he forgoes his bias in exchange for staying quiet and respecting his game for what it is. Because of all that, I think he has no chance of visiting Harada’s bar.

Speaking of which, today I learned that Harada owns a bar.

I haven’t even started playing this game yet, I’ve been too busy going through Yakuza: Like a Dragon. It’s nice to know that extra content will be ready once I start playing though.

I like how the colorization is based on the GameBoy’s green-tinted screen.

@Clyde_Radcliffe Sonic’s Japanese actor, Jun'ichi Kanemaru, speaks Engrish sometimes with his portrayal of Sonic. English is seen as “cool” in Japan.

For me, it basically comes down to a hunger for information. I don’t actively look for leaks, but it can be pretty frustrating when Nintendo announces games like Super Mario 3D All-Stars, Ring Fit Adventure, and Game Builder Garage only weeks before release date. It would be nice to know what games are coming out at least several months in advance. I guess my point is that, while I don’t like to look at leaks and rumors for news, they give us more to talk about than what’s actually announced, as it’s usually sparse in recent years.

I knew it, this game was shovelware after all. It only scored a 4/10, and no one talks about it at all today. So much for people claiming it would be a good game and hating on me for disagreeing with them.

This is the best news I’ve heard all year. The Simpsons Arcade is amazing, it’s been really difficult to access ever since it got removed from XBLA. I can’t wait for this!

I wonder if Janet Hsu has been holding out hope even longer for Ace Attorney Investigations 2.

Cheap stuff being sold for massive sums of money happens so often that I’ve become numb to feeling any sort of emotion from it.

I think this is worth a shot. An awards show discussing the most anticipated games makes sense, but I can’t help but feel that AAA titles will take the spotlight regardless.

I’m pretty sure that’s just Boo, not King Boo. Otherwise, this is a great roster. I’m excited to see Chargin’ Chuck playable. Hopefully more characters get added over time like in Mario Tennis Aces, it looks like there’s plenty of empty spots in the character select screen for that.

It’s definitely time for Mario Kart 9, hopefully it’s announced at E3.

I was curious on why Sonic 3 & Knuckles hasn't gotten any ports since Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection on the PS3/360. I would love to see Sonic 3 & Knuckles be as accessible as Sonic 1 and 2 again.

I've been watching every episode of Journeys so far. It's been a bit mixed in quality, but there have been some really cool callbacks to earlier seasons, as well as some great battles. I've been enjoying it overall.

It’s really sad that we feel like it “has to be time” for systems to be added to the Switch. Little did we know how much the Wii Virtual Console would end up spoiling us.

I honestly haven’t played Super Mario Maker 2 as much as I thought I would. I feel like I already did everything in Super Mario Maker 1, which I put far more time into.

Visiting Super Potato in Japan has been on my bucket list for years. I’ll definitely check out their eBay page, hopefully I can stop by their store once this pandemic ends.

I played the fan translation of the first game, it was really refreshing to see a new take on the Ace Attorney cast. I’m very excited to check out the sequel, I’m happy that Capcom is putting a lot of effort into this localization.

I quit Mario Kart Tour after the first six weeks. The core gameplay was fun, but if I had to spend money on Rubies to get the most out of the game, I knew it wouldn’t be worth my time. I almost never play mobile games, and Mario Kart Tour reminded me why.
