Re: Video: 12 Exciting New Games Coming To Nintendo Switch In December 2023

I'm waiting for pokemon dlc, it looks like it will pack a nice amount of content. Also I have an eye put in Dragon Quest (yes I have a soft point for monster collector games).
But. The thing I'm excited the most is Eastward dlc. That pixelart is just delicious and I loved the base game. So yeah gotta enjoy it as soon as it's released.

Re: Is Dave The Diver An Indie Game? The Game Awards' Host Weighs In

I'd say that biggest problem with this game is that it kind of feels like an indie. The you see Nexon and notice the amount of mechanics and stuff and obviously it is not, but most people could think it is because of how it feels.
Anyway, that spot could have been for any other real indie. I'm really missing Blasphemous 2 in TGA, specially for their art

Only reason I wanted to keep an eye to Tokyo game show was literally monster hunter, so at least I can move my attention to other things tho.
I'm pretty sure we'll see a new mh game and that it will not come to switch but its successor at some point.
Just for that it makes worth for me getting the new console, the time I end playing each mh is kind of insane.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 2nd)

Olrun

Just finished postgame of cassette beasts today. Surely gotta play hi-fi rush this weekend, I'll be playing some game pass games until pokemon dlc and ak-xolotl release. I'm really tempted for sea of stars, but surely I'll wait for switch physical edition coming next year.
Happy gaming everyone!

While some of them work pretty well, they lack two things for compete with nintendo:
1-nintendo games. People get a switch for playing nintendo exclusives, not for a powerful machine.
2-most of them require additional configuration that can become tricky for part of the player base (because yes, there's people who are not used to touch options when playing games), while on switch you can just initialize and play.
These consoles are attractive for some people, but not for the big audience.

Re: Pokémon Company's COO Addresses Issue Between Release Schedule And Game Quality

Scarlet and violet are not bad games, they just feel rushed (glitches, performance...). Solution is pretty simple: get more developers and take more time in doing a product.
"Oh but I want pokemon once a year" alright, instead of a year of dlc, two years of it. Put a little team working on it, get the entire pokedex in said game during all these years and you get a bonus year for your main team for development. "Oh but I want more new creatures" it's not like dlcs are not bringing some new pokemon.
