Awesome that M2 is getting the chance to do more collections for Konami and for shmups no less. I see they have even a hitbox viewer which sounds rad, so if the price is decent I might have to pick it up because M2 and their ShotTriggers releases are always great
Oh this is awesome! I always wanted to play the original 2 for the longest times so this is really cool to see them get a definitive version like this. Hopefully the physical comes stateside
I do honestly hope that Hidden Variable wins if they were held back payments from Autumn Games, because anything like that is just really scummy. That aside I'm surprised their making more Skullgirls content, unless they're making new games for it because I thought the DLC pass was the last we'd get for it, but I'm down for it because the game itself is still fantastic. Just a shame all of the stuff this game has gotten thrown its way has damaged its image a bit as I can see from the people commenting.
It's kinda crazy Nintendo is taking so long to get their first party Game Boy titles on NSO, but I'm very glad these have come over. Definitely going to be playing DK '94
I preordered the Collector's Edition of Dariusburst CS on Switch and waited over 2 years for my copy. It feels kinda ridiculous that SLG has had these issues when they're only producing a few thousand of each game. Especially kinda funny when you buy a game that's in stock, it ships pretty fast in all fairness. I'm glad they're stepping in the right direction, but I can't bother trying to order from them until they get all of these issues sorted out, because I feel like this shouldn't of been this bad of an issue for this long anyways.
I might have to download this. I've gotten more interested in this game overtime so if I enjoy it here I might have to put it in my list to watch out for. Would be great if I could whip this out with some others together for a full 4 player match
Ok yeah nah man this game is gonna flop lmao. $60 is WAY too much for this game when games like DNF Duel that were really content lacking, but at least high budget with visuals and stuff was already kinda too high, and was $50. There better be lots of HxH fans out there that bite the bullet or this game better get good sale prices or actually have good single player content because idk if anyone beside hardcore fighting game fans would be willing to purchase it at full price there.
Awesome that Sumo is just being able to go all out for this one. Definitely seems like this is gonna be just the complete culmination of all of Sonic's racing history. Really think its interesting they say that other Sega characters are going to be included on the roster, so I wonder how many there will be, and which ones they'll choose. It probably won't be a lot if they aren't making this another All-Stars title, but its cool they are being included as well.
That's so weird that they would do this. Sure, maybe the licensed games had to be taken down, and I know that SF Zero doesn't have the best rep, but Sol Cresta is really weird since they published that game themselves basically besides Japan & was their newest release besides Babalon's Fall, and MadWorld being erased should be a crime because that game is sooooooooo good, and is just flat out their first ever title. No reason why they would want to delete that
I expected the port to be good, but I'm honestly surprised that the screenshots look as good as they do! DNF Duel was kinda blurry on Switch (especially handheld), so the way it looks here is super impressive. I don't think I'll buy this since I waited so long for a Switch version that I just caved and bought it on PS, but if I was able to convince people to play it with me locally regularly, this might be worth it for me
Really cool this is here. Although I probably won't use it because when I'm browsing the eShop, I just wanna window-shop on my Switch and potentially add to my wishlist there lol
Hamster has been doing great all these years with Arcade Archives and I can't wait to see what they have in store. I'm hoping this is the year we get 3D Arcade titles for the line finally, because there's so many amazing 3D arcade titles that need porting that Hamster could probably do
Really awesome to see ArcSys giving her for free on Switch. Makes it a really cool bonus for those that buy the Switch version even to just lab on the go. I wonder how they will handle the rest of season 4 though since they are probably will be launching day and date on Switch there, so I wonder if ArcSys will keep giving them for free on Switch, or if they will have the rest of Season 4 be paid
@Mgalens Agreed. If I had to choose only one to come over, its Robobot hands down. If I had to choose another game to come over, I would want the other Yo-Kai Watch games to come over (or they at least bring the version of 1 to the US), Ever Oasis since I think that deserves a second chance, and any of the Eshop games, but most likely the Pushmo games.
I hope stuff like this does eventually release because this would help to preserve these more obscure tracks and make them more easily accessible to the masses. Like they could totally release more remix/original cd releases put on the app
Awesome to see the original arcade Cotton here! I feel like its been a while since we had any cool new inclusions of developers to the ACA lineup and Success is a good one to get. Also awesome to see that they're releasing Sega-based arcade titles now! Hopefully in the future we can at least get more 3rd party games that used Sega's arcade hardware as well
Jokes aside this ain't bad at all, this just really affects the hard-core gooners (or at least the ones that care way too much about stuff like this), so it's not the end of the world, but I will say the article picture did make me think Goldlewis somehow had a suggestive angle on him lmao
I only expected this to happen. Dragon Quest 3 was the game that made the series into the instant best seller, so I guess it's totally living up to expectations. Curious to see how the US sales are doing on that front because I would have to assume that by this point it totally surpassed 1 million copies
God if only this mode had VR support. That would be so sickning, but so cool. Also crazy how for both recent Monkey Ball games Sega has gotten two of the most random crossover characters for DLC and then just doesn't add anymore beyond it lol
Nice that X got added. It would of been really cool if they added the CD Remix versions of the ost, since they're super good as well and would be great to have additional versions and releases of the tracks on the app
Awesome that both Pizza Tower and Antonblast are both getting Fangamer physicals! They are both titles very worth having physicals for and Fangamer makes all of their releases really neat with little goodies.
