In some way FTC is correct. Nintendo IS a competitor in terms of sales and videogame market, that's a fact. But it's not a direct competitor in terms of products. I mean, both Microsoft and Sony are built around games focused in technical power, Nintendo discovered that was a lost war years ago and offered a different experience. Switch didn't need CoD nor most of Activision games to keep strong sales. Furthermore, I'm pretty sure if every big third party was bought Nintendo would not be affected SO bad, as they sell for their first parties. Just a quick view to the best sold switch games ranking shows this.

@EarthboundBenjy I'm pretty sure they're throwing this into the trash and did the change so they don't care about content anymore. They can't make it public enough for the people who put their money into passes and such, so they dropped it as a ninja update.
The situation overall is pretty sad, releasing the game as it is with some dlc characters could have worked really well, or dropping the price to 30€ and doing a public message for all people who was not agree with is first state.

As soon as I read about this yesterday I ran to buy it and found it second hand for 18€. THIS is what I wanted since the beginning, a kart game with unlockables through playing. Sad part is they did this so silently a lot of people interested in the title will miss it.

Never played it, battle pass related games (Or the ones built around fomo in general) give me anxiety and shooter is my least favorite genre. Complete combo for me.

Sad thing is that some Vocaloid songs have stories good enough to be their own videogame (for example, Alice human sacrifice, Dark wood circus, Daughter of evil saga, Synchronicity, Kokoro/Kiseki) and instead we get... this.

I want to state before posting that I don't agree with most of N's ways to tackle mods/fangames and similar.
@AstroTheGamosian thing is that Nintendo games are just available in their consoles and modding them means you are dumping the game and modifying it, which can be automatically rated as piracy, and the only way this could be solved is Nintendo releasing its games for PC, which I see almost impossible right now.
I'd love myself being able to play better versions of the game in any kind of allowed way, and I'd put my feet in making fangames/mods for some Nintendo games, but sadly I can see how that could end.

Still TotK! I have the determination of 100% like I did with BotW so still a long road to go.

I've not updated because I've not closed the game yet and I'm too lazy to do that.
On the other hand, have I used the glitch? Yeah I did, when I needed a mob drop to upgrade an armor and after three hours I just got a single drop and I still needed for 14 more. I'm sorry for the ones who enjoy this, but most of the days I have no spare time (aka adult with job plus other responsabilities) and grinds like that kill my gaming mood. Have I used it after that? Nope. Will I use it? I don't think so. Will I update? Yeah, at some point. I don't care that much about the glitch.
Anyway it's a single player game, so every option is valid as far as the one is playing enjoys the game.

Man the only sticker book I've ever had was first gen pokemon. I'm 31 and I'm tempted to get and complete this one.

Wish all my troubles in life were a delay of a game. Still excited for this game but I prefer a delayed, polished game instead of a bugged, rushed one.

Even if the number is really big I'm not that surprised - counting digital and physical I have around 130~ games, around 90 of them in digital surely. It has become my favorite system for playing, counting that I travel quite a lot and I can play digital software without internet connection and there's a LOT of quality indies that get really nice discounts (moonlighter, enter the gungeon, blasphemous, the last campfire, ender lilies, these are some quick examples of nice games with great discounts every few weeks/months).

Surprising? Yeah. Understandable? For sure.

@dugan don't worry! Got gifted an OLED past year and I didn't know that for transfer the island I needed a special program. Cloud backup don't work for different consoles and technical support refused to activate it on my oled thinking I was going to cheat surely. After that I've not touched AC for months until now, must recognize I'm doing time travel this time at least for getting the basics.

Please PLEASE put this game in Europe as well, it's been sitting in my wishing list for a long while and would love to give it a try.

At first I was doing these every weekend but... not feeling an actual incentive for doing these. No dex entrie, and already bred for all of these shinies in the past, plus the time invested in getting money and mons ready for each of these raids. Yeah, the title thing is cool, but still feels pointless at this point.

@Ogbert If I recall correctly it was more like "we'll priorize Switch because most of Hollow Knight success was on Switch", but I can be wrong here (still in the PR part of the article it's stated it could come to other platforms). So surely Microsoft slammed its money in the table.

I'm pretty sure Silksong would appear in a Microsoft direct instead (game pass launch, let's recall), so I have no hope for that.

I'm pretty sure once you get hired in a place like GameStop you have to sign a NDA contract where you can't leak information/sell something before release date, for example. And nowadays is stupidly easy to find a leaker. I'm not a fan of Nintendo's actions but this time Mike looked for it. Was it worth your 10 minutes of glory on the internet Mike?

Rogue Legacy! Playing Aeterna Noctis in the background as well, focusing on it once I've finished NG+ from Rogue Legacy. Such a good game!

Getting 100% of Kirby return to dreamland! After that I'm not sure if playing minish cap or pokemon conquest, I'm in the mood for some good old games.

I mean, they said since the beginning it was the first city and never said more was included. Price will be the same now than when they release the second wave, so I prefer to wait for both waves this time.
Disappointing? Yeah. Expected? As well.

Some games have a way to see credits, no need to beat the game. Why not adding that with two options? One for the original team and one for the remaster team. It's possibly not the best way as well, but those who are interested to check the original team can get to see them.

If we get to see a new silksong trailer I'll be happy. Possibilities of Zelda, Mario and Pikmin are almost 100% (if they don't do anything with Mario would be a lost opportunity). DK and Metroid still have a possibility and at this point advance wars should just drop after the direct.

I almost had a heart attack when I saw the miniature. I wonder when we'll be able to see it, specially with all the development time of silksong.

Surely after TotK year will be "slow". Gotta do some bets:
-Wind Waker/Twilight Princess ports could come months later taking advantage of TotK release situation.
-Pokemon SV DLC for November, maybe a spinoff announced on pokemon day.
-Advance Wars for April/March (Kirby release on February and TotK on May, so could work for filling)
-As complementary to Advance Wars, some Mario content due to the film. Not talking about a big game, maybe a DLC or the battle royale thing back for a while.
-Pikmin 4 on July/August

For later months, maybe a Splatoon 3 DLC similar to Octoexpansion? Prime Trilogy could work as well. If Switch 2 finaly comes in 2024 they'll save some heavy stuff for its release, like Prime 4.

These are not even done by GF if I recall correctly, so yeah, that would not mean any workload for them. Getting one up to gen 9 would be great, last gen we got was 6.
If I'm allowed to ask for impossible things, complete roster and shinies like older entries.

I started playing again to this game some days ago, so good to know! Just in time for finishing the stuff from previous patches before they update again.

Surely playing pokemon violet and get ready for greninja next week. Once I'm ready I'm not sure about monster hunter or playing something from my backlog.
