Sony is more than just the PS brand and this really isn't that surprising (though personally, I would rather want a CG movie than live-action). This isn't also the first time that Sony has become involved with Nintendo IP, i.e., Sony Music Records is usually involved with Pokémon soundtrack

Hope the Switch successor will be backwards compatible. It would be such a waste to have all these successful Switch titles to be left behind.

I really enjoyed the online feature of Pokémon X&Y and SM more than the Switch games and the fact that you still see many playing online today. Such a big disappointment that this will come to an end soon.

There's no way they will drop the Switch immediately, even if the next gen Nintendo system drops next year considering the amount of Switch user base. 3DS still got support from Nintendo despite the Switch's release back in 2017 and even Nintendo was aware of how many 3DS owners were out there. Not that many people will be ready to move on to the next system and Nintendo knows this. Instead, they'll let people slowly transition from Switch to their next gen console

Played it on the 3DS but never finished it. Still a great game to be ported on modern consoles. I might give it another shot

I'd rather see M$ go full 3rd party like Sega than see them acquire Nintendo or any Japanese game companies.

I don't understand the point of leaking these said "documents" other than stir some conversation among console fanboys and fangirls (which seems to be effective based on people's reactions, lol)

Not getting my expectations high but I'm sure there will always that one game (or two) that will be a surprise, which is what I love about Nintendo Directs

Been enjoying AC6 since the release day. It's been a while since we had an AC game and it's been long overdue but I'm glad Fromsoftware delivered. I really am glad that many people are discovering and enjoying AC6 which can lead to more AC games in the future.

Since this is a Nintendo side, I'd love to see some AC games ported on the Switch or on the next gen Nintendo hardware. Would love to play Armored Core 4 Answer while on the go.

lol then start by making Halo and other Xbox exclusives available in other platforms other than PC then. Pointing fingers to Sony is pointless. If you want for exclusivity to end then start with your own "exclusive" games. MS can talk the talk but they still can't walk the walk

Title is pretty clickbaity but the point is that at the end of the day, majority of Nintendo owners are mostly focused on 1st party games. Of course there's still those who'd want a CoD on Switch or whatever is Nintendo's next hardware, though Nintendo themselves need to work on their online service first before a new CoD comes to their own system.

Anyway, I'd rather that Sony and MS keep Nintendo off their talks about this whole acquisition BS if they consider them a non-competitor

I really want for the next hardware to include backwards compatibility. Switch is probably where I spent the most in terms of games out of all the Nintendo system I owned and I don't want them to be wasted.

Pretty solid Direct. There's something for everyone here. The highlights for me are the Mario games. I'm not the biggest Mario fan but I am interested in trying out the games announced here.

The SV DLC update wasn't expected and but it did sparked some interest again to try them out and get back to SV. Detective Pikachu returns was nice but the graphics look rough and outdated (and this is coming from someone who don't mind the graphics on the recent Pokémon entries). Will give it a try nonetheless.

Kinda disappointed with the lack anything NSO related. With the Pokémon games being in this Direct. For a moment, I had a slight hope for the Pokémon GBA or Gameboy titles being announced but that's still a pipe dream.

@Serpenterror still glad it's not the Twin Snakes version. Never really liked it despite the updated controls. Speaking of controls, I'd hope MGS3 will adapt or do something similar to the 3DS' control scheme. Having to crouch while moving in that game is such a gamechanger

I gave this a hard pass back in the PS1 era but I'm willing to try this again now with the HD2D graphics. It looks really good.

There's definitely going to be something Mario related there. Maybe a DLC for ToTK. Personally, I would love for Pokémon RSE and FRLG to be added GBA (though Pokémon RGBY for Gameboy would be fine as well). And I'm hoping to see that said Chrono Trigger 2DHD remake being rumored about.

Just finished it last week. Taking a break for now since Final Fantasy XVI will be out in a few days and I've been playing the demo in preparation

Yeah, I'd still rather wait for Atlus or Nintendo to make an official announcement. Just because there's a listing doesn't mean it's 100% confirmed.

I got to admit, her glow up was something I did not expect and damn, she looks great.

In the worst case scenario, this could be a cloud version but seeing that MK11 ran decent on Switch, I won't be surprised if the devs manage to get this game running well on an already aging system.

Ah, Muramasa, the game that made me buy my first Nintendo console and the reason I wanted a Vita back then. Really want it to be ported on modern consoles but I AM intrigued by Vanillaware's next game.

I find it hilarious that one of the titles is literally Persona 3 "Portable" yet it's not coming to one of the most well known portable gaming device, lol.

One can only hope that a Nintendo Direct will actually happen and they get some sort of announcement there

Take al the time you need Nintendo. Last thing we need is a broken and unfinished game. If it needs polishing then do so.

Enjoying Rune Factory 5 so far but the loading times and framerate issue are really bothersome. Kirby might wait for a while, I only have enough money for one major game this month

A very welcoming surprise in today's mini Direct. RF5, Bravely Default 2 and now this.

Can they use that money to improve their online service?

Clone or not, this game has been impressive so far. I've been playing for hours and for a free online game with Gacha system, I haven't encountered any paywall nor do I need to grind too much that could have prevented me from progressing the game. Doing quests can reward you enough and I'm not sure if I'm just lucky but I got some descent characters from their Gacha but even without it, you're still given some good characters in the first few hours.

Still can't believe that for a free game, this has been quite rewarding and fun to play around with. I honestly want a more standalone offline version of this and I'd be willing to pay for it. There are some elements that "borrowed" from BoTW but it still has its own unique features.