I can't believe we live in a world that a Tetris Collection is the 9th current best rated game of the year, but tbf I am someone that is all for that so I really hope the collection does well. Digital Eclipse is just on a roll lately.
Honestly it's probably just kinda low right now because all of the people who are actually willing to buy a game this instant have probably bought the game. This game will continue to sell once the movie comes out, the holiday shopping season has started, and most importantly, the game gets put on sale. That's usually how Sonic finds most of his sales so I expect it to pick back up when all of those eventually happen.
Really nice that more games are being included in the collection, but it feels very odd to have them be released so soon after the physical version with this being a collection of old games and stuff, and not like Atari 50 where that came out nearly a year or 2 after it launched and was more than just a few games, with them having the documentary content being added as well
Honestly seems like a really cool mode to put in competitively. Seems like there could lots of back and forth interactions because of the time-warp. I only wish they were maybe able to represent a few more eras of Tetris, like maybe have one of Tetris's extra silly modes represent a time period like with tower climber and the late 90's and possibly Tetris Plus, or work with Enhance to have a Tetris Effect warp where you need to clear at least 8 lines in zone mode or something. Like I think that would be so cool for actually getting more Tetris history represented, while working around obviously nit being able to have those specific games on there
Oh wow I had no idea that this was a one man project. Totally get how this took so long to release now lol. Might get it later if I can find a physical for a good price or if the digital version goes on sale for a really good price. Got a lot of stuff I still gotta play along side with me being super busy atm with college
Man if only this was actually 2 days later to be on my birthday. Would make me want to get this a lot more than Dragon Quest 3 Remake (just haven't really gotten into the series yet)
Glad to see that the team is safe from the hurricane. I wish them the best of luck along with all other people affected in getting their lives back from the destruction. Only wish them all of the success possible because I super enjoyed the demo they put on Switch quite a bit
I'm definitely going to be picking this up, especially as a fan of Tetris and Digital Eclipse, but I feel like this should of been taken further in terms of game line-up. Tetris has so many games across so many consoles, so just focusing on the Famicom, Gameboy, and SNES mainly I feel like is really unfortunate, especially when there are other games that definitely should of been included. Atari/Tengen Tetris should of definitely been here (at least the arcade version) since Atari owns Digital Eclipse now. I also feel games like Tetris Plus, The New Tetris, Tetris Worlds, Tetris Party, Tetris Ultimate, Tetris Axis, hell put Facetris in there. Sure games like Gameboy/NES Tetris & Tetris DS I get since those are so Nintendo that they couldn't get them, and games like Tetris Grand Master are already being released separately, but I feel like if this is truly a legacy Tetris Collection, it needs a little more stuff in it.
I honestly figured that this was getting delayed since they kept announcing nearly the whole roster it seems but we hadn't gotten any update on the release date. But its crazy they didn't have rollback right away. Considering how hardcore Eighting's fighters can skew, that audience would of immediately ran away over no rollback, so if this delay is just to put in rollback, it's probably for the best for this game to have its best chance
@Serpenterror I mean we don't know when this interview was done, and the update was probably rolled out super fast to PS4 and PC because that was actually get the matchmaking work better on those systems, when the Switch was matching the quickest out of all of them. I would have to assume they're going to put it on Switch soon enough, definitely at least before the physical version releases
@DasWunderkind What are you talking about no one has reported any major hindrances with the game that isn't simply a port oversight like Anacharis's doll infinite not working in training mode
@27celsius Well I know, but this is a completely different season of DLC. I'm wondering if this will be available at launch as a separate purchase so that Dizzy and maybe Venom are playable when it drops so it's close to parity with other systems
I wonder if Switch will have Season Pass 4 available at launch because I think games like Dragon Ball launched on Switch with all of the dlc being available at launch. I feel like it would only make sense so that the Switch can at least stay at content parity with the other systems
Lol this is probably just an attention grabbing thing for the future, like how when the Switch was coming up along side when this gen was about to start and one of the first announced titles was Gollum. I'm not gonna expect nothing much until Nintendo actually says something
I can't say which one is truly my fav since I don't have the collection yet, so I was here to check the results. I figured MvC2 was the most popular and I was easily right, but I'm surprised to see that Punisher is somehow higher than the entire rest of the collection. I'm very curious to hear everyone's choices and explain why they are either said person's fav game and/or most played in the collection, because the explanation makes the choice much more interesting.
