Actually I've been playing Enter the Gungeon for a week. Perfect time to slap this over the table, pretty sure it will be a good addition to my library.
I want to think that they look for someone with that knowledge because, ya know, it could be helpful. No matter how much I like Pokémon, not gonna touch any NFT garbage even if it's with a stick.
I mean, they said since the beginning it was the first city and never said more was included. Price will be the same now than when they release the second wave, so I prefer to wait for both waves this time. Disappointing? Yeah. Expected? As well.
Some games have a way to see credits, no need to beat the game. Why not adding that with two options? One for the original team and one for the remaster team. It's possibly not the best way as well, but those who are interested to check the original team can get to see them.
If we get to see a new silksong trailer I'll be happy. Possibilities of Zelda, Mario and Pikmin are almost 100% (if they don't do anything with Mario would be a lost opportunity). DK and Metroid still have a possibility and at this point advance wars should just drop after the direct.
Surely after TotK year will be "slow". Gotta do some bets: -Wind Waker/Twilight Princess ports could come months later taking advantage of TotK release situation. -Pokemon SV DLC for November, maybe a spinoff announced on pokemon day. -Advance Wars for April/March (Kirby release on February and TotK on May, so could work for filling) -As complementary to Advance Wars, some Mario content due to the film. Not talking about a big game, maybe a DLC or the battle royale thing back for a while. -Pikmin 4 on July/August
For later months, maybe a Splatoon 3 DLC similar to Octoexpansion? Prime Trilogy could work as well. If Switch 2 finaly comes in 2024 they'll save some heavy stuff for its release, like Prime 4.
These are not even done by GF if I recall correctly, so yeah, that would not mean any workload for them. Getting one up to gen 9 would be great, last gen we got was 6. If I'm allowed to ask for impossible things, complete roster and shinies like older entries.
I started playing again to this game some days ago, so good to know! Just in time for finishing the stuff from previous patches before they update again.
Surely playing pokemon violet and get ready for greninja next week. Once I'm ready I'm not sure about monster hunter or playing something from my backlog. Happy gaming!
There wil not be a new model (and surely not a announcement) while there are things planned for this console. That puts the Mario Kart DLC over the table and it ends in December, announcing a new console before that would affect the current sales. I'm pretty sure there will be Mario content in the way due to the film and Zelda TotK is coming soon, so the boost makes sense.
I'd be happy with just a more powerful console - not in terms of graphics, a lot of games are starting to ask for a base performance that Switch starts to lack. Most of games with performance issues would play amazing with a bit more of power. The innovation could be on a base which could improve performance and graphics. I'd say 4k is not even necessary, Nintendo games are quite stylized and 2k would work great allowing a more affordable price. Not necessary a higher definition in portable mode - the more definition, the littlest is the text.
I have a lot of patience so getting frustrated in games is kind of difficult for me. It's been some weeks ago first time I've felt real frustration with a game and it was... souldiers. Not because of the game as it was manageable, but the crashes even saving that made me lose progress. Near the end of the game there is a map where crash saving is near 50% so you can guess. In addition some insane load screen times and you have the perfect combo. Just for the general idea, my save file says it took me 24 hours to beat the game, but switch profile says 35+ hours. So these 11-15 extra hours are loading screens and doing parts of the game again and again.
@ReaperMelia @Joeynator3000 @JeanPaul I can give a check later today. The performance issues it has is memory leak so closing the game every few hours fixes everything, that worked like a charm for me. But as far as it's stated it doesn't seem to fix anything though.
Got What remains of Edith Finch thanks to the New Year's sale, so I'll be playing that. Also Souldiers! These two sales almost kill my wallet... Happy gaming and happy New Year guys!
Got some nice games in sales! The last campfire was a pretty good game. Driving into Shovel Knight treasure trove right now, but I've got Souldiers, Ender Lilies and Aeterna Noctis (this one on physical edition), but I'm tempted to get Elechead as well. Happy gaming and happy holidays, merry Christmas!
Still need to play last two updated but not gonna complain. I managed to get every trophy(well, award) from base game and I plan to do the same with Sunbreak.
@SJW so far as I know, DLCs are never included in Game Pass. So you can play base game with its updates, but not Sunbreak content.
Kirby and the Forgotten Lands. Could say Tunic (it's been my fav game this year) but I've played it on PC. Pokemon Legends Arceus is pretty close to the position, and Pokemon Violet could have been my fav game this year but the performance issues make it lose some possitions.
I've played Wind Waker just like, two months ago? For first time in my life, and oh man it aged really well. A nice gameplay with a precious artistic direction always age well. So please, give me more Wind Waker.
