Might just get those amiibo. Mostly because I want to support Capcom, because I think they've been cooking lately!

I was lucky enough to get an invite to buy the New 3DS Ambassador's Edition. It's one of my most valued handhelds in my collection, right after the GBA SP NES Edition.

There are some real gems in this collection. Wish everyone fun with (re)playing them! I won't be getting this myself, as I already own a couple of them.

Wow, so many unoriginal picks. Pikachu, Eevee, Gengar, Mewtwo... Done to death. Really hoped a fellow Dutchman would have a bit more inspiration than this. Aww well...

In all honesty, this game is Hades with multiplayer. Something I miss sorely in Hades... I think it's time to do some couch coop again soon with some buddies. Pizza time!

Even after reading the review I'm still so on the fence for this one. I know that if I'll get hooked, I'll be screwed, haha. I just don't think my backlog will allow me to get this game. And I completely agree with @canaryfarmer. I see the screens and all I think of is "This is what my life was like nearly forty years ago." I don't know if I can bear it, haha.

I'm not triple dipping on this one. It's such a phenomenal game. I must have spent 300+ hours roaming the Commonwealth. Keeping notes and even keeping a logbook just for fun! And jotting down my own maps with notes. Survival mode especially was where it was at for me. Enjoy!

GameChat or streaming games like these seems like fun in general, but I prefer playing in a dimly lit room alone.

Also thanks for reminding me of Scarmigliones! One of the most annoying enemies from Resident Evil Revelations.

I love to see the excitement for starting this website by its creator. It'll be tough to get traffic for a 10 year old game when there's already so many established names for Pokémon fan sites, though. One I frequent myself is serebii.net, but I also love pokemondb.net. And I don't think I miss much Pokémon news by frequenting NintendoLife, either!

Rayman and I never quite clicked, but I wish everyone a lot of fun with this game, if they're going to get it! The lack of the OST is very regretable. Even as a non-fan of Rayman, I really enjoyed the OSTs.

@Dazman I sincerely hope so, my good man. But I have been disappointed too much and my expectations are kept low as a result.

Really curious about the contents of the presentation. I am hoping for a new game announcement, but I won't hold my breath for anything substantial. Most likely it will focus on free-to-play/start stuff.

I am way more eager for a Nintendo Direct about upcoming 1st party games and the 40th anniversary of Zelda and what they're going to do with it.

They better confirm Home compatibility again. Otherwise I see no reason to get these releases.

@brakeman90 Please refrain from calling the Switch 2 "stripped down hardware". It's a brand new piece of hardware with a different architecture than a PS5 or PC and requires different programming. And if anything it's impressive that a tablet can even run games like this. But seeing as it's new hardware, programmers will need to learn how to program for it well.

This is one of the best OSTs on Game Boy. Such a great soundtrack. My favourite ones are:

@LastFootnote I sincerely hope I'm wrong, too. But the previews seemed to be focussed very much on multiplayer. Let's hope they just left the single player bits out, because Nintendo is so focussed on having us push that [C] Button on the Switch 2, so we all use GameChat...

I already pre-ordered the 3-pack with Resi 7-9 and the Pro Controller. I can't wait until end of the week to receive my precious Resi package! After some consideration, I think I will play 9 first, but I might change my mind and dive into 7 first. I am not sure if the games really need to be played in order...

Where is that "3rd week of February Nintendo Direct" I keep hearing rumours about? My hopes are getting really slim with how much was announced already through the Nintendo Today app...

Also, I probably won't watch this, as I want to go into Pokopia as spoiler-free as possible and Super Mario Bros Wonder With The Title That Is Needlessly Long Switch 2 Edition doesn't really interest me so much, as the single player content is slim pickings...

@RoboCube That would truly bum me out and would not make these game worth €20 at all, if you ask me. The only way I'm buying these is if they have Home support. Otherwise, what's the point for me, if I already own the GBA roms?

To be fair, I'm surprised Mario Tennis Fever manages to stay in the top 10, seeing as it's quite a niche game. Would love to play it sometime soon, but my backlog won't allow it. Especially since I won't be playing it online as I'm not into online multiplayer at all.

@JS_Comics I just checked again, apparently it was first confirmed, then removed... NintendoLife has asked TPC for confirmation. I don't want to give you the wrong information. If it doesn't have Home connectivity, I will probably refrain from getting the games altogether, seeing as I own both roms for GBA and would rather replay those, then.

Although this is a very exaggarated comment, I can completely understand that seeing your project being spoiled is a despicable act. People who actively go out of their way to do this are not fun people, especially at parties.

I am glad I personally have not seen anything that spoiled the story for me, thus far. But I am actively avoiding posts on social media about Resi 9.

@RiasGremory Last thing I heard we are getting a Wilds port. I would be up for that, to be honest. The game seems to have had a bumpy start, but most of that has been addressed by now. I think Capcom's biggest mistake is trying to make it too story driven. They should use this series for that, instead.

Since they have Home compatibility, I might just get them. Also the Switch 2 screen is pretty big, so it might be a cool way to play them like that in handheld mode. I wonder if they will be adding a legendary as a reward for completing the Dex in Home, though.

As a Jigglypuff fan, it should come as no surprise that my favourite of this gen is Scream Tail. But Tinkaton is a very close second!

I already have both on GBA. But if I'm gonna double dip, it will be Leaf Green, initially. I am not 100% sure if I can be convinced to buy it for €20. I will probably replay one of them with Retro Achievements soon, if I get the itch, though.

My first time was as a six year old kid at my friend's home. They had a NES and I had a SEGA Master System at home. Playing Zelda was really something else back in those days. The feeling of adventure was so big! There really wasn't anything close to it.

Hello fellow Nintendo Lifers! I won't have as much time to play this weekend, but I have made some nice progress with what I played. This is what I'm currently up to:

• Fire Emblem Path of Radiance
• Tears of the Kingdom (70% overall completion)

Japan always gets the good stuff, eh? I won't hold my breath for a EU release any time soon, but this is the kind of stuff I am willing to buy day one.

I'll have to watch it later, as I will be preparing for a market with my wife then, but I can't wait to see what announcements they're going to make. But in all honesty, it can't get much better after already announcing the GBA releases of Fire Red and Leaf Green.

Big if true. I would welcome it, seeing as the game now seems largely positively reviewed on Steam after its initial release.
