@PBandSmelly This is the first time I’ve heard of the Undertale cafe. I looked it up, it’s not too far from me and runs until October 10th. Sounds fun, I’ll have to check it out!

I’m based in the US, and Amazon delayed my order by a week. Now it’s supposed to arrive on October 4th.

That would explain a lot, considering Blaziken was used in the Johto league in the anime. It was definitely a good hook back then to get me excited for Ruby and Sapphire.

The title of the article got me thinking that it was a full moveset mod, I’m disappointed that it’s just a costume. It’s rare to see NintendoLife make articles on Smash mods, the only other one I remember seeing relatively recently being the “Fire Emblem only” mod.

My favorite Shadow voice is Jason Griffith, he nails Shadow perfectly.

I feel like Nick All-Star Brawl is too little, too late. My interest in the game faded pretty quickly, and the recent DLC characters have not revitalized my interest in the game that much. If people still like it, more power to them, but the lack of content, voices, and crossplay killed my interest in the game pretty quickly.

I would add Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney to that list, it's skyrocketing as well.

Chloe’s Eevee already tried to use evolution stones in its debut episode, and they didn’t work. It’s obviously a Gigantamax Eevee.

I feel like this is a problem with the Super Smash Bros. games as well. Everyone thanks Sakurai for everything with it, but there’s hundreds of others who bring his vision to life.

I was so hyped up for the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 48 track DLC, I decided to dig through this website and find this original article for the Wii U version’s DLC. Very interesting looking back on this. $12 for 16 tracks is good enough, but $25 for 48 tracks is insane value.

The game is now 8 years old, and as of today, is getting 48 more tracks on the Switch version. Who would’ve predicted that?

Sony developed games being released on Nintendo consoles is really crazy. Maybe the prophecy of the SNES-CD was leading up to this day.

@delt75 Considering there’s no global pandemic in the Yakuza universe, I think the SEGA Arcades in those games will probably remain intact. Even if the SEGA arcades don’t exist in real life anymore, it’s still a nice homage to their history, and I feel like they deserve to have continuous preservation in the Yakuza/Judgment games.

Switch is a popular system, I don’t see why Activision wouldn’t continue to support it.

As an aside, they did update New Pokémon Snap with a couple more levels once. I wonder if that was just a one time thing, or if they plan on updating the game again.

@SmaggTheSmug In the last six months alone in Japan, the only episodes Team Rocket appeared in are episodes 70, 72, 74, 75, 81, 89, and 90. That's pretty poor. Also, while it's true Meowth got to Gigantamax in two episodes, it hasn't happened again since then. All I'm saying is that this is the least Team Rocket has ever appeared in the anime, and I hope it gets improved on in the future.

I've been watching every Journeys episode, up to the most recent 90th episode. Unfortunately, Snom has not appeared at all in Journeys so far. Interesting that Team Rocket is mentioned in this article as well, because they have barely appeared throughout Journeys. Hopefully Team Rocket gets more screentime soon.

Cuphead’s DLC has already been delayed multiple times before, I’ll believe its release date when it actually happens.

@Matl I main King K. Rool. While I agree that 8.0.0 gave some of the best buffs in the game, like increasing Crown Toss’s armor, the recent 13.0.0 patch gave King K. Rool a few more tricks as well. The biggest one is that up throw is finally a kill move on platforms, killing around 120% instead of 170%. Up tilt also now kills at ledge at 100%, which is disgusting, considering that it killed at ledge around 125% before 13.0.0. So yes, I agree that patch 8.0.0 is the epitome of balance patches for Smash Ultimate, but 13.0.0 did make some noticeable buffs as well.

Spider-Man on PS4 set the bar really high for what a Spider-Man game should be, fantastic game. Only Spider-Man game I’ve played on a Nintendo system is Spider-Man 2 on the GameCube.

I can’t believe that Mario Kart 7 is almost a decade old as well.

I’m more curious on what they think the GameCube is supposed to be. Do they think it’s some kind of kitchen appliance?

This reminds me of those trailers for Llio & Stitch, where Stitch would invade Disney movies like Aladdin and The Little Mermaid.

I have a lot of respect for that.
