Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (10th January)

Hello fellow Nintendo Lifers!

This weekend we'll be staying home due to the snow in the Netherlands, so I'll have plenty of time to play some games! I'm currently playing these games:

  • Resident Evil 4: Normal - Chapter 3-2
  • Tears of the Kingdom: 65% overall completion
  • Pokémon Legends Z-A: just made it to rank C and progressing nicely
  • Dragon Quest 7 demo: about 3 hours in. I think I'm almost done, sadly...
  • Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance: Chapter 4

Last week I finished Pikmin 1 and Metroid Dread. So my year started pretty well on the backlog clearing 💪

Happy gaming everyone!

Appreciate people taking the piss here, it is a good laugh. Just to clarify: I'm 44 and been around the internet a long time, but I honestly can say I never saw it until today.

At my work people abbreviate everything they can and it just annoys me to no end. Especially when it's really not needed.

@PJOReilly , hope you still enjoyed that morning coffee, despite my nagging.

@dartmonkey, thanks for explaining!

@JohnnyMind The original? I bought RE4 for Switch too during the sale. It's a great starting point. I am really enjoying my fourth playthrough, so far! I've played the game twice in Wii, once on PS4 and now on Switch. The controls are a bit clunky, but once you get used to it, the game is just so great! I can't wait for RE4R to release on Switch 2, which we will also hopefully see at some point!

Very excited for Final Fantasy VII after playing the demo. I'm not entirely sold on the fact that it's not turn-based anymore, but what I played was fun.

Caves of Qud is supposed to be right up my alley, as a Roguelike lover, but for some reason it just hasn't clicked for me, yet. Maybe I'll just have to watch a review or something.

I don't get the hate. I think he's just fine. I'd drink a pint with him and geek about tech. He basically covers for the other characters that guide Samus in various other games. I found some of the other characters more annoying. Especially in the Mines. God that writing was pretty awful, having some events happen three times in succession really made my eyes roll.
