I'm actually excited to replay this on Switch 2 now. I dropped the game after the DLCs and had no plans on replaying it but this upgrade is giving me a reason to do so

Wow, it actually runs great now. I'm actually tempted to replay SV again. I've stopped playing the game after the DLCs and maybe did some few Terra raid battles. After that, I just didn't bother with the game again unlike with Legends Arceus

They need to do this with the other Switch Pokemon games as well. Legends Arceus would be perfect with that performance boost

I just want some new mega forms announcements, especially for the Kalos starters. I've given up hope on Ash-Greninja so at least give me Mega Greninja.

Just got my Switch 2 preordered! I'm so ready for Legends Z-A. Legends Arceus was so much fun and I spent 100 hrs in that game and for sure, I'll be doing the same here

I'm just gonna assume this is Nintendo's way of preventing instances like these where people are getting their hands on the console earlier than expected just to avoid leaks. Will just wait until the actual launch day to see if it really needs a day 1 update.

Don't care if the games run at 30fps, will still buy the Remake and Rebirth again on Switch 2 and I'll definitely get part 3 as well (assuming it also comes out on Switch 2)

This is 1-2 Switch all over again. Should've been a free game pre-installed. Even Astrobot Playroom was a free game on the PS5 and that was a decent platformer.

Considering that this is the Switch 2's first direct, this is a solid 10/10 with some great games announced. We won't be worried about the lack of games once the system launches. So many bangers day 1

Getting this day 1 for the Switch. I really wanted to play FF7R on the go and this will be the best way for me to do so.

Really love the Vita Hot Shots game. This one has some cute character designs. Will definitely get this game on the Switch

People should support these ports to let Sony know we want more of their IPs for the Switch and Switch 2

Overall, it was a good direct. There are some surpises defintely, such as Patapon and Everybody's golf, which are Sony IPs that are once again being ported to a Nintendo system

Really like the updates regarding Legends Z-A

Story of Seasons Grand Bazaar got me hyped even though I've never played the OG DS game.

Overall, a decent direct. Nothing too crazy but there are some banger announcements. Still a good direct for the last Switch focused direct

This is a good idea considering I have a lot of digital games in my library and as someone who owns 3 Switch units (don't ask), having to swap digital games between systems will be a lot easier without the constant need of internet connection

Really excited for Z-A more than ever. I was hoping to see some returning characters aside from AZ but I really like what was shown in this trailer so far.

I'm going to take the advise of not rushing this game (even though I really want to get a Skell right away). I'm enjoying my time so far. Still amazed on how a game this big can run so well on the Switch. Just imagine this game running on Switch 2

Weird to see two Gen 2 starters. I'm definitely going for Totodile and/or Tepig. No hate for Chikorita though but it's definitely going to be my least choice out of the 3.

Really wonder how the game would go with it just being around Lumiose City though this could be a mini sanbox game. Hopefully there are other unique areas

Surprised that there is no PS4/5 version considering this was a Vita exclusive for quite some time. Then again, this is a game meant to be played handheld so the Switch is the right system. I enjoyed the Gundam Battle series, particularly the PSP games

Most of the time I play on dock mode with the Switch so having an OLED or not doesn't affect me that much. If the Switch 2 does end up getting an upgrade with an OLED display in the future then I'd definitely consider getting one.

I have both the OG Switch and OLED Switch and the OLED display is definitely way better but at the end of the day, they're still 90% docked whenever I play

I'm only using my Switch online for the Cloud Storage feature and occasionally, play some classic games.

I still wish online play is free

The mouse functionality would be great for FFXIV

I wish they'd make it smaller like the DS and 3DS cases just to lessen the space inside. Switch cases looks very empty inside other than the cartridge and without any manuals.

Time to complete my BDSP dex. I already completed the Hisui dex (had every Pokemon in rank 10 even, which I thought back then was required for the Arceus quest)

Bought this on Switch and expected the 30fps only. Still weird to have it locked in 30fps even during battle. It's all fine and dandy but probably my gripe is the load times, especially during combat where it will take a couple of seconds before it starts compared to the PS3 version where it's immediate.

Other than that, I like this game. Has great combat mechanic, characters and story. This was the first tales game that I actually liked

More 3D platformers outside of Nintendo is always a welcome. Glad to see Reggie giving a compliment to a non-Nintendo platformer

I'd be interested in playing those 3rd person RE games with the Switch 2's joycon mouse gimmick.

Not a big Donkey Kong fan personally so I don't have any strong sentiment about his future design but you can't judge the character design based off just one frame. We need to see more official art from Nintendo

Didn't really do much damage imo but the trailer feels very safe. Not bad by any means but compare that to the 1st Switch reveal trailer, it feels like Nintendo wanted to get that reveal trailer out of the way to avoid further damages

I was expecting the direct would be February but I'm ok with this. I just want to see what the Switch 2 can offer in terms of software. The design is just as expected which I'm ok with. It's the launch titles that will make me want to get it day 1

Glad it's now official. Backwards compatibility feels like a must for the next-gen Nintendo hardware, especially with the huge library of Switch games and I'm sure Nintendo wouldn't want them to go to waste
