I don't really understand the problem. It's mostly his concerns about AI, when there are AI protections in place. It's not about the money. So why not do it? I guess I just don't understand American policies and lawmaking enough.

I like the flowers, but I don't want them to overdo it. They can get a bit tedious if you keep hearing the same lines over and over.

@michellelynn0976 The focus seems to be on MP content, though. And the first impressions were all based on that content, too. So there's been very little single player content that's been exposed to the general public. I personally haven't seen much of the SP content and I'm dying to see what it all entails.

I am in the same camp as you NL-Towers folks. I can't get excited for this DLC. I need to know if the single player stuff is substantial enough to warrant a buy. Otherwise it'll be a hard skip for yours truly. I never play games like this multiplayer. That's what Mario Kart and Party are for. Call me conservative, but that's just my two golden coins.

@Picola-Wicola You're right! I hope Mercenaries is coming soon, too. It's one of my favourite extra modes in Resi games! So much fun!

@solarwolf07 How should we call it if not a rip-off when it's so obviously copied homework? I don't have any problems with monster collecting games not being Pokémon. But all I ask is that studios are original in their approach and these games clearly don't fall into that category. Monster Hunter Stories and Dragon Quest Monsters on the other hand are original and not blatant rip-offs specifically because they are doing their own thing. I'm sure there's plenty of other examples, but those are the biggesst I can name.

Just got my free wallpaper. I love the game, but the pacing can be better. I liked the switch between playstyles, so far, but a clear chapter structure like Resident Evil 4 and Revelations would have been better.

Overall I still rate the game very highly and would love to see more Resi games on Switch 2. I hope the sales of the generations pack will give a clear signal that we want more modern games on the system. Can't wait for the remakes of 2 and 4 for instance to be available.

All I can say to them is: I hope you have big wallets and are ready for time in prison.

One of my biggest gripes is how they are always casting Hollywood stars and neglecting voice actors overall for movies such as these. But I guess the stars attract more visitors somehow.

@EVIL-C It's not gloating, it's just the facts. And whether or not we like it, Game Key Cards exist. Sure, we can send a message by boycotting it, but as you can see, a lot of people seemingly don't care about it. Hence my conclusion that the loud minority is right here on NintendoLife and Reddit (places I frequent myself, and thus can say something about).

Hopefully the performance issues can be addressed with future patches. I am definitely going to get this game, but first I'll properly play through 1 and 2. As they are still in my backlog.

@Bizzyb I cancelled my pre-order when the webshop I ordered it from couldn't deliver. I just bought it digitally, since it was GKC anyway and I just wanted to dive in. I think Capcom definitely didn't expect the pack to be this popular, either!

Sounds good to me. The amount of slop was excessive on Switch 1. I feel really sorry for those who purchased it, thinking it was something else.

On a sidenote I did love the video Alex made playing some of the slop games, which was a good laugh. Especially to see just how bad these games really are.

@Folkloner the problem in your reasoning is that there was no supply, though, so there is no way of knowing how it would have performed if the supply would have been bigger. You are proposing a theory. The reality is that the copies that were available all sold out. So there's no way of knowing how it would have performed if the supply had been bigger. Hence it cannot have underperformed in the current state of affairs.

Seems like they seriously underestimated just how popular Pokopia would be. I have to admit that I am pleasantly surprised it is a really good spin-off game and I can't wait to get it myself.

Looks like they'll have to print a whole bunch of extra Game Key Cards, then... And here I thought everyone was against them! Just goes to show how much of an echo chamber we are in and how loud minorities make it seem like no one is buying games on GKC.

I'm really happy to see Resident Evil Requiem and all other Resi games perform so well. I've just finished a large segment with Leon and I think I'm getting close to the end. I will definitely replay the game several times over, as one usually does with Resi games. But I think I've been busy way over the 12 hours How long to beat says is the average playtime. I feel like I'm really doing a leisure playthrough, hahaha. But in all honesty, I just love exploring every nook and cranny of the game, just as I do with Metroid games.

That's neat! I will get the game ASAP, but I can wait with the backlog being the size it is.

I caught myself saying "What the *****" at about the same time as Grace in-game, haha. She seemed to have the same reactions as I did during a LOT of what happens in the care center.

Well deserved. I got the digital version of the Generations Pack and I've been having a blast on Switch 2. I am looking forward to seeing the system split, too. I can't imagine it doing bad on Switch 2, to be honest.

Capcom is really cooking lately! I am really enjoying my time with Resident Evil Requiem and can't wait to play whatever they are releasing this year!

I'm 2 hours in Requiem, but I can already rate it an easy 9. It's such a thrilling game!

Amazing how a 10 year old game is still so riddled with bugs. I love the Fallout series, but some game breaking bugs can really ruin your entire experience. I have played through this entry four times and I won't be triple dipping. But I am envious of all those who get to experience this game for the first time. It is really, really good!

Really glad it's taking advantage of the new hardware. I'm kind of done with the "in between" generations period. It's time to say goodbye to Switch 1.

Hello fellow Nintendo Lifers! I am attending a market this weekend with my wife. We are selling her wares there, so I won't have time to play. I am still waiting for my copy of Resident Evil Generations pack to arrive. I got the controller, but there was some sort of problem with the distributor... I hope my copy will arrive soon next week, because I have a week off from work.

I did get the new Resi themed Pro Controller, and it plays so smoothly! I only tried it for a bit with Donkey Kong Bananza and Tears of the Kingdom. I really love how silky smooth it feels!

I'm going for Gecqua! I usually don't take Water starters, but he just looks great! I'm very excited to see the evolutions of these and if they will have added types. Flying/grass seems logical for Browt.

I bought it and it's my first Pro controller for switch 2. It's so good! Shame though that my copy of the generations box did not arrive due to problems with the distributor though 🥲