Pokemon violet for me! It's a technical calamity with dropping FPS and popping shadows, but apart of these I've not seen any bug so far and I'm 50 hours in. I'm enjoying it quite a lot but I'm aware of all the problems, crossing fingers they get fixed in the future.
@Pillowpants I can't talk about others, but in my case I have one in case I can't play myself during an event/spotlight hour (for example, driving or visiting family). For moments like these it's quite useful, but I totally agree it's not the same satisfaction.
Even if I do not agree with Rowling statements, we need to remember this game has been made by a studio, not by her, and the ones that will pay consequences for going wild with this game will be the people who worked far on it. With that said, Amazon listed the game for 2023 December, but could be a placeholder.
@GrowingWings thing is, game was finished, some people could download and play it back on the day by mistake. At this point the one is losing is Nintendo, it's a complete nonsense.
On a side note, for people who has not played it, Wargroove is an excellent alternative for calming the urge.
This weekend is time for Skyrim! It's a game I've bought for almost all systems on sales but never managed to finish. I've updated my switch version to anniversary edition, next week I'll not be at home and some train travels of 6h await me so skyrim will fill the time perfectly until pokemon releases. Happy gaming everyone!
Congrats to them! It's a really relaxing game. I was really surprised it could have such a sad story at certain stage if you pay attention to what she has in the boxes.
@Dr_Luigi when I was a child my mother gifted me that game. When I reached the room with the first zombie I just turned off the console. Up to this day I've not been able to play RE1 and I'm 30.
Some years ago I played Yume Nikki and Yume 2kki and I played them so much they gave me nightmares for months. Not as a child but whoever did these games knew what they were doing.
Got Darkest Dungeon in a nice sale, same with Glyph, so surely starting these two. Maybe a bit of monster hunter rise. Not counting pokemon I'm more on the mood of playing backlog though. Happy gaming!
For anyone with game pass I'd say this game is a must try, at least. Story is pretty good, you can beat it in 6h and it's perfect for a lazy day. In case you don't click you can always uninstall, but the characters and the twists are good enough to keep the attention until the end.
If you look action or something more interactive this is not your jam, but it's perfect for a chill, rainy day.
When I woke up this morning and read that some countries were getting zorua I got really excited because zoroark is one of my fav mons. Then I remembered we're talking about Pokemon GO and all that excitement died because I was sure something would happen before the spotlight hour here.
And then you realize how bad they are managing events when the first thing you expect is not enjoying it AND not getting wrong.
@Dr_Luigi I started it this weekend and so far I've had no issues. Not sure if once you achieve late game you can get framerate issues (counting the cult grows I mean), but so far after last patch 2-3 weeks ago seems to work fine.
So in resume. -First she said that they wanted to pay her just 4000$ -Then someone says that this is a lie and that she was offered more -Now she says that it's a lie, that she never said it was just 4000$ when the videos are uploaded and you can watch them anytime
If she wanted to stop working as VA she left through a big door because at this point no company will want to contact her. Whatever, I wish her the best in the future and I hope everyone enjoys the game.
@Axecon I've not played the others so I can't talk about these, but Digimon games are surprisingly good in general. I expected a pokemon like with Cybersleught and I've never been happier about being wrong.
@OrtadragoonX I'm not into English VA since it's not my mother tongue but some of these names are familiar even to me. That info was really clarifying (which makes the situation even worse), thank you!
First of all, I don't know how much VA works are paid so I'm talking from complete ignorance. On the one hand yeah, it feels like 4000$ is an insult, I'm not sure how much time it could take to do this work but it feels low compared to a project like this. Maybe they offered any kind of royaltie but in a long term and maybe kind of low? If not it really sucks. On the other hand, if she's saying she has nothing but time and she says she can't afford to ride a car... I feel like the moral way to act is not accepting this work and I agree with her, but meanwhile there will be people accepting even less for the job which will put you in a worse situation in the future. It's sad from PG to offer so low payment to the main voice.
C'mon No man's sky has just got a great port (which I'm pretty sure is a heavier and more complex game in general) and Genshin Impact is designed for running in phones. If the PS4 port was bad is because they just didn't want to invest any time, and smells the same for Switch.

Getting 100% of Kirby return to dreamland! After that I'm not sure if playing minish cap or pokemon conquest, I'm in the mood for some good old games.

@RareFan there will be rock pikmins! They can be seen in the expanded image here: https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2023/02/pikmin-4-sprouts-july-release-date-in-new-trailer
for some reason they've been cut from the box art

MH sunbreak! Getting my last remaining awards, just in time for the new free update. Maybe Yooka-Laylee if I get the scratch of playing other game.

7/10 for me. The game itself is pretty good and the world is fun to explore. Would give a 9 but I can't due to technical issues.
