Re: Pokémon Pokopia Promises A Chunky Main Story With "More Things To Experience" After Credits

Sounds good! I can't wait for the actual reviews for this game. I think I'll try and get my hands on it eventually and probably 2nd hand so I can get a good price. I have to say I'm more excited about the game now that I see so many good previews!

@BloodWolfe Your reasoning baffles me. You refuse to buy Game Key Cards, yet you will happily use Steam? Why is it that so many people are massively against GKC, but use platforms like Steam, who are digital only? It makes zero sense to me.

Re: Pokémon's Super Bowl Commercial Was Probably Expensive, Unsurprisingly

@PinderSchloss Why would they limit themselves to generations 1-3? Are you looking at Pokémon with your nostalgia glasses on? I mean, sure those older games were great, but with 1.000+ Pokémon, it would be better if they made a game where you could actually catch ALL exisiting ones. A reboot is not necessary, a big budget game to redeem the bad reputation is what's really needed.

Re: TIME Magazine Reveals Special Edition Pokémon 30th Anniversary Covers

@BrazillianCara Well, I based that comment purely on my own experience with The Pokémon Company. And while I enjoy Pokémon Legends Z-A, I can't help but feel it could have been 10x better when I play Final Fantay VII Remake Intergrade and see what Switch 2 is capable of. But hey, that's me.

My advice would be not to read comments if you are not in the right headspace for it. I know there's a lot of pessimism out there and I am certainly critical about the video game industry. And I think it's good to stay skeptical, especially when one is proven time and again that many companies put profits first and not consumers first.

Hope you have a good one! Stay frosty ✌️💚

Re: UK Charts: Dragon Quest VII: Reimagined Starts Strong, But It's Not Enough To Reach The Top

@WheresWaveRace , I dislike EA for a lot of reasons. I don't mind football games at all, don't play them myself, but I am astonished by the continued success of the games.

@larryisaman , apparently it has very little influence, indeed!

@Duncanballs , Quite smart to switch, but you'll still have to wait for the final part of FF7 eventually I am in the same boat, too little time and too much great games, haha. 1st world problems And good ones!

Re: Talking Point: Age Of Imprisonment Could Inspire Next Zelda Game, Say Devs, But What Does That Mean?

Pillowpants

I am really hoping for a more linear experience again. Back to basics, dungeons with upgrades and puzzles that require said upgrades/tools. I loved the Age of the Wild. It was a great time, but I feel that we need to go back to what Zelda really was at its core.

Also, I'd love for A Link to the Past to be remade, or a port of A Link Between Worlds. Or a reimagining of the very first Zelda game, seeing as this year marks the 40 year anniversary!

Re: Video: 14 Exciting Games Coming To Switch And Switch 2 In February 2026

Resident Evil has already been pre-ordered. The bundle with three games and the pro controller. I can't wait to dive in, although I am considering where to start. Requiem is the one I most look forward to, seeing as it's new.

Besides that I voted for Dragon Quest VII and Mario Tennis. Both of which are going to be added to my collection at some point whenever I can get a decent bargain. Not to mention, find the time to play them.

Re: Metroid Prime 4's "Combined Sales" Have Surpassed One Million, Nintendo Confirms

Pillowpants

@FaroreAbhorsen I sincerely hope Nintendo will not go down that road. All the doom & gloom stories surrounding this series have so far proven to be false. Let's hope it stays that way. I think people forget that Nintendo's coffers are so full they can easily withstand some hardships here and there.

My biggest concern right now is the flooding of Nintendo Switch 2 versions with titles as long as the proverbial bible. What we really need is new games.

Re: Nintendo's Share Price Drops 11% Following Its Financial Release

Pillowpants

@sportymariosonicmixx Your scope is way too small. The geopolitical situation with tariffs in the US, the memory shortage, a lot of things outside of Nintendo's direct control are also putting pressure on things.

Yes, they do need new big hitters, but I can't imagine they aren't working on them.

Besides all that, I don't agree with you that Switch 2 is not a new hybrid console. If you're going down that road PS5 is just a PS4 Pro+
