I'm waiting for pokemon dlc, it looks like it will pack a nice amount of content. Also I have an eye put in Dragon Quest (yes I have a soft point for monster collector games). But. The thing I'm excited the most is Eastward dlc. That pixelart is just delicious and I loved the base game. So yeah gotta enjoy it as soon as it's released.
I'd say that biggest problem with this game is that it kind of feels like an indie. The you see Nexon and notice the amount of mechanics and stuff and obviously it is not, but most people could think it is because of how it feels. Anyway, that spot could have been for any other real indie. I'm really missing Blasphemous 2 in TGA, specially for their art
For some reason I didn't know about Dragon's Dogma existence until a couple of weeks ago AND IT GOT A GOOD SALE WOOOO so basically gotta be playing that in my free time. Happy gaming everyone!
@H3X3NH4MM3R I'm genuinely laughing, thank you dood. Anyway gotta enjoy the new content as soon as it releases, the previous big patch basically doubled the game and it was really enjoyable.
Mario wonder! Playing now through it and it's amazing. Not sure if I'll finish the game this week, if so I'll start with the Klonoa remaster. Happy gaming everyone!
This game calls my attention but bugs are starting to be a no-no for me. I've played some games lately that crashed randomly (including Dave the diver) and mi patience is almost gone.
Maybe in some time I'll get it, but if it has bugs that force restarts or crashes it's not worth the money for me right now.
The major problem with this game is that you REALLY can play it once. Everytime after that will never feel the same. That said, one of the best games I've ever played in my life.
Actually I was expecting final fantasy xvi in the list after all the hype it had. The only game I've played is totk but I enjoyed a lot watching someone else playing spiderman. No matter which wins, all of these games are great.
Dave the diver! Started it tonight and it's great overall. I'm also in the mood of retro games so surely looking for something more to play later. Happy gaming!
Already bought it, it was the game I was waiting the most this month (will get Wonder later tho). A soon as I finish mario galaxy I'll dive into this... ;D
For people interested: I played in again past month and seems all performance problems are fixed so far. Didn't get any bug nor low fps at any moment, with 25+ acolytes.
Only reason I wanted to keep an eye to Tokyo game show was literally monster hunter, so at least I can move my attention to other things tho. I'm pretty sure we'll see a new mh game and that it will not come to switch but its successor at some point. Just for that it makes worth for me getting the new console, the time I end playing each mh is kind of insane.
Never enough Kirby. This was on my list to play and I was tempted to do the E word as I've not been able to find fit physical for a reasonable price, so it arrives on a perfect timing.
Played it on game pass and I'm really craving for a physical release I'll buy as soon as it gets announced. The game is pretty nice and has really cool references. I'd say it's one of the most original monster catcher I've played in a long while.
Bought it some time ago (and I'm glad because right now I have no spare money). I started Eastward yesterday because it's been in my backlog for a while and surely I'll wait to finish it before starting the dlc.
Not only counting tv shows from the past, but in Japan there's a lot of restaurants/pubs nintendo themed, for example. They've been around for a long while tho.
Just finished postgame of cassette beasts today. Surely gotta play hi-fi rush this weekend, I'll be playing some game pass games until pokemon dlc and ak-xolotl release. I'm really tempted for sea of stars, but surely I'll wait for switch physical edition coming next year.
Happy gaming everyone!
While some of them work pretty well, they lack two things for compete with nintendo: 1-nintendo games. People get a switch for playing nintendo exclusives, not for a powerful machine. 2-most of them require additional configuration that can become tricky for part of the player base (because yes, there's people who are not used to touch options when playing games), while on switch you can just initialize and play. These consoles are attractive for some people, but not for the big audience.
Got it as it's going to be my next game to play, tried it on game pass months ago and waited for a switch release. Switch will always be the best platform for rogues tho.
100% it, with every shrine, lightroot, korok seed, gem, side quest and almost anything you can think. Just missing some of the medals for beating mini bosses and some Hudson signs. 200+ hours, surely I'll come back for finishing if a dlc is released, otherwise...
Scarlet and violet are not bad games, they just feel rushed (glitches, performance...). Solution is pretty simple: get more developers and take more time in doing a product. "Oh but I want pokemon once a year" alright, instead of a year of dlc, two years of it. Put a little team working on it, get the entire pokedex in said game during all these years and you get a bonus year for your main team for development. "Oh but I want more new creatures" it's not like dlcs are not bringing some new pokemon.
I'm really missing New Pokémon Snap in this list. Yeah, the main games are ugly, but Snap looks absolutely precious. Sakuna of rice and ruin is fantastic as well.
Why would want anyone just a code in a box? A cartridge with everything sounds fine, but just a code should be almost a crime. @Anti-Matter didn't know about Nexomon 3, it looks pretty nice ngl
I'm happy about TCG in NSO (it's one of my fav games of that console) and the DLC looks really nice and I'm crossing fingers it runs OK. But... As someone who doesn't like phone games, late presents feel absolutely barren. I feel like phone games have eaten almost every other spin-off.
If the games are being delayed for getting better quality AND workers don't have to do crunch is not that bad. I highly prefer waiting for a finished product than waiting for a patch that allows me to play said product.
Surely Yooka Laylee, played it years ago and loved it and I'm doing a second run now. I want to replay Hollow Knight as well so if I end YL this weekend I'll start. No backlog enough (oh the irony) to stop me from replaying some games I love. Happy gaming!
Somehow I expect problems with cartridge compatibility... unless they keep same format with more capacity, or add a reader like DS with GBA games back in the day. At this point and with my current backlog I cross fingers for BC.
