Re: Street Fighter 6's Season 3 DLC Characters Have Been Officially Revealed

Fighting_Game_Loser

Honestly a really good selection imo. C. Viper has deserved a return for a long while now, Alex and Sagat are always cool to see, and I'm happy Ingrid is back because I know this will probably be her chance to shine. I have to wonder about the long gap between C. Viper and Alex, because HOOOOOOO boy that sounds like it might be another long wait, but of course it's been like that the past two years so maybe Capcom is just tempering our expectations this time lol

Japan and PAL's art is soooo good. Bengus's style in the series just makes everyone look so cool, especially here and the way the coloring is done just makes it look even more epic. I have no idea what Capcom was thinking for the US art. Like not only is it just character art, they chose Psylocke and Guile, the two most random choices for characters. I wonder what made them go with that compared to even using different more popular characters

Re: Review: Arcade Archives NebulasRay (Switch) - A CGI Deep-Cut After Decades Of Waiting

Fighting_Game_Loser

Very happy to see NebulasRay finally get ported and Hamster is always great, but I do wonder why this is so high priced. Was it Namco wanting more from this licensing agreement? Was it Hamster setting a new price for future ACA releases because of inflation? And is their future releases going to have the same? Hopefully not because $15 for Ridge Racer 1 is gonna be steep.

Re: Review: Capcom Fighting Collection 2 (Switch) - A Cracking Collection Of Top-Class Arcade Fighters

Fighting_Game_Loser

@-wc- I mean Capcom obviously sees the arcade versions of all of their pre-7th gen titles as the versions most people that really want these collections (the players of these old games) as they are the versions that are basically exactly the same or a bit better than arcade, additional content aside. I would rather let these games have modern versions with great online over them just being left in the past and hard for the average modern gamer to get their hands on.

Very excited to get this collection. This is arguably the most bang for your buck collection, even considering the MvC Collection. There's just such a huge variety of games here, and barely any overlapping feeling of like any games blend together. Hopefully this will be as active as the MvC Collection on Switch when I pick it up, because there's so much to chew on for these games online. Obviously sucks we don't have versions like Alpha 3 Max or Project Justice's Dreamcast version as those obviously have some extra content, but I'm used to it by this point and there's so many good games here I can't complain for first impressions.

Re: Talking Point: Will You Be Buying Any Game-Key Card Switch 2 Games?

Fighting_Game_Loser

Even if they are a little stupid, I might buy a few here and there like SF6 or maybe Hitman. Sometimes I do like at least having some sort of physical thing on me so I do for some reason want to sell it, or the fact I at least own something. Going all digital for me is really only for games about $30 or less, anything above I usually want to at least buy something that isn't just tied to my account

Re: Nintendo Switch 2 US Pre-Orders Start 24th April, System & Launch Game Pricing Unchanged

Fighting_Game_Loser

Glad the console and game price is still the same, but it does suck that the accessories are even more expensive now. Sure things like the dock and Nintendo branded Express SD Cards aren't needed or can be gotten cheaper, but the Joy Con 2 pair being so expensive kinda sucks for any multiplayer games that are going to require them or at least have a cool exclusive mode with them. Makes me glad at least we can use old Joy con on modern games easily. And at least these are the ones getting increased when they are the least needed, at least for launch

Re: Nintendo Understands Switch Owners May Not Be "Ready To Jump To Switch 2"

Fighting_Game_Loser

I'll be honest and say that I'm not hoping on day 1 (price and scalpers aside) because I got my Switch the day Mario Kart came out just because I knew I had to jump off Nintendo's previous gen instantly because there wasn't much left there. However I have always been bugged by battery life and seeing as the Switch 2 has about the same as the Switch 1 originally, I think I'll try and hold out to see if they revise it eventually to have a better battery.

Re: Nintendo Comments On Mario Kart World's Controversial Price

Fighting_Game_Loser

I know everyone is still up in arms about the price, I think it's a bit ridiculous too, but I figured that they were gonna show something in the Direct that is gonna make people do a completely 180 on the game price and buy it up in droves if the Switch 2 pricing itself isn't hit too hard in time for launch. Just saying I know the some of the people here and online as a whole are gonna have a double standard here lol.

Re: Nintendo Switch 2 First-Party File Sizes Are Surprisingly Small

Fighting_Game_Loser

Donkey Kong is surprisingly small considering how destructive the environment is. The Switch 2 versions are about in line those are mostly just DLC add-ons to the base game, and I full expect the Gamecube app to balloon as time goes on. Probably why they made it Switch 2 exclusive when after a few games the app takes up the entire base Switch file size. Mario Kart is the most surprising because that obviously is their biggest game ever, but it also makes me wonder where they had to really shell out for a 32GB cartridge and then it gets reflected back kinda similar to TotK
