Re: DNF Duel's Switch Release Won't Support Rollback Netcode

Fighting_Game_Loser

I'm so screwed over now. I pre-ordered the game definitely being excited to finally try out the full game and then this is slapped in my face. I'm not someone who needs rollback because I've never had awful connections in online games, but I know for a fact that this is gonna kill a lot of hopes for future people continuing to play the game. I just hope some people decide to stick around because I think the game is very cool looking

Re: SoulCalibur's Classic Games Are Rumoured To Be Getting Remastered

Fighting_Game_Loser

Man I so hope that we get an actual remastered collection of the SC games. I would at least want Soul Blade/Soul Edge, SC1, and SC2. I really hope they're remastered versions of the console versions because they had so much extra content that they deserve to be the version that should be played automatically. Love me some Weapon Master Mode in 2

Re: Mario Movie Improves On Characters Who Didn't Have "Much Of A Personality", Says Director

Fighting_Game_Loser

This kinda sounds like a "Our film is much better than video games because games are only toys while movies are true art" sort of interview. I know the Mario cast aren't the deepest characters, but they obviously have tons of personality that shine through. Not saying that the movie can't have good character improvement, but there was already stuff there that they should of acknowledged

Re: Report: LEGO Disney And Guardians Of The Galaxy Projects Among Multiple Cancellations At TT Games

Fighting_Game_Loser

This is really sad to see. Traveler's Tales is a really talented dev and while most Lego games aren't my thing, they truly always make a quality game whenever they come out. That Disney game is really sad to see get cancelled, considering it says it had the most amount of work on it compared to all other games here. I only hope the people at TT Games are doing ok and that the studio can turn around from this because the studio shutting down would be a crying shame

Re: Konami Teases "More" Bomberman On 6th Anniversary Of Super Bomberman R

Fighting_Game_Loser

Honestly I'm really glad Bomberman is doing so well in the modern age. It's probably Konami's best ongoing franchise rn and its not even originally theirs. I played the Super R a few years ago and had a fun time with it, but I didn't get a true appreciation for Bomberman until last year when I watch RifleXD's 8 hour video on the entire Bomberman franchise, which made me want to go back and play all of the Bomberman games I could. I hope Super R 2 is even better than the original in both single player and in multiplayer because I know that it has the ability to be one of Bomberman's best games if it is

Re: Poll: What Did You Think Of The February 2023 Pokémon Presents, Then?

Fighting_Game_Loser

I hate to say it, but I saw this coming a mile away. People were trying to get hyped up about a new Mystery Dungeon game or classic Pokemon games coming NSO but I knew for Pokemon Day they were gonna do the easiest option that got them the biggest amount of profit, mobile games. All of the previous showcases had tons of mobile games and I expected nothing less. People just need to learn to stop getting hyped over nothing

Re: Random: 'WATA Certified' Pokémon Yellow Apparently Mauled By US Customs

Fighting_Game_Loser

While I don't fully understand the point behind purchasing sealed video games, I still think ot sucks that this dude got his copy of Yellow ruined by the government. People gotta understand that while we might not like the practice over the past few years for sealed and graded retro games, the customer should still get their product in the condition that they ordered it. Also the fact that it was purchased by a friend of a Nightdive dev kinda makes me believe that they bought it simply because they actually wanted a sealed copy of a game and not because they just wanted it to play the retro game stock market

Re: Soapbox: If You Thought Last Year Was "Sad" For Switch, 2023 Might Be Hard To Handle

Fighting_Game_Loser

Honestly I think this year was quite great. Of course as a hardcore Kirby fan I'm biased, but that's kinda the whole point of this. Some games just appeal more to others than other games do, and some people are simply into more types of games than others (like me lol). I think that Switch is gonna continue to ride strong into 2023, but I have a feeling that 2024 will definitely be the time Nintendo moves onto the Switch's successor. Also it helps if you don't get to get around to EVERY game in a year. Will help make dryer years for people who are more picky more satisfied, trust me.

Re: DNF Duel Is Getting A Nintendo Switch Port In Spring 2023

Fighting_Game_Loser

@Snatcher Honestly, I'd say stick with all of them! I got into fighting games about a year or two ago, and I bought and ended up playing so many that it's hard to keep track lol. Don't be like me and have the compulsive need to play as many of them you wanna play in the shortest amount of time possible and not have the urge to try and play with all characters. Just find all of the games you're into and find your fav characters to play, and just have fun! No need to take everything seriously right away, the experimentation is what makes fighters so cool!
