Re: Rumour: Zelda Live-Action Movie Eyes "Popular" Princess Pick

Just checked what was happening and somehow I don't understand the problem. If she looks similar and (I've not watched anything she's done) seems she's a good actress, then the film should be fine. At the end of the day we all want a film that we can enjoy because it's what we expect to watch.

Re: Palworld Dev Announces "Disappointing" Game Changes Resulting From Nintendo's Lawsuit

@Ogbert I came here to say exactly this.

I'm pretty sure up to this day most of mechanics are patented (even if that sounds sad) for attacking with lawsuits if a company thinks it's necessary. Palworld played too much with fire and ended burnt. Not saying nintendo is the good guy because these practices are awful, but palworld developers knew what they were doing. At the end of the day is the only game sued for throwing a ball and gliding using a creature and I'm pretty sure everyone here has played games with both mechanics.

"or a chat with Nintendo to get your data transferred via the cloud"

I don't know about other people but my personal experience is "oh, so you forgot to use the tool and formatted the old console? You can leave closing the door and start your island, no matter the cloud backup, it's a different console so we'll not allow to move to the new system", then I had to accept I was losing 600 hours invested on my island. I'll be hesitant about this until I see it.

Re: Pocketpair Recalls "Depressing Day" Nintendo Announced Its Palworld Lawsuit

Olrun

Before saying anything - I've not played yet Palworld (survival games aren't my favourite thing) and I'm not happy with the lawsuit, sometimes Nintendo/TPCi goes too far and in this case filling new patents is not an exception.

BUT. Weren't these guys saying in the past they don't mind copying anyone as far as they do fun games? It was pretty clear this could be happening any time. Also if the patent involved the capture items and such, why not just tweaking them? Pretty sure they'll do it at the end, but meanwhile they have free advertisement with the whole situation.

I dunno, I don't like this situation at all but I'm pretty sure they knew too well what they were doing.

@Servbot_EJ @WarioInAHardees any MH game with friends is a nice entry point, but just for comfortably World, Rise or Wilds just for not loading screens between zones. All of them are great and "different" enough each other to be enjoyable, still if switch is your only console or way to play, Rise is the only one available.
Must say it's sorcery how good it looks and how good the performance is, surely one of the best looking games in the entire console.
